Elsa Hosk versus Pia Miller
Results: Lookout!, Story: Emilia
Pre-Fight: We're in for an interesting lightweight faceoff; Elsa Hosk from the relatively new Emilia’s Empresses stable and the Sirens’ Pia Miller. The fighters enter the ring full of confidence and staring each other down. Elsa is sporting navy green bra and panties, black gloves while Pia’s outfit is a black bandeau bikini with white gloves.
Round 1: The fighters come out confident but cautious, avoiding a head-on approach and resorting to keeping distance with an occasional punch being thrown. Pia brakes the silence with a lunge towards Elsa as a hook to each cheek quakes the blonde and forces her to retreat. The Victoria’s Secret angel finds herself back at the ropes and with Pia right on top of her. Before she’s able to escape an uppercut to the midsection sends the blonde down to the canvas. She beats the count at five but doesn’t have time to fully recover as the referee continues the fight. A game of cat and mouse ensues as Elsa spends the remainder of the round keeping her distance while Pia stalks her around the ring.
Round 2: Elsa approaches round two defensively while Pia continues with the same strategy of lunging towards Elsa near the ropes. The blonde doesn’t fall for the same tactics twice and leaves Pia hitting nothing but air while she gets out of the way. Pia sticks to her tactics despite but keeps hitting nothing for a full ninety seconds. With the brunette out of breath, Elsa steps forward with a jabbing series of Pia’s face and body while she struggles to keep her arms up. The brunette’s legs give a shimmy after thirty seconds of incessant punching but she manages to stay up until the end of the round.
Round 3: Battered and bruised both fighters find themselves on equal grounds entering round three. No more defensive play as the girls come out running towards each other fully prepared for a mid-ring exchange. Pia draws first blood and wins the exchange with an uppercut hook combo cutting Elsa’s cheek and making her stumble a few steps back. Another uppercut sends the blonde down for the second time of the night. She rises slowly but manages to beat the count at eight. Pia continues immediately, pinning Elsa at ropes and issuing a beating until the end of the round leaving Elsa with a bloody nose and her body red and blue.
Round 4: Elsa listens to her trainer’s advice and resorts to defence as she did in round two. Instead of a head-on approach, Pia decides to circle Elsa for a while and after some time, Pia lunges towards her limping opponent but she manages to get out of the way as the brunette gets tangled up in ropes. Elsa doesn’t waste any time and immediately weighs into a series of punches landing all across Pia’s ribs, belly and face. With nowhere to go Pia is forced to take the punishment until she finally takes the knees in minute two of the round. She beats the count at seven and immediately takes a step back to lick her wounds. Neither of the fighters engages one another for the rest of the round as the round concludes to Elsa’s favour.
Round 5: Both girls climb slowly of their stools but it’s Pia who’s mouth breathing with her arm hanging low. Elsa moves in and greets her with hooks to the ribcage and a few jabs to the midsection knocking the air out of the lungs, followed by a left-right, left-right hooking session to her face. Pia’s knees give a shimmy again as she drops down for the second time but gets up at nine. Staying down might have been a better decision as Elsa continues the beating. An uppercut sends Pia tumbling down again but she keeps herself up by placing both of her arms behind the ropes. Pia turns to a punching bag; there is only so much she can take. A few more hooks to the body do the trick as she drops down to the canvas for the third time and stays down.
Winner by KO in Round 5: Elsa Hosk.
Post-Fight: Both fighters are worked to death but Elsa Hosk emerged victorious in a back and forth battle.
“These types of fights are why the FCBA is so entertaining.” Elsa says to the press “we both worked hard, gave each other a challenge but at the end of the day someone has to win and I’m glad it was me.” She continues. |
