BEFORE: It's been two and a half years in the making but Brooklyn Decker is more than ready for a rematch versus Australia's top welterweight Tahnee Atkinson - and she's brought the unified straps with her to boot! Still major bad blood between the two models as Tahnee simply can't let go of the fact Decker once "humiliated" Elle MacPherson while still a member of Front Street Gym: "This will not go away! Brooklyn took a cheap shot at the Aussie legend and earned my eternal wrath! I had to beat Hannah Ferguson TWICE to get this shot but I'm here ready to blow her away! I admit Brooklyn's courage but that's it! She's going down with a broken jaw tonight! That's a frickin' promise!"

Meanwhile Brooklyn keeps her composure and believes Tahnee is simply trying to sell her stock too much: "Look, I know Tahnee is good but she's not THAT good. There's Kate (Upton), Hannah and ME! Even if Tahnee dyed hr hair blonde she's not one of the gang! Get on the cover of Sports Illustrated or else! I can't believe she's still on the Elle MacPherson case! Even I forgot about this fight! That's ancient frickin' history! Least I need someone to remind me of my Asylum days! Turn the damn page, Tah or just suck on my kneecaps, okay?"

Round 1:
Both models square up to each other in slugging fashion and trade jabbing leather back & forth however their punching resistance is too impressive to result in immediate breakthrough. They settle in the single-punch drill and the crowd is left with heads rocking side-to-side but both girls taunting each other to punch harder! It's a classic stand-off between two Alpha combatants that shake off each hit with a wry smile before most of these head-hunting efforts eventually get blocked with the stubborn high guard. Tahnee tries to switch low to perhaps steal the opener late but gets barged in the chest with a not-so-stray elbow and Brooklyn simply shoves her back with both arms and yells: "Got to try harder, bytch!"

Round 2:
More single-punch slinging as both models try to test the aerial resistance; Brooklyn slams a left/right combo on each temple but Tahnee finds a similar response which makes both girl burst into laughter afterwards. They circle around each other before the blonde taunts the challenger to "come and get some". Tahnee obeys but gets blasted over the top as she only grazes the blonde's chin and eats a brutal hook on the navel to slide back into mid-distance; this allows the champion to pounce on her again and Tahnee loses her balance after a jug-to-jug contact, she swings above Decker's head and eats a nasty uppercut on the jaw with Brooklyn clipping her jugs in steady fashion to drive the challenger onto the ropes where she lands another big shot on the breadbasket to claim the round outright.

Round 3:
Tahnee tries to hassle her way back into contention and she lands more crisp punches into Brooklyn's face but she can't bounce the older model around the ring and is sucked into a cagey jabbing dispute where proper combos are hard to come by. More punch-for-punch trading leads into a lenghty clinch where Atkinson manages to break free and drive a wicked harpoon in the blonde's navel. Brooklyn steps back and avoids a follow up over the top however Tahnee stalks her with more jabbing menace for remainder of the round. Decker taunts the Aussie challenger with her mitts hanging by her waist but Tahnee just can't punish her for this arrogance and is fumes in disgust at the bell instead.

Round 4:
Brooklyn finally gets wrapped in a proper head-hunting combo but bursts into the brunette's midsection to force a separation; both women waste some time swinging wild punches in the midnight air before Tahnee clips the jugs and follows through on the solar plexus that makes Decker wobble to the side. Tahnee scampers through on the ribcage and barges the champion onto the ropes where Decker has to clinch the Aussie foe but Tahnee bumps her off and lands a nasty cross hook on the lips. Cue in another harpoon rally on the guts and Brooklyn clinches the younger model again but Atkinson drives her on the turnbuckle and keeps working on the exposed ribcage for remainder of the round.

Round 5:
Tahnee rolls out more body assault but eats a shoulder barge in the boobs and stumbles to the side as Brooklyn beats her for a wild overhand on the ear. Ugh! Tahnee tries to duck low away from the follow up but plants her face in the blonde's jugs instead and gets blasted with an uppercut on the boobs that gives the Ohio native the edge come the second minute. Brooklyn hammers away at the brunette's guts and thumps her onto the ropes where she grabs her by the left arm and pulls her into another shot on the ear from the other side. She lets Atkinson bounce off the ropes and slams a nasty left/right combo on the mouth that slumps Atkinson against the ropes; in comes another harpoon rally to the body and the Oz challenger groans out in pain at the bell with Brooklyn thumping away in furious fashion!

Round 6:
Tahnee rallies back to clean out the blonde's tummy but gets dragged into a clinching stalemate that really begins to wear the Aussie down - mentally more than physically. She shouts back at the blonde model and tries to shove her back but gets clocked with an uppercut combo and slumps back on the ropes when the jabbing steam picks up momentum and begins to punish her jugs too often for comfort. Both models wrestle for supremacy until Tahnee slips away from the American's grasp and blasts her on the chin to trigger a hectic rally in the closing minute. There's more punch-for-punch trading in the process that gives Atkinson a visible lump around the lips but she follows through to stun the blonde with a pesky left/right effort on each temple that drives Decker away from close range.

