(Girls Friday vs The Fighting Academy)

Intro:
A battle of youth versus experience now, Maisie Williams steps into the ring with Kristen Bell, hoping to add another champion to her résumé, Kristen looking to start clawing her way back into title contention.

Maisie is 23 years old; she stands 5'1, holding a record of 17 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 10 defeats.

Kristen is 40 years old; she also stands 5'1, holding a record of 41 wins, 28 coming by way of knockout, with 34 defeats with 4 draws, she is a former three time FCBA flyweight champion.

Both women wanting a win to get themselves back on the right foot after defeats in their last fights, Kristen wanting to prove still has it at the elite.

They were interviewed in the backstage interview area, Alicia Atout holding the microphone as Maisie Williams is standing with her looking relaxed.

Asked about how she is feeling after losing last month, Maisie answers "it wasn't fun that was for sure, Hayden (Panettiere) is an elite fighter and I learned a lot about where I am at right now, still have a lot to learn if I am to reach that level" looking solemn as she speaks.

On her opponent, Maisie replies "it's funny to think that Hayden's biggest rival could be easily argued to be Kristen, I know she is getting on a little but she is a tough challenge for anyone, I can't wait to get in the ring with her" perking up again.

"Main thing is I know I have to work around the gatekeepers to iron out my issues before I step up again, so hope my fans are patient with me, trust me I want to be a champion before long" admits Williams, finishing up before she goes to her locker room.

Kristen is soon in front of the microphone, smiling warmly as she chats away to Alicia about life before getting down to the main subject she is here.

Questioned about her opponent, Kristen says "I saw her against Hayden, she gave a good effort but there's plenty of holes in her game that I'll exploit"

She is then asked about some comments about maybe her being finished as a top contender, Kristen smirks as she looks up to the ceiling as if wondering she should answer.

"All I will say on that subject is I am still getting into the ring to be the best, I'm not simply here to make up the numbers" replies an annoyed looking Bell, heading off to go get ready to fight.

Fighting time, out comes Maisie first with her coach Ming-Na Wen beside her, she is wearing a violet sports bra, matching trunks with a white waistband, violet shoes, violet gloves with white thumbs, her brunette hair is also in a ponytail.

Getting into the ring, Maisie bows to each side before jogging to her corner, where Ming-Na tells her to not hold anything back tonight, it is about proving herself to the world.

Kristen heads out now with her coach Kelly Hu behind her, the Canadian is wearing a white sports bra with red trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves with white thumbs, her blonde hair is in a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring, pumps her right fist into the air as her fans chant her name, she warms up in her corner with Kelly telling her to prove she belongs still in this ring.

The fighters come to the ring center, looking the other over before they square up to each other, neither showing an fear for what they are facing tonight.

They respectfully touch up gloves with a nod to their opponent, returning to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both come out firing out probing punches in the opening moments of the fight, feeling their way around each others guard with mostly jabs.

Till Kristen quickly changes the pace up with a feint jab, instead she lands an uppercut that catches Maisie flat footed, knocking the younger woman onto the back foot.

Back goes Maisie to the outside of the ring, a little shell shocked as they trade hard shots, Kristen looks to be winning the exchanges though by leaning out the way of hooks, pounding in her own punches straight into the brunettes face.

Trying to push back Kristen as she comes in tight, heads grind as they bash away to bodies, Maisie wanting to show that she will not be bullied by the veteran.

Problem for her is Bell is a wily fox, the Canadian steps back to open up space for another uppercut, it doesn't land flush but does push back Williams a step.

Where she is kept near the ropes as they fight around the ring, Kristen landing more punches in these exchanges as Maisie is still trying to work out how to get out of her predicament.

At the conclusion of the round, Maisie nods to Kristen to show respect, Kristen showing the crowd she is here not to be a stepping stone but to win this fight and go on to bigger things herself.

Round 2:
Expecting a more aggressive Kristen then now, Maisie is able to meet her head on at the center of the ring in the classic flyweight exchange, flurries of punches coming from both fighters as they trade.

Maisie lands a crisp jab/straight to the mouth of Kristen to open her guard up, following up with a right hook as she knocks back the former champion to the outside of the ring.

When she looks to be getting into a rhythm, Maisie gets nudged to her chest with the left of Bell, an overhand right smacks us across the cheek to allow Kristen to move off the ropes.

Both get back in to trading on the outside as they crouch down, move their upper bodies more as they move up on their toes, heading into the final minute quite evenly fought.

