(The Fighting Academy vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Next up here in the world famous MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Karlie Kloss and Robyn Lawley meet for the first ever time, two lanky fighters with different styles.

Karlie is 27 years old; she stands 5'11, her record stands at 18 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 14 defeats, she is the first ever New Blood welterweight tournament winner.

Robyn is 30 years old; she stands 6'2, holding a record of 11 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 7 defeats.

The fighters were interviewed in their locker rooms, Alicia Atout working for the FCBA Network steps into the Fighting Academy locker room, seeing Karlie working the punch pads as she warms up.

Coach Kelly Hu let's Karlie have a moment to talk to Alicia, she jokes "it is funny to think at one time you could have called me miss fight night live amount I used to be on these shows, I missed these so I am glad to be back"

Changing the subject to the fight at hand, Karlie admits "Robyn is going to be a hell of a task to overcome, her height along with her deceptive speed of her fists will give me trouble, I have to accept that if I am to work out how to beat her" Kelly nodding at the assessment.

"But I feel like I've got the game plan to beat her, Kelly and me went through her fights, you'll see soon enough what we came up with, I need tonight to be the rebirth of my career as I want to be a champion" Karlie finishes with as she stares at her gloves, almost as if telling herself that these are what will lead her back to being a contender.

In the Lawley locker room goes Alicia next, seeing Robyn getting her hands tapped, the lanky model is roughly the same height as Alicia is where she sits, making Robyn look up and down the interviewer with a friendly grin.

Asked how she is feeling, Robyn says with a chuckle "well it has been annoying being used as a punch bag the past few months, funny how I lost management and everyone wants a piece of me, where were they when I had the backing of a stable"

Patting her coach on the shoulder, Robyn continues "now I hope I've found a coach who will lead me back in the right direction, of course I need to do the hard work myself, that's why I need to defeat Karlie" Alicia nods as she listens to Robyn be honest with herself.

"Anyway Karlie might be good but she isn't great, I'm going to bulldoze her out my way as I am not simply waiting for another stable, if Charlotte frickin Flair can be in the top twenty then so can I" standing up as Alicia's eyes nearly pop out her head seeing how tall Robyn is in person, both laugh as Robyn tells Alicia "you are OK with me around, nobody will bug you" winking before Atout leaves.

Fighting time; out comes Karlie with her coach Kelly, she takes a deep breath before beginning her walk down the aisle, she is smiling as she looks at home in the sold out arena.

She is wearing a red sports bra with white stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, red shoes, while her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring, Karlie waves to her fans before she gets into fight mode, limbering up as her Kelly is telling her to keep loose and use those skills that got her into being a contender.

Now comes Robyn with her coach beside her, the towering Aussie heads down the aisle thudding her gloves together, as if playing a drum beat of doom for Kloss.

She steps into the ring wearing a navy blue sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, while her hair is tied back also into a ponytail, Robyn blowing a kiss to her fans before going through her warm up.

It is a rare sight to see Karlie looking up at someone, right now she is as Robyn smirks looking down on her, the crowd showing love for both fighters.

Ordered to touch gloves, there is no malice as they bump them into their opponent's, returning to their corners, they are ready to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out their corners they show a different look to the other, Karlie more mobile on her toes, while Robyn more flat footed, fists up to her chin as she stalks Kloss around the outside of the ring.

Darting inside as she ducks down, Karlie is landing stiff jabs and straights to abs to start, wanting to chop down Lawley by the looks of it, taking a few cuffing punches around the top of her head to do so.

A double jab smacks Karlie to the top of her head as she looks to come inside this time, Robyn starting to back her up to the ropes with straight punches into the forehead of the American.

Who smartly holds onto Robyn's right arm to stop any big hooks coming, referee needed to pry them apart as they press body to body, Robyn looking to be stronger.

Once apart Karlie is able to get back on the bike, landing more cleaner punches of the two, for her own height she is showing great upper body movement along with footwork to keep Robyn from bulldozing her.

