It was bound to happen. For the first time I can remember since I started doing the predictions, I ended up under water. I went 2-3. It’s good though. After having a great record for so long, it is humbling and brings one back down to earth.

In the opening bout of the night between two rookies, I picked the one with the height advantage. Bad choice. Roberts the smaller of the two won by a KO.

I also missed on the Winnick/Kim Kardashian bout. I went with Winnick even though she lacked the experience. I thought she would win simply because Kardashian is a poor fighter. That didn’t work out since Kardashian walked away with a win. We are awarding Winnick a “I was KOed by Kim” T shirt. Wear it proudly Kathryn.

The Paige/Cornish proved to be a major disaster for the Doll House. I am working on a column will suggest that fighters with records like Cornish be banned from further activity in the FCBA. Paige’s record was not good going into this fight In Boxing Worlds last rankings, Paige was generously ranked at 78. You can kiss that ranking good bye Paige’s defeat gives the Doll House a good opportunity to say adios.

Bella Thorne defeated Steinfeld as expected. I was amused by the quote from Doll House “Bella Thorne as she and the rest of the Dolls continue to take the FCBA by storm” I bet that is big news to the rest of the stables.

Finally Avril won the main event by beating Grande by a KO in five. Unfortunately her win was somewhat diminished by her post fight conduct. I note once again the Doll House publicity department was working overtime by suggesting that was another “big win”. I would suggest that it is impossible to get a “big win” by beating Grande.
