(Fates Boxing vs Girls Friday)

Intro:
Tonight Brie Larson and Kaya Scodelario fight for the first time in their careers, both coming off title loses, so they are highly motivated to get back into the winners circle.

Brie is 30 years old; she stands 5'7, holding a record of 14 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 6 defeats.

Kaya is 28 years old; she stands 5'6, holding a record of 40 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 10 defeats, she is a former FCBA bantamweight champion.

As said both women lost their last fights to the bantamweight champion Evangeline Lily, neither taking their foot off the gas pedal it seems as they fight another title contender now.

Alicia Atout gets a few words from the fighters in front of the FCBA badge on a white wall in the interview area, first Brie is standing there wearing a red tracksuit with her hands wrapped in tape already.

"As you know I needed to take last month off from the PPV, I sat in the locker room supporting my stablemates, on that night I saw Kaya suffer the same fate as me against Evangeline, I know I can take her down tonight" says Brie with a serious look compared to her normally excited demeanor.

Clenching her fists, Brie continues "I've heard Kaya has been dismissive of me since the fight was announced, well Kaya I can assure you that you'll learn to respect me after tonight" nodding to Alicia before she heads off to her locker room.

Kaya now heads to the interview area, patting Alicia on her shoulder before turning to the camera with a grin, she says "so Brie is crying that I don't respect her I here, she is lucky we were not together now or I'd show her why I care so little about her"

Turning back to Alicia, Kaya says "my goal is always about working my way to the mountain top, Evangeline knows she was lucky to beat me, I am sick of falling short for the titles, Brie is just going to be the first stone I step on" she thanks Alicia for the time.

Fighting time; out steps Brie with her coach behind her, Brie steps down the aisle with a focused look, a need to prove a point clearly on her mind as her fans cheer her on.

She is wearing a blue sports bra with red and gold trim like her Ms Marvel costume, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves, her blonde hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring with her coach telling her to make tonight all about her, Brie nodding as she hits the top turnbuckle, picturing her opponent as she warms up.

Out comes Kaya with Hilary Swank and Eva Carneiro behind her, Kaya marches down the aisle with eyes locked onto the ring, banging her gloves together.

She is wearing a black sports bra, black trunks with gold pinstripes, her surname is on the waistband in gold with a gold star under it, black shoes, black gloves with gold thumbs, her hair is tied back into a fighting ponytail.

Getting into the ring, Kaya posed at the ring center with her arms out at her side, exchanging insults with Brie as Hilary pulls Kaya back to her corner where she tells her to be focused, maybe still hungover on her defeat to Evangeline last month.

The referee brings the fighters together, where neither exchanges words now, just looking tense as they stare into the others eyes, fire in their eyes.

When told to touch gloves, neither does as no respect yet between these two, instead they jog straight back to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell they come out their corners with stern expressions, trading jabs and straights as they move up on their toes for first moments of the round.

They both nearly bump heads as they step inside to throw a right, letting their hands go on the inside, it is Brie winning the early exchanges with her looking to have the more power.

Kaya is forced to step back, she jams a double jab into the face of Brie, keeping Ms Marvel back as she starts moving side to side, keeping Brie at range with her straight shots.

When Brie tries to close the gap, she eats a left across her cheek and a straight to force her back to the outside, showing off her hand speed and boxing IQ to read Brie's movements.

In the final minute Kaya misses with a jab and eats a right to her body, an overhand left smacks her to her cheek, making Scodelario need to back off.

Both women let their hands go trying to win the round, Kaya steps back out the way of a right cross, drilling a double jab into the nose of Larson to knock her head back.

The round ends with Kaya grinning as she returns to her corner, Hilary telling her good job but she needs to keep her guard tight, knowing Brie is going to come hard at her.

Round 2:
Circling at the center of the ring, Kaya is looking to push back Brie early with a double jab, slamming them into the cheeks of Larson, moving back the American to the outside of the ring.

A missed straight though leaves Scodelario open to a counter uppercut, her head is knocked back as Brie pushes her back to the center of the ring.

Kaya getting a taste of what Brie brings to the table, slipping a right hand to hammer in two left hooks to the body of the Brit, knocking back Kaya to the ropes now with a follow up two punches to her face.

Tightening up her guard, Kaya tries to block the hard punches from the Marvel star, several get through and she ends up clinching up with Brie to slow her down, the referee breaking them apart.

Final moments of the round sees Kaya lean out the way of a left cross from Brie, a straight smacks Larson on her mouth, getting away from the ropes as Kaya finishes strong.

At the end of the round Brie gets a nod from her coach, told to tighten up her punches if she is going to keep on top of things, Brie nodding in reply.

Round 3:
Stepping towards each other with stern stares, Brie landing a crisp double jab to the top of Kaya's head, looking to box her way more to the inside.

Back heads Kaya as she moves towards the ropes, Brie coming after her with a straight that Kaya moves to the left, LANDING AN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS BRIE ONTO HER BACKSIDE!

Smirking as she heads to the neutral corner, Kaya enjoying that knockdown, 1...2...3...4.. Brie punching the canvas as she shakes her head to clear any cobwebs, 5....6... Pulling herself to a knee with the ropes, 7...8.. Getting to her feet with Brie banging her gloves together.

Coming back together to fight, Brie fighting more defensive as seems to have lost a little confidence, Kaya picking her punches to the cheeks of the American.

Who does catch Scodelario to her cheeks with a left cross, a straight into the face of Kaya to press her to the outside of the ring, looking like she wants to get back on the front foot.