At the end of the round Karlie gets a nod from Kelly, a good start to the fight for them, though Karlie got a little taste of the power in front of her, Robyn not looking too worried on her stool.

Round 2:
Karlie looking a silky operator as the round kicks off, proving a hard target for her opponent, while she hammers in some nice two punch combos to the body and jaw line of the bigger opponent.

Maybe a little overconfidence comes as she gets too near the ropes, Robyn smacks her square in the face with a right, landing a right to the body as Robyn steps inside.

Using her height and weight over Karlie, Robyn makes things uncomfortable for her, forcing her into hard hitting exchanges, Karlie needing to hold on when two rights smack across her face.

Pried apart by the referee, Karlie is able to drill in a nice double jab to the mouth of Robyn, not building off it as she decides to keep on the move, maybe a mistake as not land later Robyn smacks her to the face with a jab, a right cross following behind it to turn the younger woman's face to the side.

Needing to cover up as she is driven to the rope, Karlie has to be satisfied as she manages to blow several blows, ones that get through knock back the head of Kloss though.

At the bell it is Robyn returning to her corner with a small grin, feeling she can hurt Karlie if she can just pin her down, her coach wiping her down ad they tell her to shut the ring off.

Round 3:
Moving a little more on her toes as she looks to close the gap between them, Robyn has her eyes firmly on Karlie as they box around the ring, snapping in stiff jabs that have a nice thud to them.

Karlie dips down to land two hooks to the body, getting shoved back as Robyn scowls at her, pounding in a straight to the face of Kloss to pay her back.

It looks like Karlie is landing the better punches so far, she gets clipped with a left hook though in the second minute, AN UPPERCUT SENDS KARLIE ONTO HER BACKSIDE!

That's why Robyn is so feared, the speed and power of that right hand putting down Karlie, 1...2...3...4.. Who shakes her head as she looks at the referee, 5...6.. Getting to a knee, Karlie says she is OK, 7...8.. Getting to her feet with a nod to the referee.

It looks a flash knockdown, though Karlie has to stop a rampaging Lawley down, the Aussie getting several punches clean through to Karlie's beautiful face to rock her backwards.

Pulling Robyn into a clinch, Karlie looks relieved to have the break as the referee steps in to split them up, Karlie needing to rely on her defence in the final ten seconds of the round.

Which comes to a close with Robyn pumping her right fist in the air, her supporters yelling as she heads off back to her corner, Kelly on the other hand needing to work on Karlie to make sure she is fully awake for the next round.

Round 4:
Boxing more defensively with her jab, Karlie is trying to slow down the Juggernaut heading towards her, both getting in some good shots as they fight around the ring.

Robyn lands a double jab/straight combo to knock back the head of her opponent, backing her onto the ropes again as she is basically mauling Kloss on the inside.

Leaning on Karlie when she clinches up, Robyn is boxing very smartly as the referee steps in to pry them apart, she keeps stalking Karlie around the ring with her right looking cocked back for a big punch.

After the opening two minutes of being bullied around, Karlie ducks under a right hook, she comes up with an overhand left and two uppercuts to the body as she shows Lawley she is here to fight still.

Getting shoved back, Karlie has to be quick witted as well as of upper body to slip a straight to pound in a counter left cross to the jaw of the taller woman.

At the end of the round Robyn looks composed even after the bad finish to the round, she still looked on top through most of the round and that's what her corner team are taking on board.

Round 5:
Getting back her rhythm, Karlie is putting her punches together again, drilling two punches into the abs of her opponent, moving around the outside of the ring.

Robyn is still able though to land some punishing blows, blood runs from a cut on the bridge of Karlie's nose as she is knocked back near the ropes.

Slipping under a left hook, Karlie comes up with an uppercut that snaps back the head of the Aussie now, who finds herself being pressed back towards the center of the ring.

Robyn is covering up more tightly, finding herself now being subjected to a beating to her body, Karlie barking with effort as she works back Lawley towards the ropes.

