Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Rosie: 33 YO, 5’9 (1.75 m), FCBA: 7-8-0, 7 KO since 2012, Fates Boxing

Sophie: 24 YO, 5’9 (1.75 m), FCBA: 15-7-0, 15 KO since 2015, Foxfire Boxing

Before: “It took me awhile to get my footing in the FCBA, but I've now won 6 of my last 7 FCBA fights and it feels great. Fates Boxing has really helped me to build my skills up. Now I feel ready to test myself against a quality young lightweight like Sophie Turner. She will be difficult for me, but that’s just who I need to judge my progress. I am very eager for this fight.”

Sophie Turner says: “I have to admit that Rosie has shown some real talent in the past two years or so, but I honestly don’t think she’s quite ready for my level. She’s right I will be difficult for her and I am confident she won’t be able to overcome me.”

Rosie looks a bit irked at that last comment, but keeps her temper. “I will remind of you of that when she are face down on the canvas.”

“You won’t get the chance, you’ll be the one face down on the canvas,” Sophie replied.

A red flush is creeping into Rosie’s cheeks, but she keeps her temper in check: “See you in the ring, bytch!”

Sophie smirks: “You most certainly shall.”

In the ring, the fighters doff their robes to reveal their fighting costumes. Rosie is in a satiny emerald green bra and panties with black gloves and boots (emerald green laces). Her hair in a braid with emerald green ribbon intertwined. Sophie is a hot pink bikini with white gloves and boots (hot pink laces). Sophie with blonde hair in a battle braid (no ribbon). Lanky beauties look ready to go and wait patient for the referee to finish. Then they tap gloves and adjourn to their corners. The bell rings.

R1: Rosie and Sophie move out quickly and clash at center ring. Long range punches are bouncing off heads and smacking into torsos as they circle and countercircle. The action starts to move to the middle distance as now jaws and chins come under fire. Then long, lean abs come under hooking pressure as Sophie and Rosie move ever closer. Presently, they are toe to toe and elbows are moving in and out like pistons rods on a fast moving steam engine to drive leather into rib cages, stomachs and finally some sharp swiping blows to the breasts. Action comes to center on the abs late as Rosie and Sophie hammer away at each other. They are both tipping forward and now go after their overhanging breasts with rising punches just as the round comes to a close. Action leaves both bodies with bruised and discolored areas to their sweat covered bodies. They give each other defiant looks and then move back to their corners. Action packed opening stanza ends in a DRAW.

R2: Out Sophie and Rosie come at the bell. Rosie liking long range shots to Sophie’s head to keep the blonde ducking Sophie trying to get to closer but gets smacked hard in the face by more long range RHW punching. However Sophie is determined and using footwork to draw Rosie off balance, she finally gets in close enough to start working Rosie to the body. Rosie responds by going at Sophie to the head and face. She’s making Sophie’s face puffy and shiny from constant hits, but Sophie remains focused on wearing Rosie down to the body. Rosie finally responds with body punching of her own and they stalemate, but then Rosie clips two quick rights to the jaw that knock Sophie back on her heels. Sophie shakes it off quickly, but the round ends and the judges rule Rosie a narrow winner.

R3: Again Sophie and Rosie are both out quickly, but this time, it is Sophie able to feint the in- coming Rosie off balance and bring a walloping right into Rosie’s jaw. Rosie goes spinning off to one side on rubbery legs and Sophie moves with her to pound away at Rosie’s head. Rosie struggling to pull her defenses together and make a stand, but Sophie comes pounding through Rosie’s defensive jab to the body. Rosie hooked hard to the belly and jackknifes forward. Sophie then drives a shell-shocked Rosie into the ropes. Rosie covering her head and face as Sophie drives punch after punch into the huddling Rosie’s midsection, breasts and side ribs. Very thorough working over of Rosie’s torso, though Rosie manages to stay on her by using the ropes as a seat to the bell. Rosie slow coing off the ropes and making her way back to her corner. Sophie walks firmly to her stool she knows she’s won this round wide.