The round comes to an end with Brie looking up at the ceiling, Kaya smiles as she feels like she can now put down Brie when she wants, Hilary needing to keep her from getting too excited and making a mistake.

Round 4:
Coming out her corner looking to press the action more, Kaya is landing several punches into the cheeks of Brie, who is landing cross punches as she tries to keep the Brit back.

A straight onto the mouth of Brie opens her up to a left cross, Brie finding herself pressed back to the ropes, with her needing to cover up as Kaya tries to smash her face in.

When two uppercuts land to her body, Brie pulls Kaya into a clinch, both grapple along the ropes as they grind foreheads, the referee breaks them apart.

Next time Kaya tries to land an uppercut, she gets hit with a right across her lips, a left opens a cut on Kaya's lip, Brie knocking back her opponent to the center of the ring.

Nearly clashing heads as they trade in close, barks and groans escape both fighters lips, Brie landing an uppercut late in the round as she gets on top of things just as the bell rings to end the round.

Returning to their corners, Kaya gets her cut lip cleaned up, while Brie gets her cheeks worked on as there is swelling forming around them, both starting to show damage now.

Round 5:
Continuing to step after Brie, hoping to beat her back towards the ropes, Kaya lands a few glancing blows as Brie seems be getting back to her best.

Especially as thirty seconds in Brie ducks a right hook, coming up with an overhand left to the jaw, THEN A RIGHT HOOK SENDS KAYA DOWN TO HER BACK!

Plenty of stunned faces in the Girls Friday corner, Brie stepping over Kaya as she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Kaya turning to her front and all fours, staring daggers at Larson, 5....6... She blinks rapidly to clear her head, 7...8.. Getting up with a little wobble to her feet.

Kaya is allowed to continue and here comes Brie, swinging hooks in as she looks to end it now, it is scruffy as Kaya tries to fire back before she pulls Brie into a clinch, both nearly tumble through the middle ropes.

Separated by the referee, Brie is definitely smelling blood, landing several crisp punches across Kaya's face to knock her towards a corner, where again she holds on.

While is Brie is winning this round, Kaya is doing her best to defend herself and even land some nice punches across the chin of the American.

The round comes to a close with Brie pumping her right fist into the air, a massive round for the Fates team, Brie getting wiped down with a sponge as her coach tells her "the momentum is shifting, you have this!"

Round 6:
Moving back to the ring center with anger across their faces, they trade straight punches through the others guard to faces, sweat flying off as feet are being planted more.

Ducking under a right, Kaya showing she isn't too badly hurt, barking out as she lands three body hooks in, Brie wincing as she backs up and drills a straight into the top of Kaya's head.

Back and forth goes the action, till Brie is able to land a jab on the nose of Kaya, then an uppercut that knocks back Scodelario to her heels.

The power of Brie on show as she bullies back Kaya into a corner, with Kaya tightening her guard up, Brie starts swinging hooks into the ribs and to ears of Kaya to make her grimace.

Landing a double jab out her guard, Kaya tries to force her way out the corner, ending up wrestling as they nearly bump heads, the referee needing to step in once more to drag them apart.

Seconds left in the round sees both trading cross punches with Kaya leaning out the way of one to land a straight to the mouth of Larson just at the bell.

Sitting on their stools looking sore, corner teams working hard to keep their fighters going, with Kaya getting told she needs to find another gear, the Girls Friday crew know that Brie is on the rise.

Round 7:
Kaya is trying to get back at Brie, moving her upper body more and throwing feints, trying to find a way to get back on top of this fight as they move around the center of the ring.

Stepping in with a right to the body, Kaya misses as Brie steps to the side and lands a right hook to the temple, Kaya stumbles back a few steps as Brie charges her.

This time Brie landing clean with two uppercuts that rocks Kaya into the ropes, A LEFT HOOK SMACKS ACROSS KAYA'S FACE, SENDING HER SLIDING DOWN THE ROPES WITH HER GUMSHIELD COMING OUT ONTO HER CHEST!

"Woo!" Brie yells as she looks to have loved that punch, 1...2...3... Kaya has her neck on the bottom rope as her eyes shut, 4...5....6... Still no movement from Kaya as her corner look down at their feet, 7...8...9...10 that is it for Kaya!

Winner Brie Larson KO Round 7

After:
An ecstatic Brie leans on the turnbuckles in the neutral corner, she overcomes the tough Kaya in a hell of a back and forth war, her power proving the difference.

Jogging back to her corner, Brie is met by a big hug from her coach, who tells her how proud of her for coming back from being down, Brie beaming as she gets washed down and gloves off.

While Kaya is woken up by Hilary using smelling salts, she is helped to sit up as she looks close to tears, Hilary trying to console her along with Eva, with Kaya punching the canvas in frustration at thrown away her chance at winning earlier in the fight.

Helped up to her feet, Kaya still looks wobbly on her feet, Hilary acting like a crutch to get Kaya back to her stool, where she can recover with Eva helping her.

When both women are ready they come to the center of the ring, Kaya mumbles "bytch" as Brie gets her hand raised by the referee, the winner pumping her other fist in the air as her fans chant her name.

Getting helped through the ropes, Kaya heads to the back looking angry, Hilary let's her fighter stew as she knows it isn't the time to talk to her yet, Eva looking worried for her friend.

Inside the ring the mood is much brighter, Larson poses for the cameras with her arms flexed, a big grin on her face as the crowd is chanting her name, a lot of love for the popular actress.

She blows kisses to the crowd before stepping out the ring, Brie fist bumping several people in the front row on her way up the aisle, she is on the right path to becoming a champion.
