BEFORE:

"Look," says Christina with a shake of the head. "I know what everyone thinks. I got blasted out of here last year by Hill. But, that was one fight and one punch. I'm better than that, and I'll prove it."

"I'll agree with one thing," says Gemma with a nod. "She's no pushover. But. She's not proving anything tonight other than she's not as good as me."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Laredo' by Band of Horses, and here comes the star of ABC's 'A Million Little Things', Christina Ochoa!"

McCarthy: "A typical Dancing Hooker Opponent. A tomato can with NO FCBA wins!"

Tess: "Remember last month, BFF, when Britney was here with us..."

Cassie: "I LOVED that..."

McCarthy: "Shut up, BOTH of you!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Christina is helped off with the robe to reveal that black bikini we've seen before and she's looking pretty great in it. And, that's 'London Calling' by The Clash you hear behind us, and here comes the former Unified Lightweight Champion, 'The Gravesend Gladiator', Gemma Arterton!"

Tess: "Arterton with her sights set on grabbing those belts back in 2020, and she'll need a win tonight to stay on track to do that."

O'Dell: "Gemma into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that familiar violet number. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Gemma. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Arterton!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous to start the evening. Ladies setting up at gunnery range, but Christina moving the feet, slipping to middle distances, getting off. This is the style she worked against Taylor Hill the last time she was here. Doesn't want to box at range. Wants to get physical..."

McCarthy: "Good strategy against a toothpick like Hill, but Arterton's a little sturdier."

O'Dell: "Christina getting some good work done, though. She's getting the geometry she wants, and that's making a difference. Gems able to score in spots, but it's Ochoa who's piling up the points at the moment. Ladies fall into a clinch now. Ref breaks them and Arterton gets some distance..."

Cassie: "But, not for long. Christina right back to mid-range where she can score."

O'Dell: "Ten seconds left in what's been a very good first for Ochoa. Christina landing a solid combination. Gemma covers up and the older brunette works some body right to the bell. That's definitely an encouraging round for Ochoa. She takes it wide and grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway with Gemma working the jab. She's using it to keep Christina at bay, and it's making a difference. Ochoa not able to get to her spots now. Instead, she's being forced to fight on Arterton's terms, and that's not something you want to be doing against the former Unified Lightweight Champion..."

Tess: "Not a lot of percentage in it, that's for sure."

O'Dell: "Christina working the feet, trying to find a way to get something going, but Gems just in COMMAND right now. Everything she's doing is working and perfectly. British beauty in some kind of rhythm right now, and Ochoa's taking the blunt end of it at the moment..."

Cassie: "We've seen this before from Gemma. She's just so good technically. When she gets in a zone..."

O'Dell: "Just twenty seconds left in the second stanza. Arterton has been in control from bell to bell. Lands a solid combination that stops Christina cold. Ochoa covers up. Five seconds left. Sharp exchange at the bell. Not close in the second. Almost all Gemma."

McCarthy: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Ochoa with a bit of an adjustment to start the third. She's dropped into a quarter crouch looking to work her way forward. Doesn't want to close all the way. Just get to mid-range where she's most comfortable. And, she's having a little more success doing it now..."

Cassie: "Not as much as she'd like, though. Gemma still able to enforce distance at times."

O'Dell: "Result is some two-way action at the moment, with Christina having the better of things at her preferred distance and Gems scoring more at hers. As it's been throughout so far, both fighters landing some solid shot, but nobody hurt. Instead, it's about tactics and scoring points."

McCarthy: "Ochoa moving the feet and head very well."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, and, added to the crouch, it's allowed her to get back into the fight. We're down to fifteen seconds in the third. Not a lot in it at the moment. Solid exchange right there. Both fighters landed a good right hand. And, there's the bell. Close. But Ochoa in the third."

Tess: "29-28 Christina after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Christina in that quarter crouch looking to get to middle distances. Gemma jabbing, trying to get the geometry she wants. When Arterton's getting that jab on, that's exactly what she's doing, but, when Ochoa can slip or block, she's changing the equation in her favor."

Tess: "Christina's corner has to be happy with what they've seen so far."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. No concern in the Front Street corner, though, because Gemma is Gemma and she's a known problem solver in the ring. Arterton jabbing. Christina trying to work past and GETTING DROPPED! Oh, that came right out of nowhere!"

Cassie: "Ochoa never saw it coming, that's for sure!"

O'Dell: "Christina down on her right side after a BLISTERING straight right hand. Gemma to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Ochoa rolling to her belly at six. Seven. Eight. Trying to push to all fours but sinking back to the canvas. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Gravesend Gladiator', Gemma Arterton!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch..."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Gemma Arterton, and, Gems, she was tricky early..."

Gemma (nodding): "Yeah, she likes mid-range stuff. I like to box at range. So, I needed to get my distance. When I did that, it was just a matter of time."

Tess: "Several girls in the Front Street lightweight division that are pushing toward that title this year..."

Gemma: "Sure are. And, I'm right at the front of the line."