Kristen lands a double jab to the top of Maisie's left brow, a right cross smacks the Game of Thrones star across her jaw, with Kristen stepping inside to work back Williams.

Driving her into a corner, where Maisie is stuck in her shell for the final thirty seconds, Kristen driving in straight shots to the body to try to break open that guard.

The bell rings to end the round with Kristen returning to her corner looking the more relaxed of the two, Maisie needing a pep talk from Ming-Na to not let herself get overwhelmed.

Round 3:
Needing to change things up before she gets bullied around again, Maisie starts to dart inside with a mixture of punches to keep Kristen off guard, moving back outside when the heat of Kristen's punches descend on her.

It looks like Maisie is starting to get some rhythm going, especially when she works those abs of Kristen, making the blonde grunt out with each clean hit.

Not to say Kristen isn't having any success at all, she lands a few crisp two and three punch combos when she reads Maisie's attacks better, moving the youngster back towards the ropes.

She misses with a left cross though as Maisie ducks it, instead two hooks land under the ribs of Bell, moving away from the ropes into space as she gives Kristen something to think about now.

In the final seconds of the round, Kristen lands a double jab to the cheek of Maisie, she looks to push back her opponent, with both nearly clashing heads as they come together in tight to work away.

At the conclusion of the round, both nudge apart from each other, they stare hard at each other before they return to their corners, the Girls Friday corner looking at ease after a better round for them.

Round 4:
Trading stiff jabs to their marked up cheeks, Kristen swings in with a left cross that just misses, Maisie landing two rights under the ribs of Bell to make her hiss out.

When Maisie tries to press forwards, she gets clipped to her cheek with a right cross, a left lands to her jaw to make her back off, heading back to the center of the ring to reset.

A double jab opens up Maisie to a clubbing right across her face, Kristen backing up her opponent behind her gloves, forcing her around the ring near the ropes.

Kristen switches to the body when she gets into the face of Maisie with her head down, wanting to bully the youngster while wearing her down, grunts escaping Williams lips as her body shows a pink hue.

With less then a minute to go, Maisie nudges back Kristen before landing two uppercuts out her guard, knocking back the Canadian towards the center of the ring.

Where they go toe to toe, sweat flies into the air as they let their hands go, Maisie leans out the way of a right hook before landing a hard left across her jaw of Kristen just before the bell rings to end the round.

Another strong round for Kristen, Maisie though is getting more success, both sets of coaches giving advice on what their fighters need to improve upon.

Round 5:
Firing more combinations into the others face and bodies, the fighters want to get control early, Kristen missing with an uppercut as Maisie sidesteps to the left, instead a left hook lands onto the ear of Bell.

Who eats some nasty looking hooks to the body, Maisie gets in close to hammer in uppercuts to the body of the blonde, knocking her to the ropes, where she takes some cross punches to her cheeks to ward her back.

Kristen tries to land a right cross that Maisie ducks under, an uppercut to the body of Kristen bends her own, THE NEXT UPPERCUT LANDS ON HER CHIN! DOWN GOES KRISTEN!

Jogging over to the neutral corner, Maisie watches with a look of hope she caught her flush, 1...2...3.. Kristen slowly turns to her front, 4...5...6.. Trying to get to her feet, 7...8.. Kristen slips back to her backside, 9...10 that's all she wrote for Bell!

Winner Maisie Williams KO Round 5

After:
Jumping for joy, Maisie looks to the ceiling as she got pushed but came out on top against game opposition tonight, Ming-Na giving her a thumbs up with a grin for a good job of finishing the fight.

The winner returning to her corner to be hugged by both Ming-Na and Eva, she showed her guts tonight to tough out a win against another former champion.

While Kristen is helped back to her stool, she looks a little dazed but seems like she will be OK, understandably disappointed that she couldn't get the win after a strong start.

Kelly reminding her that she did a good job, just got caught cold by a lucky punch, Kristen not saying a word as she probably wishes she was in the "Good Place" to swear and nobody know that she was.

Once the fighters are cleaned up, they come to the center of the ring for the final result, Kristen showing her class to shake the hand of Maisie and tell her good job.

Even if she looks down when Maisie gets her hand raised, Kristen is used to the disappointing side of celebrity boxing, she leaves the ring with Kelly with her head held high when her fans chant for her.

Back in the ring, Maisie poses for the cameras, she grins as she has both hands on her hips, her fans now chanting as she waves to them.

Leaving the ring with her corner crew, plenty of potential for Maisie, it is about unlocking it all though, she still showed some flaws but is getting better it seems as she grows into her power.
