BEFORE:

"This is a girl you want to fight," says Love with a nod. "She's been a top contender for awhile. She's won the title. She's elite. Well, I've won the bantam title, too. And four OTHER titles besides. I can beat her. And, I'll prove it."

"She's no day at the beach," says Chloe. "She can still fight at a very high level. But, tonight, not a high ENOUGH level."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Heart of Glass', but that's not Debbie Harry you hear singing, but the lovely lady coming to the ring as we speak, Jennifer Love Hewitt..."

McCarthy: "You know, that's not actually bad, Hewitt's singing. Far better than MOST of the stuff we hear around here..."

O'Dell: "Love wasting no time getting down the aisle and into the ring. She's helped off with the robe to reveal a scarlet number and a toned body that's clearly been training hard for this one. And, that's..."

McCarthy: "HORRID! VILE!"

Tess: "An assault on your olfaction, Mac?"

McCarthy: "EXACTLY, Walmart! You're finally learning something..."

Cassie: "UNlike SOME of us..."

O'Dell: "That's 'Uh Oh' and the singer of THAT tune, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet, is now on her way to the ring."

Tess: "Chloe definitely a top contender. Looking to get a shot at that gold this year..."

Cassie: "And, to do that, she's going to need to come through tonight."

O'Dell: "Chloe into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing that blue number we've seen before. And, it's about time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Hewitt couldn't handle ME back when we fought, but, at least she went the distance. I'd take this Bennet out inside of three rounds. Love!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "First fight, and first split panel. Hewitt working forward early. No surprise here. Chloe taller and with a lot of reach on Love, so Jennifer's going to want to be inside where she can work body. Bennet trying to create space with the jab, but not having a lot of success early..."

McCarthy: "This is what I'm TELLING you. Hewitt's a REAL fighter and Bennet isn't going to be able to handle her."

O'Dell: "Love in close digging body. Chloe tying up, trying to get a break. Hewitt levers, works that belly and those ribs. Bennet ties up again and gets a break. Chloe back to range, working the jab, but Love slipping inside again. Veteran showing excellent movement."

Cassie: "That's the key. Keep the head and feet moving. Don't get picked off by the jab and you can work in."

O'Dell: "And, that's what Love's been doing here in the first, staying right in Chloe's grill and working body. Bennet tying up again, but, Love punches free and lands a SHARP right to the chin and THAT got the younger brunette's attention! There's the bell, and that's an excellent round for Love, who takes it wide."

Tess: "And grabs a 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Love looking to work in again, but Chloe now double-tapping the jab. That's making a difference. Bennet able to slow Hewitt down, leave her on the outside where the older woman doesn't want to be. Because, that leaves her open for Chloe's right-hand follows."

Tess: "And, those, as we've seen many times, are plenty dangerous."

O'Dell: "Hewitt takes a solid combination and is forced to cover up. Bennet getting it rolling now. She's got the geometry she wants and she's bringing barrages of leather down on Love. Jennifer backing, covering. This is not what Hewitt wants. Older brunette needs to be coming forward."

Cassie: "But, Chloe's now got her on the back foot."

O'Dell: "Sure does, and one former champion working hard to KEEP the other there. Bennet in a rhythm and this can be a FEARFUL thing to deal with if you're on the other side of the ring. NICE combination by the Front Streeter sends Love back another step. Five seconds to go. GOOD right from Bennet and there's the bell. Chloe. Wide."

McCarthy: "One lucky round. Still even at 19. Love will be fine."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third opens with Love again working forward. She's angling, moving the feet. Bennet using that jab to slow her down, landing some nice shots before Jennifer gets inside and begins to work body. Love digging in there, banging the ribs and midsection, piling up some points and some hurt..."

Tess: "Going to take a lot of investment in the body to wear down Bennet, but, Love's getting work done."

O'Dell: "Definitely is and lands another nice right hook that got Chloe's attention. Bennet shoving off, getting some space, getting back to the jab. Love working in again, goes back to the body. Chloe ties her up, hangs on tight, gets a break from the referee then circles away."

McCarthy: "Ref should WARN her for all that clinching!"

O'Dell: "Into the final twenty seconds. This one has been close, with Chloe scoring on the outside and Love on the inside. Hewitt works in again, gets to the body. Bennet tying up, Love punching free and landing a NICE right hand at the bell. Close to Jennifer in the third."

Cassie: "And, Hewitt back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Pattern definitely set in this one. Bennet trying to get space, Love wanting to fight the thing in a phone booth. Hewitt forward, working inside, banging some body. Chloe now thumping back in there instead of trying to clinch. Both fighters doing some serious digging now."

Tess: "Wondered when Bennet would try this. She's trained by Neve Campbell. She can WORK body."

McCarthy: "Campbell couldn't train a kid to ride a bike with training WHEELS!"

Cassie: "Fortunately, we have ten fights tonight. We might have time to figure out what that MEANS..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Ten. I may need a bourbon DRIP. Ladies working on the inside now. It's chin on shoulder stuff. Digging body, stepping back to land a hook upstairs here and there, but it's almost all body work and THERE'S A RIGHT UPPERCUT BENNET AND DOWN GOES LOVE!"

Tess: "Right on the BUTTON!"

O'Dell: "Definitely was and Jennifer crashes to her back, eyes closed, as Chloe heads to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. No movement at all from Hewitt. Six. Seven. This is going to be academic. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, that got physical..."

Chloe (nodding): "I had no doubt it would. She's always been that kind of fighter. I wanted distance, and wasn't getting it all the time. Neve kind of reminded me to go work some body myself, and that worked out pretty well."

Tess: "You're right in the middle of that bantamweight title picture..."

Chloe: "Yeah, and I want to STAY there. Just keep winning and I'll get a chance to get my belts back."