Round 7:
Both models take a quick breather in the seventh as clinch dominates the action and the fight itself still too close to call. Tahnee bursts through on the body but gets pulled by the arm again and drops onto the ropes where Brooklyn pins her against the turnbuckle. She drills the exposed stomach for a while but then gets barged in the chest herself as Atkinson battles through the lockdown and breaks free for good; she circles back to center of the ring and makes Decker slice thin air in response before blasting the older model up the middle and tagging her chin several times. Brooklyn thinks better off it and bails out into mid-range but she's visibly frustrated at the bell and LCA coach Eva Mendes has to calm her down a little during the interval.

Round 8:
Still no breakthrough in the eight, back & forth slugging begins to lose steam after the opening minute but Tahnee settles for the one-punch solution that actually makes her look a little desperate & sluggish along the way. Decker keeps the distance in perfect order and only allows the brunette to graze her upstairs before she cashes in on Atkinson losing her balance and she drives one up her rack to stun the challenger into spasms on the spot. Blonde rallies into the brunette's gut and pummels her onto the ropes where Tahnee doesn't have the strenght aymore to prevent the champion from thumping her breadbasket into a mush. Ugh! This late series has really drained the Aussie model from a lot of energy and she has to rest her arms on the ropes trying to catch her breath back before walking back to her stool.

Round 9:
Tahnee's energy levels suffer another blow when Brooklyn camps into her breadbasket again and drills the toned abs with brutal precision. Brunette reeling upon impact but Decker misses the put away connection but gets her arm pulled for a change and Tahnee spins her onto the ropes - chamion bounces off and gets NAILED by a vicious cross hook on the nose... uh-oh!!! We have liquid in the ring as Brooklyn leaks blood from her nostrils and Tahnee blows into her chest pinning the champion butt-in-ropes thereafter. Here comes the Aussie onslaught! Tahnee yells in her efforts as she hammers the ailing champ from both flanks but the red mist mode slightly affects the brunette's precision. She keeps Decker well under cosh but just can't put her away - more blood spillage dumps the blonde into loud spasms as Tahnee can't make her mind up where to punish her rival the most. The barrage of punches alone allows the challenger to maintain a clear edge for remainder of the round as Brooklyn can't even clinch the charging Aussie who adds a couple of late belters in the breadbasket and folds Brooklyn into real trouble... THE CHAMP IS HURT... but saved by the bell as Tahnee lands one extra punch late but nobody objects to it and hear this Aussie taunting now! Tahnee is ready to rip the Sports Illustrated legend to pieces as we head into the tenth!

Round 10:
Tahnee can't wait to pounce on the seemingly vulnerable opponent, Brooklyn gets her nostrils patched up and she refuses to relinquish the straps even though she's apparently running on fumes here in the final round. Tahnee sees red - and tries to spill more blood outright as she clobbers her shots upstairs but skims off the cheeks and brow ridges without the desired effect. Meanwhile Decker swings over the top digging deep into whatever's left in her tank. Head-hunting menace enuses, both leggy models glued to the spot trading blows in mind over matter fashion.. Tahnee can feel the title is right there for the taking but she runs out of gas... oh, dear... she gets thumped on the chin once, twice... but she refuses to back off, she leans forward and loses her grip as she bumps off the blonde's shoulder and gets NAILED by a vicious hook on the ear... she staggers forward and slumps against Decker's waist but then gets wrenched in the liver area and DOWN SHE GOES as her knees simply give way with less then thirty seconds left on the clock! Would you believe it! Brooklyn staggers back to her corner unaware she's leaking blood from her nostrils again... Tahnee down on all fours... but makes it back onto her feet at seven and a change... still wobbly but the ref won't stop it here... Tahnee on the prowl.. dragging her feet as Decker circles back and avoids one last slugging duel... she thinks she has this in the bag... Atkinson cries out at the bell and drops to her knees in agony... the last-minute knockdown can make the difference here... Brooklyn staggers back and pauses half-way trying to figure out where Eva Mendes is... sweat & blood mix together and make up for one busted up blonde supermodel... Ladies and gentlemen - we go to the scorecards! Comes back one point duke - 94-93 - for your winner and STILL the unified welterweight champion Brooklyn Decker!!!

AFTER: Lioness coach Eva Mendes lets out the loudest scream of joy in the ring as Brooklyn is too tired to do anything else other than raising her hand. She slumps into the Latina's embrace and heads back to her corner totally drained after a rare ten round try out. We haven't had these for a while after all. Meanwhile Tahnee is left sitting in the Odds & Ends corner, head down, arms resting on the thighs. So close yet so far for the Australian babe! That last knockdown with thirty seconds left made the difference even if the fight was heading into a draw that would have retained Decker the title anyway. Welterweight battle royale concludes tonight's action but one must suspect we'll hear more about this rip-roaring contest in days to come. No comments from either side. Even the regular insults have run out of fuel and the massage crews will be called into immediate action. No wonder both Brooklyn and Tahnee skip the post-event VIP party! They are hurting big time and it won't get any better in the morning!
