Brooklyn Decker vs Katrina Law

BEFORE: Brooklyn Decker was supposed to fight Adrianne Palicki on the 'No Love Lost' PPV last month but the Chin-Checker was handed an unified welterweight title shot by Amanda Righetti and ultimately ended Big Red's record reign in the process.

"Does this mean I'm gonna be the first challenger Adrianne picks now?", Brooklyn quips to the media as she ponders her options amid flurry of rumours what happens with the Battle of Ohio rematch going forward.

Brooklyn returns to action following a double showdown versus Hannah Ferguson back in December however her tonight's opponent is anything but your random free agent. Katrina Law has served as Righetti's understudy on the Floydian/Bonzo's Gym roster for almost a full decade before she was finally replaced by the otherwise unheralded Tasya Teles in January. That was a curious decision by Bonzo since Teles is only four weeks younger than Law but one should never question this man's decisions when it comes to scouting welterweight talent!

Brooklyn Decker wears a yellow bikini set with blue trim & blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Katrina Law wears a red crop top, white hip-huggers and white gloves. Long black hair wrapped in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Katrina is hungry for some action and blasts out of the gate like it's all or nothing here tonight; she begins to swing straight at the blonde model who appears to be a little amused by the high work-rate until she gete clobbered on the nose and eats a powerful cross on the mouth moments later. She wobbles back and before she can respond in a proper fashion, there's Katrina DRILLING her high guard into complete extinction! Kat is ON like the Donkey Kong and bullies the stunned model onto the ropes where she just tees off like she wants to score a famous KO1 victory! How rude! No respect for Brooklyn's presence here at all and the mind over matter slugging keeps the Ohio native firmly wrapped in a jabbing vacuum for remainder of the round as Law takes the opener with room to spare!

Round 2:
Law lays down the law again... for like ten seconds before she gets bumped onto her heels following a quick triple burst from the Ohio model. Brooklyn appears to be downright upset how that opening round left her totaly flat and she barges into the brunette's face on speed dial which triggers a hectic bump & run chase once Katrina begins to feel the hear. Decker glues her mitts on target and seems more than satisfied with the head-hunting approach as she keeps the former Righetti understudy in mid-distance control. Katrina tries to swing one but she skims off the flesh and eats a thumping double that sends her sideaways onto the ropes with Decker blowing into her guts thereafter and scoring easy punches while Law just can't muscle her way out of this jam for remainder of the round.

Rounds 3 & 4:
More of the same during the next six minutes, Katrina struggles to make the initial jabbing blast count and gets whooped back to mid-distance where she gets gradually outworked by the confident blonde. Brooklyn spend most of January gearing up for the Battle of Ohio rematch before Big Red stepped it and her former understudy is paying the prize for this turnaround tonight. Decker tears a small bloody patch across Law's nasal ridge early in the third and keeps working the overhand control to show superior power supply; Katrina hangs on in the slugging drill until she gets bumped onto the ropes and struggles to swing back anymore which traps her in another jabbing vacuum disaster come the final minute. Rinse & repeat in the fourth - Law lively in the opening minute, outworked in the second and hugging the turnbuckle in the third. More work for the cutmen thereafter as another small gash has developed under the left eye whereas Decker enjoys a jouyful chat with Claudia Schiffer instead.

Rounds 5 & 6:
Katrina channels the inner wrath to the point she manages to slip underneath Brooklyn's aerial attacks and cashes in with a rare body assault that finally throws the blonde off her merry run. Katrina ignores a looming facial injury and rips into the model's guts to slow her down but she just can't outmuscle her in the war of attrition that follows as Decker uses her jug power to send the brunette reeling. She misses a looping charge though and allows Katrina to catch a breather before the older woman finds success on the rebound. She drills the model's breadbasket and spins her onto the ropes where she drops another double harpoon to force Brooklyn into a clinch. More of this tactics follows in the sixth; Katrina builds a steady midsection rally that Brooklyn struggles to embrace before a messy clinching struggle ensues; Law digs a stray elbow into the blonde's jugs and rips an uppercut rally on the chin that backs the younger woman into the ropes and for the first time since the opener Brooklyn has to bide her time behind a high earmuff with Law trying to pounce on her boobs with a late flurry. Huh! She fails to rattle the model enough to cash in on the damage factor but she's made Decker look VERY upset again so that's a partial success for the ex-Floydian stalwart.

Round 7:
Yep, Brooklyn has had enough of Kat's comeback and she blows into her face with a spirited jabbing combo that quickly opens the nasal wound again. Katrina tries to respond in similar fashion but just can't find that big punch amid the blonde's frenzy and wobbles to her heels before Brooklyn whacks her across the mouth and almost floors her in one-punch fashion. The Bradenton crowd roars in support when Decker suddenly finds herself in a commanding position and Law unable to stop her from pounding her back onto the ropes where it's the blonde's turn to add some midsection juice. Katrina hangs on behind a tight earmuff but gets her ab muscles tested hard and buckles under the pressure; she survives the initial downstairs blast but fails to lock the Ohio model down and Decker shatters the high guard come the third minute rocking the brunette into a standstill before one last cross hook bursts Kat's lips into a blood-seeping mess! Ugh! Law is hurting a lot as she smears the blood over her face and sports that hollow look in the eyes during the break.

Round 8:
Brooklyn comes flying in and dissects the high guard with ease while Katrina sends a half-hearted response while trying not to look scared out there. However another crippling double opens the lip wound again and has Law getting her mitts shoved into her face as Decker's power reigns supreme; she drop-kicks the ailing brunette onto the ropes and bashes her face from both flanks as Kat's guard collapses and leaves her at the model's mercy. Brooklyn shows her none and RIPS a left cross on the chin that SENDS LAW SLIDING DOWN ON HER KNEES in jack-knife fashion just shy of the one-minute mark. Ugh! Katrina sits down on her heels and apparently she's had enough of the face bashing as she doesn't respond to the referee's count... EIGHT... NINE... TEN... it is OVER!!! KO8 Brooklyn Decker!!!

AFTER: Another big win for the Ohio's finest who gloats over the sitting opponent for a while but doesn't rub anything extra into Katrina's face. It's been a bad period for the brunette lately with Tasya Teles replacing her on the Bonzo roster and she still showed plenty of promise tonight - even in defeat. Not many welters would drag Brooklyn Decker for eight rounds of competitive boxing and Katrina just isn't a random free agent punchbag by any means. Whether she finds management again is difficult to predict but she remains a very dangerous floater north side of 130 lbs.

What next for Brooklyn? The Battle of Ohio rematch remains in limbo since it's Adrianne Palicki's personal choice now that she's ended Amanda Righetti's championship reign so the Lioness Club of America front office is ready to challenge Robyn Lawley instead. One should always consider another JMDD encounter too.
