PETRA NEMCOVA vs IZABEL GOULART
Petra:

BEFORE:
“Hmphh. I lose one fight and everyone wants a shot at me, is that it?” Petra lamenting to reporters before her fight. “Izabel looks good on paper, but need I remind you all that I’ve nine fights now under my belt. What does the Brazilian have under hers? Zero.”

Bold words from the former title contender, whose shock lost to Joan Smalls months ago certainly a fight for the ages. Petra’s next bout meant to be a tune-up for greater things to come, but of course her opponent has something to say about that.

“It’s true that it’s my first rodeo in the ring tonight,” Izabel commenting with a smile, whilst looking ravishing in her black laced lingerie set. “I know I have to be careful for Petra’s power, but I would urge her not to discount my chances of winning. Look what happened when she discounted Joan the last time round?”

That does it - Petra pissed off and starts striding towards Goulart’s corner, jabbing her finger in the Brazilian’s chest and spouting more challenging words into her face. Izabel holding her ground, welcoming the Czech model with open arms, before sending a SLAP! straight into her face before lunging straight at her hair. CATFIGHT, ladies and gentlemen, as Petra shrieks back and tackles Izabel to the ground, both women flailing and slapping at the head and body, looking for some purchase.

Ring officials quickly dissolving the carnage, separating the two models and making sure they don’t lunge back at each other again. Later, both women are herded to their corners and make ready for the official throwdown. Referee asks rhetorically if they’re ready to fight, and HERE we go with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1:

There’s the opening bell and the newcomer surprising everyone with some efficient speed for her age group. Petra perhaps the one who’s the most underprepared as Izabel utilises those long legs to close the distance fast and SLAP a right hand straight into her nostrils! How’s THAT for a welcoming party, eh? The blonde too shocked to respond initially, immediately brings her defences to bear and blocks the subsequent punches as Izabel continues to hammer away. However, Petra not one who’s known to retreat, BANGS right back with a few hooks grazing the cheek and chin as well. These two Amazon princesses just throwing down in close quarters, hoping to score points when they’re fresh and the feelings of animosity still burning strong. Round ends and Izabel taking this  one with her early aggression tactics, successfully putting the Siren on edge and driving her backwards a couple of times during these three minutes.

ROUND 2:

Petra cursing under her breath mid-round at being bullied so easily. Some parts of her face already reddened from the brush of leather and scrapping. Izabel on the other with a wide grin on her face, roaring to get back in there despite also suffering from similar injuries. Goulart springing forward at Petra yet again at the bell. This time, even though Petra’s better prepared, her swings into Izabel’s guard and body seem to have little effect on the newcomer’s enthusiasm, and Izabel manages to get in close enough to chop more punches into the blonde’s, before even snapping the head upwards with a sneaky uppercut that Petra didn’t see coming. The big blonde is dazed, for sure, but seems to be more irritated than hurt, merely shaking the pain from her jaw and then blasting a right hand straight down the middle of Izabel’s guard, forcing her to back away a couple of steps. The Brazilian has zeal and fire, no doubt, but her punches seem to lack venom at this point, with Petra still a magnificent lioness ignoring the scratches and clawmarks that only seem skin-deep.

ROUND 3:

Still, that’s not gonna discourage Izabel from trying her best: indeed, here she comes again, circling the blonde like she’s some elderly woman, jabbing at the head and body and landing on occasion. Petra can’t keep up with her opponent’s speed, biding her time to land that perfect hook that might very well end the fight right here and now. Izabel been warned, but she has that cocky look in her eye, especially when she peppers the belly in quick succession, drawing a deep grunt and retreat from Nemcova, who appears hurt all of a sudden. Overjoyed and eager, Izabel giving chase, continuing to shoot hands into the body as Petra struggles to cover up. Petra’s back hitting the ropes and there’s nowhere else for her to go! Izabel slamming her body inwards with a SPLAT, and the two women struggle for control with arms and legs getting entangled. Izabel using a knee to control her foe’s legs, slamming upwards into the blonde’s thighs and drawing further moans from her lips. Goulart not done, however, burying more right hands into Petra’s belly, slowly chopping away at that midriff like a woodcutter felling a mighty tree trunk. Izabel complacent however, assumes that Petra’s helpless in this state. The blonde’s arms still working, slowly shoving at shoulders to create distance up top, then RAMMING her fist into Izabel’s shocked face over and over again, blinding her with pain. Panicked, Goulart goes scrambling backwards, throwing up her guard expecting a full-on  assault. But Petra left panting on the ropes from the body abuse herself, and the bell rings before either girl can push her advantage.

ROUND 4:

Izabel stunned from that last exchange, spends this round trying to find that same opening to attack. She lunges forward periodically, prodding at Petra’s defences, particularly aiming for the body again and assuming that that’s her weak spot. Petra calm, collected, blocking and parrying the incoming blows alike. She’s slowly crowding out the Brazilian’s space to move without her realising it, advancing one step at a time like a lioness hunting a spritely gazelle. Izabel of course is almost as tall and well-built as the blonde, but the rookie doesn’t realise her mistake until it’s too late and the head-hunting starts. Big shots now landing on the side of her head as Izabel covers up with her hasty guard, trying to weather the blows. But from experience, all of us know it’s only a matter of time. Goulart actually doing an okay job, getting buffeted on her feet but troubling Petra with return shots into her chin and nostrils intermittently as well. Result is Petra can’t quite land that coveted haymaker that would seal her the deal this round. Bell rings and though she’s clearly taken this round for herself, she knows she can’t keep up this pace forever and has to put the brunette away fast.

ROUND 5:

Izabel a fast learner, opens the round circling Petra constantly, refusing to let herself get trapped like that previously. Bad news for Petra? Who was relying on her steady hands and feet to again force the rookie into making an error. Izabel shooting punches from afar, intending to overwhelm the blonde little by little. She lands a quick combo into the chest and upper belly, drawing another painful grunt from Petra’s lips. The blonde flinching backwards, and Izabel decides it’s time to fly in. Again with another body slam, she looks to shove Petra backwards into the ropes and deliver more punishment to the body. What she doesn’t count on however is Petra standing her ground, welcoming her with arms wide open! YELP of surprise - Izabel’s immobilized for a moment as Petra wraps her arms around her waist and chest, SPINS her around 180 degrees and BLASTS an uppercut straight into the chin, sending her flying back into the ropes instead! UGHH. Petra now having her victim where she wants her to be: trapped against the ropes and with nowhere to run. Izabel quickly regaining her composure, but her guard falling apart from the rapid pounding of lefts and rights as Petra puts her back into each punch this time. Finally, her forearms are BLASTED apart, head swivelled to the side as the haymaker lands, knocking the Brazilian off her feet and down to the ground! KNOCKDOWN for Petra Nemcova!!

ROAR from the spectators as well as the blonde warrior, pumping her arms as she walks over Izabel’s fallen frame back to corner. The referee beginning the countout, but Izabel’s body shaking in pain and weariness, barely making it back up to all fours before crashing back down in a heap, knocked out completely! This fight is over!!

Official Decision: Petra Nemcova defeats Izabel Goulart via KO5!


AFTER:

“She thought she could take me on,” Petra huffing at reporters post-fight, a big smile on her face. “Well, she thought wrong. Good fight, honey. Let’s do it again someday.” She addresses Goulart directly through the fawning cameras, before blowing a kiss in her general direction.

Goulart recovering in her own corner, looking disappointed but very much still alive and plotting her next move. Only great things expected from this rookie in the future - she may be turning a corner in terms of age, but we’d bet she still has a place reserved for her for many a stable in this arena.
