Intro:
We kick off the third ever FCBA International Cup with a battle of two young singers, Becky G represents Team USA against Zara Larsson representing Team Rest of the World, fighting here in the Philippines Arena.

Becky is 23 years old, she stands 5'0 ½ , holding a record of 4 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 2 defeats.

Zara is 22 years old, she stands 5'4, holding a record of 1 win, that coming by way of knockout, with 2 defeats.

Heading into the fight, many pundits wondered why these two were were picked for their teams after they lost their last fights, both captains had similar answers in saying they wanted a young hungry fighter to kick off the event.

Well as both were interviewed on the FCBA Network set, Becky definitely showed she she hungry for success, telling interviewer Lucy Liu "I was picked because Miley knows I am going to be running this flyweight division someday"

When asked about her feelings on Zara, Becky scoffs and replies "the Rest of the World team must have been hard pressed for picks, Zara doesn't worry me one bit, she is going to get a taste of my power and wilt as she has always done"

Talking her chest, Becky finishes by saying "in this chest beats the heart of a lioness, like the rest of my team we are going to bring home that cup and remind the world why we are the best nation in the world" Lucy nodding with a grin, seeming to like the confidence of Becky.

Zara sits on the seat not looking too bothered herself, telling Lucy "I've thanked Cheryl everyday since she picked me for our team, I want to slap the taste out that mouthy bytch Becky" clenching her fists as she smirks.

She is questioned on her suitability to the team with her record, Zara chuckles before replying "it's not great and I know you are not the only one questioning me, the simple answer is I know that I can be a winner, all the people who've beaten me are no bad fighters"

Standing up with a smile as she shakes hands with Lucy, she says "I'll prove against Becky that I am going forwards to the top, with her flat on her ass" Lucy nodding with a beaming smile.

Fight night, Becky is the first out the curtain, she has Jane Krakowski working her corner tonight, both smiling as they head down the aisle side by side.

Becky is wearing a red sports bra, an American flag pattern trunks with a white waistband, her name written across the waistband in red, red shoes, white gloves, her brunette hair is tied into a braid.

Getting inside the ring, Becky bangs her gloves together as she jogs over to her corner, mounting the bottom ropes in her corner while pounding her chest as she seems fired up for this fight.

Zara now heads out the curtain with her coach for tonight Melanie Brown, Zara has an all business look on her face as she marches down the aisle to the ring.

She is wearing a navy blue sports bra, a white waistband with "Larsson" on her Sweden flag pattern trunks, navy blue shoes and gloves, her blonde hair is tied into a ponytail.

Climbing inside the ring, Zara raises her arms into the air with a cheer from the crowd, she stares at Becky as she goes through her warm up routine.

The referee brings the fighters together at the center of the ring, an intense look on both their faces as eyes are locked together, these two have a point to prove tonight.

Told to touch their gloves up, they slam them together with their opponent, a crack of leather rings out before they turn to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
As the bell rings, Becky is looking to be aggressive to close the gap, pushing Zara to the outside of the ring right away as they trade straight shots to the others faces.

Becky gets inside to land to the body, head down as she looks to press her opponent against the ropes, getting nudged back as Larsson gets off the ropes.

The next time Becky tries to come forwards, she gets caught with a double jab to the top of her head, keeping her to the outside.

Zara moving around the outside of the ring, starting to land punches to the top of the American's head, controlling the pace of the round as Becky has to work harder to get inside.

A left cross lands across the cheek of the brunette, with a straight following to knock back Gomez near the ropes, Becky covering up as Zara opens up on her.

The round ends with Zara heading back to her corner with a grin, Melanie telling her to keep Becky at arms length, let the dynamo punch herself out.

Round 2:
Looking to be warmed up, Zara is landing nice jabs and straights to the top of Becky's head, keeping her at range through the first minute.

Knocking the head back of the smaller fighter, bouncing on her toes as she moves side to side, Zara is looking full of confidence now.

Stepping in to land a straight, Zara finds air as Becky dips under it, AN UPPERCUT/OVERHAND LEFT COMBO TO THE CHIN OF LARSSON SENDS HER TO THE CANVAS!

Becky yells at Zara "too easy bytch!" Before jogging to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Zara turns to all fours shaking her head, 4....5....6... Zara getting up to a knee, 7...8.. Popping up to her feet as she nods to the referee.

When they are told to fight, Becky is quick to go for the kill, stepping in with a right off the mouth of her fellow singer, a left cross grazes the chin of the blonde as she gets pushed back.

Pulling Becky into a clinch, Zara looks at the referee to intervene, with the referee breaking the two apart, Zara needing to get back behind her jab as she moves around near the ropes.

The round ends with Becky raising her right hand in the air, Zara telling her coach "she was lucky" Melanie telling her to protect herself better, losing focus again will end with her defeat, making Zara nod in reply.

Round 3:
Coming out with an intense look, Zara is boxing off the back foot, knowing that Becky is going to come right at her, she is nicely catching the Latin fighter with straight shots.