Less then a minute to go, Robyn nudges back Karlie before landings a right across her brow, forcing Karlie to retreat back as Robyn chases after her.

Missing with a right as she tries to knock down Karlie, Robyn gets hit with two hooks to the ribs that make her hiss out, a follow up right lands to her gut just as the bell rings.

Karlie wiping sweat off her brow, her cheeks are looking puffy but she is still fighting hard, pleasing Kelly in her corner as they discuss what she needs to improve on.

Round 6:
Robyn is starting to get hit a little more then her coach would like judging by their expression, Karlie digging in some punches just under the boobs of the bigger woman, making her wince.

But the power of Robyn is still a threat, she knocks back Karlie when she lands clean with a jab/straight combo, knocking back Kloss towards the ropes as the Fighting Academy star covers up.

Kelly yelling at her fighter to hold, Robyn making it hard as she bullies her way into to bash in two right hooks to the body, making Karlie wince as she finally holds on to Lawley.

Split apart by the referee, Robyn gets clocked coming at Karlie with a left cross/uppercut combo, sweat flies off Robyn as she is eating more punches in bunches across her marked up face.

Heading into the final seconds of the round, Karlie slips a straight to land another uppercut, Robyn definitely stumbles back two steps, eating three clean shots straight into her face knocks her into a corner.

The bell rings to end the round with Karlie looking to the heavens as if he prays are being answered, Kelly has to stop that cut bleeding again, praising her fighter for starting to hurt Lawley.

Round 7:
Robyn is trying to get back control of the action, she quickly misses with a left cross though and eats an overhand right across her chin, a follow up left hook rocks back the tall stunner!

Ducking under a right cross, Karlie slams another uppercut flush on the chin, Robyn stumbles to the ropes, WHERE A RIGHT HOOK SENDS HER TUMBLING TO HER RIGHT SIDE!

Not bothering to celebrate, Karlie jogs to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4... Robyn turns towards the ropes while blinking to clear her head now, 5...6...7.. Grabbing the ropes, 8...9.. Robyn beats the count but looks a little shaky.

The fight resumes but quickly Karlie comes charging in, it proves to be a small bluff as she feints with her right, Robyn lifts her guard up and takes a left square on her stomach that winds her.

The guard of Lawley opens up with Karlie pounding the face of Robyn, back to the ropes leans the Aussie as she eats punch after punch, THE REFEREE HAS SEEN ENOUGH! STEPPING IN TO STOP THE FIGHT, RULING ROBYN CAN'T CONTINUE!

Winner Karlie Kloss TKO Round 7

After:
A great comeback victory for Karlie, who shows how much it means to her by raising her fists into the air, looking to the ceiling as she mouths "thank you" so happy she overcame the giant Lawley.

Whose left eye is nearly shut, Robyn looking worse for wear as she sits on the middle rope, looking dazed after taking a terrible beating at the end, her coach with the referee has to help her back to her corner to sit her on her stool.

Across the ring Karlie thanks Kelly for her support, blowing kisses at the crowd as they chant her name, the ever popular Kloss looking close to tears herself, proud of overcoming a tough test like Robyn.

With the beaten woman finally looking like she has her bearings, heading over to Karlie to tape her on her shoulder, there's a hand shake as Robyn tells Karlie "good fight darling" with Karlie thanking her.

Stepping out the ring with her coach, a horrible loss for Robyn after she had looked impressive through the middle of the fight, maybe too desperate to get back on the win column led to the mistakes that cost her this fight.

Giving Robyn applause as she watches her leave the ring, Karlie always a class act, she gets her hand raised by the referee to make the result official.

Posing at the center of the ring with her hands on her hips, Karlie has puffy cheeks and a cut nose, yet she is basking in her glory, knowing it is a big step (pun intended) in the right direction in her career.

Leaving the ring with Kelly beside her, Karlie turns to blow a kiss to the Vegas crowd, she has seen best friend Taylor Swift become a champion, could now be the time Karlie kicks on with her own career now?
