BEFORE: The news of Kelly Rohrbach parting ways with the VIXENs was definitely a major surprise but the Connecticut blonde is poised for a quick bounce back action as she sets up a classic Boxing After Dark meeting with another model who lost management in recent weeks, ex-Girl Friday Sara Sampaio.

"I still think VIX gave up on me waaay too early!", Kelly tells Erin Andrews, "I know Hannah Ferguson gets all the love BUT Nina Agdal struggled real bad for a long time and they held on to her against the odds. I never got a chance to make amends for a little dry spell I had but it's their loss. I know I'll find many suitors for my talents, just look at these agents & head coaches here in the building. I know Sara wants to hook up with some of these gals too but she's going down tonight so I'm gonna get that contract signed first!"

Sara Sampaio remains a mysterious project who never really took off with the Girls Friday and she hopes to avoid Irina Shayk's fate and maybe bounce back like Emily DiDonato did with the Fates: "Yeah, there's a major demand for these models in FCBA and I just drew the short end of the stick lately! Kelly is just another blonde bimbo who talks too much! No wonder VIX kicked her out, I bet they had enough of this diva nonsense!" (giggles).

Kelly Rohrbach wears a white bikini set with light blue trim & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. Sara Sampaio wears a red bikini set with dark green trim & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Kelly is thirsty for some early action and simply outworks the brunette in close range while sticking her mitts into Sara's face. The back & forth exchange overwhelms Sampaio who has to think better off it and bails out into mid-distance but Kelly leaps after her and tries to close her down again. Kelly isn't your random free agent after all and Sara learns it the hard way when she gets pounded onto the ropes to soak more head-hunting abuse that dissects her high guard in the process. Rohrbach barks in her efforts to inflict more damage and slumps Sampaio with a loud whimper when she blasts her across the brow ridge and loops a nasty hook onto her ear. Sara stumbles to the side and soaks up another brutal hook on the mouth that leaves her gasping for air at the bell while Kelly makes some obscene gestures aimed at nobody in particular.

Round 2:
Kelly roars from the bell and tries to stick another head-hunting rally into Sara's face but gets beaten for a low hook in the chest as the brunette suddenly kicks into a high-octane gear to catch the blonde off guard. Sara looked lost at sea after the first round but she digs deep into her past as well and rocks the American's breasts with a rare JMD-like assault before a heavy uppercut on the chin sinks Rohrbach into spasms. Uh-oh! Sara nails the fellow model across the lips and bulldozes her onto the ropes where she lays it into her midsection while Kelly tries to shake her off but gets smacked repeatedly on the boobs and only clinches the raging brunette instead. Sara digs an elbow into Kelly's solar plexus just to let her know who's in charge here before a stray headbutt bellows the American on top of the ropes and leaves her fuming come the bell.

Round 3:
Sara channels more Mediterranean wrath and outworks the American in a hectic close range tussle before a nasty cross hook on the nose wobbles Rohrbach onto her heels. She tries to push off to neutralize Sara's jabbing assault but gets beaten to the punch anyway and Sampaio rocks her head back & forth to the point the lower lip begins to swell in significant fashion. Kelly bides her times clinching the dark-haired foe but still gets shoved onto the ropes where Sara plugs her in the exposed gut and finds a hole which enables her to punish the right breast as well. Ugh! Kelly just can't shake the Portuguese model off and gets stuck in the corner with Sampaio working the left hand to punish the flesh before she nails her on the liver area and leaves the blonde whimpering at the bell. Ugh! Maybe VIXENs knew exactly what they were doing parting ways with the blonde heroine after all?

Round 4:
Sara is up & running early in the fourth trying to smash Kelly's midsection into a mush but she eats a nasty overhand on the nose that triggers an otherwise back & forth slugging drill thereafter. Both women trade blows in the center of the ring and nobody yields an inch before Rohrbach lands a brutal hook across the nasal ridge and wobbles the brunette onto her heels. Now it's Sampaio's turn to push off and beat the other model for the drilling punch but that's an ill-advised move and Kelly gets there first! She smokes the brunette on the temple and adds a flying right hook on the jaw that sends Sara tripping back onto the ropes. She dekes to the side at the last moment to prevent a slam dunk hook but the blonde is on the prowl thereafter and traps the reeling foe in the opposite corner where she cleans out the breadbasket to even the scores. However Sara barks in Kelly's face and the ref has to separate them before things get really ugly.

Round 5:
No love lost here as both women trade more head-hunting blows which only makes Kelly's swollen lip look worse here; Sara glues her mitts on that very spot but gets beaten by a couple of nasty overhands that tear a small gash over her right eye. She refuses to back off the slugging drill regardless and rocks the blonde's head a couple of times yet she misses the follow up and doesn't even graze Kelly's head with the charhing forearms... on the contrary, Rohrbach smacks her from the inside and plugs her mitts into the solar plexus before a booming uppercut nails Sara square on the jaw!!! Uh-oh!! Sara wobbles forward with a whimper and eats a SMOKING hook on the mouth that sends the gumshield flying OUT!!! Sampaio takes a slo-mo turn to the right and her legs simply give way like she's been caught by the ankles by the turf monster. She collapses in a heap at Kelly's feet and rolls onto her back with eyes closed!!! She tries to fend off the knockdown daze but remains shaken & very much stirred during the slowish count and the ref waves it off when it becomes obvious the proud model just isn't going anywhere here. KO5 Kelly Rohrbach!!!

AFTER: Kelly yells out in delight and struts back to her corner where she's soon joined by ESPN's Erin Andrews. However there's someone else also coming over so there's no usual post-fight interview, well, not before Claudia Schiffer invites Kelly to the private VIP lounge where she's handed a contract with the Lioness Club of America. As much success Kelly enjoyed with the VIXENs, she was on LCA's radar before Brooklyn Decker was shockingly released by Front Street which prompted the initial roster shake-up back in 2017. Joy Corrigan might dislike this signing but Kelly is simply too good to sit on the free market for too long. 

Erin Andrews gets the exclusive rights to announce the big news and also confirm Kelly is very much on the JMDD prowl as well. Hannah Ferguson's shadow might have been too much to handle but Kelly is confident she will make a huge impact with the new management. Moreover the next fight is already in the works as Elizabeth Turner has agreed to fight Kelly in JMDD rules within the new few days! "We're coming after them and we're coming big! I heard all the rumours but just like Brooklyn wanted to prove Front Street wrong, I'm gonna prove VIX made a mistake letting me go prematurely! And I don't care how many titles Hannah wins for them!" (giggles).
