Melissa Fumero vs Stephanie Beatriz

So, tonight we have 2 Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-stars fighting one another, for the chance of joining a stable. Both Melissa Fumero and Stephanie Beatriz have had 1 fight each, and both lost their respective fights. However, Melissa Fumero did last longer in a fight against a much tougher opponent, so she may well have the edge against Stephanie in this match. A reporter calls both of the talented fighters in for a pre fight interview.

Reporter: So, obviously you're both co-stars on B99, how is that gonna affect your match?
Beatriz: It's not. I don't care if my opponent is one of best friends, or my arch rival, i'm beating her down the exact same way.
Fumero: Gonna try, at least.
Beatriz and Fumero laugh, but there is a awkward tone in there.
Reporter: So, have you guys ever sparred, or fought before?
Beatriz: Uh, I don't think so,
Fumero: We've had some good arm-wrestling matches but we've never actually sparred.
Reporter: So... who won these armwrestling matches?
Beatriz: I mean, a couple of years ago, all of us on set were arm wrestling, and uh, when me and Melissa wrestled I thrashed her, easily.
Fumero: Oh come on, you're forgetting about the time I challenged you, and I beat you in front of the entire cast.
Reporter: Why don't you both just arm wrestle now, because it is already 1-1 apparently.
Beatriz: I'm cool with that
Fumero: Let's go
Beatriz and Fumero kneel down in front of the coffee table, and lock hands, gripping each other tightly, and begin. Beatriz seems to be winning, Fumero is giving it her all, but Beatriz has her beat, as her hand hits the table.
Reporter: And Beatriz wins,
Fumero: Well, at least i'm winning the actual match.
Beatriz: We'll see.

Round 1
So the 2 women rush straight out of the gate. No jabs, no hooks, just straight up bombs being thrown. Fumero is lighting Beatriz up with these hands. Beatriz retreating, trying to create some distance with jabs, but Fumero is unrelenting, smashing those hands into the face of Beatriz. Beatriz locks into the clinch, trying to stop, and the 2 women struggle around the ring, each trying to outmuscle and overpower the other. Beatriz is winning this exchange, and dominating Fumero. The round ends with Beatriz clutching onto a squirming Fumero.

Round 2
Fumero and Beatriz come out swinging, both unsatisfied with the previous round, Beatriz dodging, waiting for her openings to strike, while Fumero is flat out trying to powerhouse her way to victory. Fumero misses a huge overhand, and Beatriz slams her left fist into the head of Fumero! Fumero is rocked, and stumbling, Beatriz is stepping forward, and letting the fists of fury wreak havoc! Fumero backs up into a corner, doing all in her might to stay on her feet, but Beatriz is unrelenting, and the ref stops the fight! Stephanie Beatriz defeats Melissa Fumero with a TKO in the second round.

Analysis:
Analyst 1: Well, that was unexpected.
Analyst 2: Definitely, I didn't expect Beatriz to win, let alone in the second round.
Analyst 1: Maybe Fumero got too cocky, didn't think Beatriz packed a punch?
Analyst 2: Yeah, Beatriz learnt and adapted from the first round, Fumero just went the exact same way, and you can't even dream about doing that in the FCBA.
Analyst 1: So, who do you think will get signed?
Analyst 2: We've only seen 2 fights in the trials, but out of those 2, ScarJo had a riot of a fight, and Beatriz may have gotten lucky, I think Beatriz might get a call back for a second fight though, maybe.
