1. Alyssa Lynch vs Chanel Stewart

Alyssa:

BEFORE:
This fight's been on the radar ever since Chanel made her VIX debut all the way back in February of last year, where she put away Sarah Ellen in six rounds. Of course, Alyssa Lynch not looking too impressed from her seat at the press table, a smirk on her face as she addresses the reporters in the hall below:

“There’s a reason why Caspian didn’t end up signing Stewart: We’ve already got a brunette wonder on the team, and there ain’t no space for another Bantamweight. I have a feeling they made the right decision by sticking with me, Kyra and Emily. Myself, for example - I’d just challenged Dobrev for the Bantamweight title that year, then beat Alexis’ ass in that stupid tournament. Now, do the rest of you really think Stewart could have kept up with me?”

“Honey, you almost won the belt. But you didn’t make the cut either, did you?” Chanel replies immediately, in a strong Australian accent. “Just like how you tried to get into the modelling and acting scene, but instead landed up here.”

Alyssa is seen steaming at the other end of the table but is unable to respond. Stewart continues:

“I got a few contract offers after my debut, for sure, but I was too busy building up my Youtube channel and of course, actually walking down a few catwalks. Tonight though, I’m back to pick up the gloves and prove that I can do equally well in the ring.”

Ladies go nose-to-nose at the podium, Alyssa suddenly shoving Chanel by the shoulders and then receiving a hard push to her own chest as well. Ladies almost leap at each other anew but the referee manages to get in between them to preserve the actual fighting for later. Chanel comes in a little shorter in terms of height but both ladies are the same weight and built, so we’ll be eager to see what happens!

Hours later, they’re in the ring and ready to go in their respective corners. Lynch in a tan-orange bikini, black gloves on either hand and brown hair tied up into a neat ponytail. Chanel going for a dark sports bra and grey tights, cut off at the middle of her thighs. She’s bouncing on her toes and sporting a pair of blue gloves. Referee waves a hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Some stiff cuffing across the face as both ladies get into the action fast: eager beavers close in too close for comfort and then start wailing away on each other in the opening seconds. Alyssa is still jabbing at Chanel’s head, a slower start when compared to Chanel’s hard hook that lands off her face. The Vixen gets bullied in there from the difference in styles: Alyssa too used to footwork and mitts whereas Chanel moving and swinging like a street brawler would, landing haphazard shots all over the arms and body. Of course, the crowd is on either side of the fence, a mixture of boos and cheers as they shout encouragement to both these girls. Alyssa finally manages to circle out of the way at the last minute, but by then, it’s a little too late to salvage this round. She’s rubbing her cheek in annoyance, conceding the first round to Stewart, who’s pumping her arms in victory and shooting Alyssa a smirk on her way back to corner.

ROUND 2:
More disastrous tactics for Lynch as she finds herself in the firm crosshairs of the stockier, stronger woman. Chanel keeps her cool and uses Lynch’s jitters to block incoming jabs before letting rip wide flushes to the Vixen’s arms or crashing into the side of her head, continuously rattling the leaner but supposedly more agile Lynch. Alyssa’s finally had enough in the middle minute, however, goes into full retreat mode and falls back on her jabbing hands. All Chanel has to do here is slowly build the pressure on her foe, her arms locked low and intercepting the attacks, whilst also trying to score another big blow to Alyssa’s face in order to force it to kiss the canvas. But that doesn’t happen, with Lynch being damned before she gets knocked down by a mere rookie in the second round. Chanel takes some precision shots to her face in the final seconds, but otherwise ends the round with another wide margin.

ROUND 3:
Two rounds down and Lynch looks almost like a fish out of water in this fight. But not this time: Vixen flies into overdrive as she circles Chanel with speed, and makes her pay her own pound of flesh with jabs pestering the arms and face, almost suffocating the newcomer. Stewart too eager to prove her dominance in the last two rounds, went running after Lynch and got her face lit up by fast and accurate jabs instead. Alyssa’s just refusing to get caught in a twist like last time, evading Chanel’s lumbering swings with smooth weaves of her torso or leaps to the side. Stewart left groggy and breathing hard by the end of this round, after taking another stiff shot straight to the chin and almost falling over backwards if she didn’t have the ropes to cling onto. Alyssa remains patient from a distance, which pays off this time when the bell rings and gives her the round wide back.

ROUND 4:
Apart from an early foolish endeavour which saw both girls trading leather to the face in tandem, Alyssa successfully manages to get away after ducking under a lunging hook from Stewart before slamming a hook of her own into the brunette’s breadbasket. Chanel grunts out loud, but responds immediately, drawing a pained growl from Alyssa with a swing of a gut-shot of her own into the tummy. Lynch’s reminded she can’t possibly hang and bang with this woman, goes back to circling and shooting at Stewart from afar. Chanel however still looks pumped, makes the same mistake of chasing after her foe, thinking Alyssa’s wounded or something. End of the round sees both ladies winded and snarling at each other from across the room.

ROUND 5:
Close first minute as Chanel initiates a charge out of the blue, hoping to corner Alyssa and end things right there. Alyssa partially surprised, desperately fending off wild punches as she covers up her body and head but gets blown to the side from one of Chanel’s hooks, her tummy then taking a hard thump or two as Stewart goes searching south. But Lynch’s counterattack also catches the rookie by surprise: a swift right hook flush lands flush on the cheek before another left hand’s shoved into her chin. Dazed, Chanel takes a couple steps back before meaning to resume her attack. But Alyssa’s NOT done yet! Surly brunette rushes in after her foe, double-pump shotgun shots into her face and then UP into the chin! AND DOWN STEWART GOES!! That rapid combination making her see stars as she COLLAPSES onto her back!! Referee by her side in an instant, performing the 10-count but Chanel’s barely propped up by her elbows, her chest rising and falling as she barely makes it off her back! There goes the sound of the bell!

Official Decision: Alyssa Lynch defeats Chanel Stewart via KO5!

AFTER:
Congratulations in order to Ms Lynch, who has slowly but surely clawed her way back into the winning column, with everyone in recent days planning her own retirement party without her consent.

Lynch has choice words for her fallen adversary, sauntering over to Stewart by the ropes and then proceeding to drag her up by the hair. From her vantage point, she hisses some final words down into Stewart’s face, Stewart powerless and clawing at the Vixen’s thighs and bikini briefs until she’s finally shoved roughly back down to the ground.

The first loss of one’s career may always be the hardest, but we have no doubt that Chanel will bounce back one day!