Becky is able to dodge a right to get in closer soon enough, hammering in right and lefts to the body of her opponent, just missing with an uppercut as Zara leans out the way.

Changing tactics to smother the work of Becky, it isn't pretty but Zara is starting to hold more her opponent, pulling her into headlocks when Becky gets in tight to her.

Understandably that raises the temper of Becky, who misses with a wild overhand right, Zara punishes her with two punches into the left side of her left, a left hook then smacks Becky in her face.

The opening gives Larsson the chance to get on the front foot, bashing Becky into her face to snap her head back, marking up the beautiful face of Gomez.

Soon the round comes to a close with Becky telling Zara to woman up and really fight, Zara smirks before shrugging her shoulders, making Becky hiss at her as the referee has to nudge her back towards her corner.

Round 4:
Coming out their corners with eyes locked, Becky looks to step inside quickly, she manages to slip a right towards her head to get in closer to pound in two body shots, getting held again by Zara though to protests from the USA corner.

The referee warns Zara on excessive holding; when they start up again, Zara sidesteps a charging Becky, then smacks a left hook across her face to send her ponytail flying around.

Whether the USA corner like it or not, Zara is dictating the pace of the fight, boxing off the back foot, while letting Becky come at her.

Her punches are marking up the face of Becky, who has to tighten her guard as she starts to think about how she is going to close the gap between them.

In the final minute, Becky feints with a jab, watching where Zara moves to, studying her as she keeps feinting before landing a big right to the jaw of Zara.

An overhand left smacks the blonde across her cheek, with an uppercut just getting blocked in time by Zara, who is backed up into the ropes by body shots coming from Becky.

The bell rings before Becky can do more, a frustrated look on her face as she slaps the top ropes downwards, sitting on her stool as Jane tells her to use her brain, stop just charging in and getting picked off so easily.

As an argument begins in the American corner, Zara is looking cool and collected in her corner, Mel reminding her not to hold Becky as much, knowing a lost point could make a difference if it goes the distance.

Round 5:
As expected Zara sticks with what was successful, moving around Becky with a stiff jab to keep the smaller woman at arms length, though more of those punches are landing on the gloves of Gomez.

Slipping a straight aimed at her nose, Becky counters with an overhand right to the side of Zara's head, dipping her head down as she follows up with more hard shots to the ribs of Larsson.

Shoving back Becky, Zara is finding that Becky is getting some momentum going, both landing stiff shots as they fight around the ring, sweat flying off them as their corners will them on.

A missed jab by Zara leaves her open to a right under her ribs, another looks to be making Zara wince as a red mark shows under those ribs.

Becky keeps targeting it as Zara swings hard at her head to try to ward her back, there is almost a dancing movement to the footwork of Becky as she looks in the groove.

The round ends with Becky raising her arms in the air as she has swagger to her step, Jane much more praising then the last two rounds.

The Rest of the World corner is icing the ribs of Zara, who tells Mel "I'm still f***ing her up, guess I have to knock her out cold for her to understand that" with the coach just nodding.

Round 6:
Stepping out her corner flicking her jab out, Zara is throwing more big right hands behind it now, not just content with trying to win rounds, now trying to make a statement it seems.

Soon enough though she misses with a left cross, eating a right hook under her ribs, ANOTHER LANDS IN THE SAME SPOT, ZARA BACKS OFF BEFORE IN A DELAYED REACTION SHE GOES DOWN TO HER KNEES THEN HER SIDE HOLDING HER RIBS!

Becky pounds her chest before heading off to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Zara is sobbing as she cradles her side, 5...6...7... The gumshield comes out as she sucks in air, 8...9...10 that's a she wrote for this one!

Winner Becky G KO Round 6

After:
That's Team USA up one to nothing in this event, Becky looks fired up as she bounces on her toes whooping in celebration, her corner team applauding her for a picture perfect body shot to end this fight.

Jogging back to her corner, while her and Jane had words before, they fist bump with a smile to show they are united tonight, Becky gets her gloves off and kisses her right fist with a wink to her fans.

All the while Zara has to be helped up to sit on her stool, she gets ice packs on her rib, admitting she f***ed up to Melanie, who just looks in the air trying not to lose her temper over seeing Zara change the gamelan.

Instead of Zara maybe grinding out a victory, she along with her coaching crew have to watch Becky get her hand raised at the center of the ring, Becky pounding her chest with her right fist as she proudly looks into the camera.

Being helped out the ring, Zara stares down at the aisle, knowing she blew a big chance to get a statement win, maybe get herself regular fights, now she might be back on the sidelines waiting for a phone call to return to the ring.

Back in the ring, Becky mounts each corner, flexing her arms for her fans as the pocket dynamo shows again why it isn't the size of the dog that matters, it's the size of it's heart that makes the difference.

Becky leaves the ring soon with Jane beside her, both chuckling as they have an arm around the others waist, chatting about the fight and the look on Zara's face as she toppled down, Becky continuing her quick rise in the FCBA as Team USA get off to an early lead.