R4: Rosie shows toughness by shaking off the beating she took in the previous round and coming out fast. This time Rosie is not deceived by Sophie’s efforts to fake her off balance and she brings a smashing right/left combo into Sophie’s chin. Sophie goes stumbling back, covering her head and face. Rosie now gets to hammer away at Sophie to the body and gives her a thorough scrubbing with crisscrossing right and lefts punches. Sophie hounded into the ropes where a vengeful Rosie gives Sophie a storm of leather to the body. Sophie shuddering and groaning, but her legs don’t fail her. Sophie makes it to the bell, but now she is the one slowly leaving the ropes for her corner. Meanwhile, it is Rosie walking confidently to her stool knowing she’s won the round wide.

R5: Sophie now shows HER toughness by coming back with vigor after getting worked over hard in the previous round. She comes out fast and before Rosie can throw a punch, Sophie stuns her with a straight right that catches Rosie between the eyes. Rosie knocked back on her heels as Sophie slams in more punches against Rosie’s head and face. Rosie shuddering as these blows come in and the best she seems able to do is back away while keeping her mitts up around her head and face. Blocked high, Sophie goes back to pounding away at Rosie to the body and she’s also trying to work Rosie back in the ropes. Rosie not wanting to be trapped on the strands again, keeps backing away, but avoiding the ropes. Sophie hitting almost at will, but she can’t quite get Rosie to go where she wants. Rosie evasive to the bell, but Sophie comes away with a shutout round.

R6: Rosie a bit slow coming out this round (no surprise there) and Sophie moves in quickly to try to overwhelm the Fates boxer. Sophie going for the head, but Rosie blocks these blows, so it is back to the body for Sophie, However, Rosie begins to unleash her own body punching counters and Sophie’s body starts feeling the hard leather impacts. Very shortly they are battling it out at close range with Rosie keeping up with Sophie’s gloves to Sophie’s follow-up body blows. However Rosie then rallies with jabs into Sophie’s breasts which stall Sophie’s attack and shortly thereafter the bell rings. Close round, but judges rule that Sophie Turner got a narrow win.

R7: Now both fighters come out at the bell at a good pace. They head for center ring and start exchanging head shots. They are circling each other, still head-hunting while trying to avoid the incoming shots aimed at their own heads. Trading goes back and forth as more and more of these head shots start landing. Result is to make both fighters look a bit wobbly, but they doggedly keep up the effort. Then Rosie catches Sophie was a head swiveling right to the jaw that staggers Sophie. Rosie crouches and then shoots upward bringing a right uppercut through Sophie’s weakened defenses and into her chin. BAM! Sophie Turner is lifted off her feet and CRASHES onto her back. She lays on the canvas ger arms and legs outflung in a classic starfish. Rosie makes her way to the neutral corner and looks back hopefully. Referee is standing over the fallen Sophie Turner and counting. Sophie trying to raise her head, but she can’t seem to get her body to do much more. She groans and falls back with her eyes closed as the referee cries:

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU ARE OUT!”

THE WINNER ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY DEFEATS SOPHIE TURNER KO7!

After: RHW smiles with weary triumph as her arm is raised in victory. She is warmly congratulated by stablemates Taylor Swift, Emily DiDonato and Brie Larson. She smiles as she sees a dazed Sophie Turner have to helped to her corner.

“Well, she didn’t actually kiss the canvas,” Rosie says cheerfully in a later meeting with the press, “but she couldn’t have looked more beaten stretched out like that. It was a tough one, but I showed I could win the tough ones. I am ready to start moving into serious contention with my ultimate goal—the Lightweight Title Belt!”

Sophie Turner waiting until the next day to comment: “I really thought I was wearing her down to the body and that it was only a matter of time until she broke. I was wrong. She was tough enough to take my stuff, come back and knock me on my arse. I give her credit, Rosie is a serious contender and I found that out the hard way.”

An impressive win for Rosie Huntington-Whitely and it now makes her unbeaten in 5 fights in 2020. Rosie took on a very promising lightweight talent in Sophie Turner, took a lot of punishment from her, but came back to flatten her for the win. Fans should be eager to see where RHW goes from here. Of course, the loss was a painful disappointment for Sophie Turner, but she has shown the ability to come back from defeat so we expect her to move on from this setback. Very encouraging fight for FCBA Lightweight fans, this clash between two young lightweights could be the start of many more fights between the two in years to come.
