BEFORE: "It's been a little while since we last fought BUT I'm always ready to whoop Aly's skinny ass! Besides, I need to even the score with that cow!", Nina Dobrev gives the TV viewers big thumbs up which doesn't exactly sit well with her tonight's opponent. Alyson Michalka celebrated a mini-milestone last month - fighting Demi Lovato in her 50th official FCBA bout - but she goes back to the very first opponent she faced almost ten years ago: "Yeah, I knocked Nina out of her senses back then and that set me on a winning path! She has caught up to me lately but I'm still the superior woman so I'm gonna party like it's 2010 and Nina hits the deck AGAIN!"

Round 1:
Nina strikes a confident punch and outworks the blonde in a hectic mid-range dispute before she clobbers her on the body and has Alyson reeling shortly afterwards. Nina wastes no time in making her presence felt which triggers a chaotic retreat from the blonde who refuses to engage in a classic slugfest so early in the going. She might live to regret that approach as Nina keeps stalking her around the ring and lands more gut shots once she traps her along the ropes. Alyson lands a meaningful hook on the jaw but soaks up more hits downstairs and just doesn't look comfortable at the bell.

Round 2:
Nina pulls the trigger early and tries to smack more damage into Alyson's midsection however the blonde recovers to loop a couple of nasty shots on each temple which finally allows her to stick a foot in the door here. Nina barks in anger but her head-hunting switch fails to connect and Michalka beats her from the inside with gusto. Dobrev's head snaps back repeatedly as the former champion slumps on her heels before Alyson nails her across the mouth and spins to the side. She lands another nice hook on the jaw and has Nina reeling onto the ropes where Michalka misses her chance though as she gets dragged into a lenghty clinch during the final stretch.

Rounds 3 & 4:
Back & forth swinging from both girls who seem to lose their tactical plot as personal matters take over! Nina lands one punch after another in the third only to soak up an overhand response as Alyson settles in the counter-punching drill. She doesn't look so overwhelmed anymore and locks a stubborn defense while bumping the brunette around the ring. Nina trips back onto the ropes where the blonde rallies late but there's no clear winner in the third before a mighty cross hooks bursts Dobrev's lips early in the fourth. The 'Bulgarian Badass' tries to recover in style but Alyson slams a proper jug muggin' series and softens her foe downstairs which leads into another lenghty clinch on the ropes as Nina struggles to break free. Michalka whacks her on the waist-line and almost shoves through the ropes; LCA coach Eva Mendes wants the Bazz fighter penalised but the referee has none of it and Alyson cracks more belting damage down the stretch.

Rounds 5 & 6:
More chaos in the ring as Nina rips a left cross on the mouth before she settles in the haymaker pursuit instead of steadily outboxing her opponent. Alyson finds her range thumping the brunette's ribcage but it's mind over matter stuff in the ring as Nina's abs withstand the test while she struggles to connect with Michalka's face often enough. Something's gotta give here... but just not yet as Alyson bumps her rack into Nina's before turning her onto the turnbuckle late in the sixth. Another harpoon shot makes Dobrev yelp in pain and it gets worse thereafter as the blonde nails her with an uppercut double on the jaw which probably allows her to take the round outright!

Round 7:
Alyson thinks she can break Nina's resilience punching her to the body but she gets pulled by the arm and loses her balance after a jug-to-jug contact. She lets one go over the top but misses and Nina steps in to SMOKE her with a brutal hook on the mouth that sends the GUMSHIELD FLYING OUT!!! Alyson stumbles forward with a whimper looking neutralized but Dobrev shows her no mercy and NAILS her with another right hook on the nose... DOWN GOES MICHALKA!!! The ref was distracted by the gumshield coming out and he was too late to react... now it makes no difference as Alyson CRASHES FACE-DOWN AT DOBREV'S FEET and she's been knocked out of her senses, period! KO7 Nina Dobrev!!!

AFTER: Nina struts back to her corner and lets Eva Mendes remove her gloves while the medical crew attends to the fallen blonde who has to take a horizontal trip back to the locker room! That's gonna hurt in the morning - or whenever Alyson wakes up! There's only one fighter present in the ring when the official verdict is announced and it's the 'Bulgarian Badass' who later tells Erin Andrews: "That should settle it! It's obvious I'm the superior woman between the two of us, hell, I left her choking on my dust years ago! Now it's pretty official! Who cares what happened in 2010? I don't!" (giggles).
