BEFORE:
“I’ll be honest with you,” Nina grins wryly, responding to reporters’ questions by ring-side. “I wanted Sara as my opponent because she just got dumped by her stable a few months back. She can’t be a good head-space at this time, after losing four-in-a-row - five if you’re counting tonight.”

Nina’s brimming with confidence, bouncing on her toes as though she can’t wait to get in the ring tonight. She shows off her lean Danish figure wrapped in a white bikini and similarly-coloured gloves, practically ignoring Sara from across the ring, where the Portuguese swimsuit and lingerie model is conducting her own interview:

“Leaving Girls Friday was a blow to my career indeed, but I’m happy for the steady stream of fights from challengers. Let’s be clear: Nina’s no rock-star either, so if she thinks I’m gonna be an easy fight tonight, I’m about to prove her wrong.”

Ladies are alike in terms of build and height, with Nina the more experienced of the pair in this blonde versus brunette fight. Wind-up is quick as a fiddle as both ladies touch gloves with a little too much force, after the referee explains the rules for the upteenth time.

Sara is shadow-boxing in her corner, looking ready to go in a purple-violet bikini top and bottom, with red gloves striking the air quick and hard. Nina with her arms raised mid-chest, steady and calm as she awaits the bell. Speaking of which, there it goes and HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Lightweight models get right to it, center-clashing action as they let their fists fly at each other’s faces immediately! It’s a battle for swimsuit-model supremacy, apparently, as Nina wants to keep her win-streak intact and Sara just wants to show the world she’s still got plenty to give. Both ladies are demonstrating drive, that’s for sure, DRIVING fists into the mouth and nostrils before taking a quick breath for air, then letting RIIIIIP with more crazy hooks. Another exchange takes place in the middle minute, both girls pushing each other back and forth, with one girl socking the other across the face, then the other woman returning fire with a glove shoved hard into the paunch. Round ends and we think Sampaio’s got the upperhand for this opening, doing slightly more damage than her Vixen counterpart.

ROUND 2:
Nina seething at these early results, cringing at the thought of a free agent fighter getting the better of her so easily. She comes in hot at the bell, her guard up a little higher as she takes Sara’s jab combos before slamming a stiff right-hand of her own into the Portugeuese’s lips, another direct hit to her midsection like a torpedo striking the bow of a cruiser. Sara gasping as she goes circling backwards, having taken some damage as evident by that big scowl on her face. The Portuguese model and actress tries to counterattack in the final minute, parrying another straight cross towards her face before rocking Nina with a counter-hook of her own. Audience just soaking up the action, as both girls eat some mutual punishment this round, but we think Nina manages to redeem herself this time by dominating a majority of the action.

ROUND 3:
Sara left cursing out loud in Portuguese as she flies at her foe for round three - ain’t nothing gonna stop this girl’s advance and climb up the Lightweight ladder! Nina stands still, focused and calm, however, determined to hinder her: Sara with a series of jabs to Agdal’s arms and body, but fails to make much headway with Nina simply holding her ground and landing counter-shots in tandem: Sara left growling as her hook slams into Nina’s arms, but quickly takes a hook of her own across the face with Nina swiping left after preparing for her initial attack. This exchange goes on once, twice, THREE times, till Sara’s thrown clear into the ropes with a loud groan, her arms over the top for support. But Nina’s not about to give her any, the Danish girl CROWDING IN CLOSE and prepared to FINISH her off: left hook to the side of the head connects hard, sans that uppercut to the jawline blasting Sara’s head into the air! DOWN SAMPAIO GOES!! The former Girls Friday starlet CRUMPLES in a shocked daze! Referee starts the count early but she ain’t getting back up from that one! Nina’s smirking in corner all the way to the count of 10! It’s over quick, ladies and gents!

Official Decision: Nina Agdal defeats Sara Sampaio via KO3!

AFTER:
Sara left bulldozed and laid out by the ropes, her eyes glistening with tears as she wonders what the hell happened as the pain courses through her bruised body. Nina on the other hand roaring back to her corner in victory, arms pumped into the air and towards the assembled crowds.

With both these ladies’ rollercoaster-like records, however, who knows whether a win’s still considered a win or a fluke, with a victory tonight far from guaranteeing success in the future. But don’t let Agdal catch you saying that, of course: the Vixen already screaming into the microphone later after being approached by reporters:

“Give me Aldridge, Decker or even Rohrbach - I’ll fight them all again, and I guarantee I’ll win this time!”

Sara gets helped to her own corner and out of the ring by her team, before Nina has any other ideas for post-fight humiliation. One positive out of all these losses, of course, is the fact that she’s still getting popular exposure. For now, the Portugeuse model remains in demand, and we wish her the best of luck for the future.
