BEFORE:

"Yes," says Gaga with a smile, "I lost the first time around. But, I'm excited about this rematch, especially because it's JMD."

"Glad to hear she's excited," says Ariel with a smile of her own. "But, that excitement is going to be short-lived."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Edge of Glory' you hear behind us, and..."

McCarthy: "THIS IS RIDICULOUS! If it wasn't bad ENOUGH that I had to be subjected to Decker's stupid entrance for all those years, now we've got THIS tomato can being CARRIED to the ring by BEARERS..."

Cassie: "Six well-muscled, shirtless bearers..."

McCarthy: "I CAN SEE THAT! IT'S RIDICULOUS!"

O'Dell (sighing): "That, of course, is Lady Gaga being carried to ringside. Crowd giving the blonde beauty quite the reception. She's now lowered to the ground and climbs into the ring to be helped off with the robe. Looking PLENTY good in that leopard print number we've seen before. And, that's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' pounding through the arena. And, of course, that's not the Taylor Swift original, but the cover version by the lady on her way to the ring right now, Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

Tess: "Winter definitely with her eyes on the flyweight gold, and, if she's going to get a chance at the straps in 2020, she needs to come up with a 'W' tonight."

O'Dell: "Ariel into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's looking mighty good in that curve-hugging white number we've seen before. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Ariel. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Gaga is FULL of herself! Winter!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell, and in JMD fashion, ladies getting after it early. Winter right in Gaga's grill digging body and Lady G firing back in kind. Nothing subtle about any of this. Both ladies just going after their respective opponents, banging away upstairs, then going down to work tummy, ribs, and, of course, RACK..."

Tess: "This isn't a battle a lot of flyweights are going to win against someone like Winter..."

O'Dell: "But, that's what Gaga's got to do, and, it's not gong all that well. Brunette backing up the blonde, forcing her to cover up, working her over with hard shot both upstairs and down. Gaga's game. She's firing back hard, but she's coming off second best at the moment..."

McCarthy: "NEITHER of these girls know how to fight JMD. Winter, at least, has an excuse. Horrible trainers!"

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in the first. Ariel backing Gaga up again. Blonde clinching, Winter shoving off and DIGGING into that rack! Gaga grimacing, clinching again, and this time the ref coming in to break the ladies apart at the bell. Not close in the first. Winter."

Cassie: "And, she's up 10-9."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Ladies banging inside again as we start the second. Gaga getting even more aggressive now, holding canvas stubbornly, not letting the younger brunette back her up. Instead, she's stabilized her front and she's giving as good as she gets in there at the moment."

Cassie: "Determination is what that is. You just decide that she's not backing you up anymore."

O'Dell: "And, that's apparently what Gaga has decided. She's tenacious in there, responding to every flurry from Winter with one of her own. Not a lot in it in this stanza as a result. GOOD left hook by Lady G and Ariel responds by digging some more body. An awful lot of tenderizing going on in there."

Tess: "Both bodies starting to pink up already."

O'Dell: "Just fifteen to go in the stanza. Sharp right from Gaga and that backed Ariel up a step. Winter stepping right back to and digging some more midsection, before banging a right hook into Gaga's rack. Lady G responds with some hup-hup to Ariel's jugs and there's the bell. Close. Gaga."

McCarthy: "Which makes us even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Ladies bringing the leather again in the third. It's all about banging to the body right now. There's some work taking place upstairs, but, mostly, the gloves are landing on ribs, tummy, and rack, and both fighters have to be feeling it at this point. But. Nobody's taking a backward step."

McCarthy: "This stuff is going to start adding up, though."

O'Dell: "No doubt about that. Both fighters already wincing on some of these shots, and we've got a long way to go in this one. Gaga a nice uppercut to the chin that backed Ariel up a step, but Winter right back in her grill hooking the ribs and then the rack. Ladies fall into a clinch, and the ref will break them."

Cassie: "'Break' is the operative word here. Sooner or later, someone is going to break."

O'Dell: "Most likely, but it hasn't happened yet, and it's not looking like happening any time soon. Both flyweights resolute, working hard inside, the main thrust going to the body, but still plenty of hard shot landing to the head as well. There's the bell ending another close round. Winter."

Tess: "And Ariel's back up by one, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "We have seen no change in terms in this one, and it doesn't look like we're going to. Both ladies fine with banging inside, working body, head, rack. Thumping away with both hands. Nothing sloppy, though. Fighters playing good defense, especially for a JMD bout..."

Cassie: "No question about it. Blocking well. Also setting up punches well."

O'Dell: "For the third round in a row, not a lot in it. Both fighters getting work done and neither able to create a lot of space as far as points are concerned. Good right hook Gaga and WINTER HURTS HER WITH A LEFT HOOK! Gaga staggered and DROPPED BY A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "I don't sing like Cassie, but this party may be over..."

O'Dell: "Ariel to a neutral corner. Gaga down on her back, staring, wide eyed at the referee. Count at three. Four. Five. Gaga not moving, just staring blankly. Nobody home at the moment. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Gaga still down and out of it as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

McCarthy: "A little lucky, but I'm HAPPY about it!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Ariel Winter, and, Ariel, you were as aggressive as I've seen you in there..."

Ariel (nodding): "Well, it's JMD, so, that's the name of the game. Besides, I like to get in there and go body. If you're willing to do that with me, all the better. Because, you aren't going to win."

O'Dell: "I know you've got gold on your mind this year..."

Ariel (smiling): "Oh, yes. Didn't manage to seal the deal the first time, but, the second time's going to be a charm. Count on that."
