BEFORE: "I got a nice little permission from Brooklyn Decker to take Charlotte out so obviously I'm all in on proving how overhyped this bimbo really is!", Romee Strijd is ready to make some noise again and vows to upstage one of the most interesting free agents on the market. CMK never lived up to the hype as Decker's replacement at Front Street and finds herself insulted by a Lioness Club understudy which she simply can't understand right now: "Who the hell is this stupid cow? I suppose she's Brooklyn's punchbag but I can punch just as hard and she's gonna learn it the hard way tonight! "

Round 1:
Charlotte jumps the gun and swings at the fellow blonde even before the opening bell however the hectic action gets interrupted early when both blondes clash heads in the center of the ring. Charlotte yells out in anger but quickly finds her mojo punching the Dutchwoman downstairs before moving up to clip the rack. This offensive spell is short-lived though as Strijd shoves the American away and controls the mid-range dispute thanks to her superior reach. CMK tries to sneak in and punish the midsection again but eats a couple of heavy hits on the temples and thinks better off it. Both models circle around each other for the remainder of the round as Romee refuses to kick into a higher gear for whatever reason.

Round 2:
Charlotte feels more at ease in close range and manages to drop a belting shot below Romee's breasts before jumping on the jug muggin' route that clearly overwhelms the Dutch model. CMK rolls back to her pre-Front Street years and lifts Romee's breasts into her chin before the Dutch girl clinches her but there's no immediate respite as McKinney nails her on the liver area and breaks free into the open. Romee slumps on her heels but escapes a looping cross at the last moment whereas Charlotte wants to glue her mitts into her rack again down the stretch. CMK on the pounce but the leggy Dutchwoman turns up the wick and neutralizes the slugging danger with a hectic counter-punching flurry in the final minute.

Round 3:
Back & forth jabbing dispute dominates the opening minute but Romee enforces the mid-range stance thereafter and keeps the fellow blonde at bay. Meanwhile Charlotte becomes too predictable with her body assault charge and gets clinched numerous times whenever she manages to slip into close distance. Romee also bangs her around the elbows several times and shuts down along the ropes late before a crippling left hooks nails the American on the nose and leaves her yelping in pain right at the bell.

Round 4:
Charlotte's busy working on Romee's midsection in the opening minute and clips her jaw with a stray head-butt which firmly puts her in control thereafter. Strijd loses her balance and fails to stretch her elbows while McKinney slowly expands the volume of her punches to the point she backs the fellow blonde onto the ropes where she dominates with more body assault. Romee can only clinch the smaller blonde but still gets pounded from both flanks and begins to yelp in pain come the final minute. This only fuels McKinney's jabbing efforts and she has a field day thumping the exposed midriff for remainder of the round.

Round 5:
More body-thumping aggression from McKinney sends Strijd into reeling mode but the American seemingly ignores the looping counter-punching efforts in her push for more success downstairs. A couple of them miss the target before Romee lands a proper piledriver into the American's nose and follows up with a booming cross hook on the jaw. Ugh! Charlotte is stopped in her tracks but refuses to back off and reaches out for a looping cross herself, Romee spins to the side and has CMK searching for balance before she SMOKES her with a vicious left hook on the ear!!! DOWN GOES McKINNEY!!! A single punch catches the free agent clean and drops her face-down at Romee's feet! Uh-oh!!! Strijd swiftly struts back to her corner while CMK tries to push herself off both hands only to fall down again once the gravity takes over. Ref waves off the count at seven and it's KO5 Romee Strijd in one-punch fashion!!!

AFTER: "Yeah, welcome to the hard-punching world, tramp!", Romee gloats over the fallen Charlotte who only sits down on her heels a full minute after she'd been knocked out, "It's safe to say I have the real welter power while you don't! Go back to JMDD or something because you're not good enough to be an elite fighter! Sheesh... guess Brooklyn Decker won't have to knock on your door anytime soon? Why bother with such a phoney bytch!"

If losing to Hannah Ferguson back in March was acceptable then tonight's defeat firmly removes Charlotte from welterweight title contention. However some rumours link her to a long-awaited JMDD return sooner rather than later and most pundits believe this is where the Orlando native truly feels at home. Watch this space!
