Lori Loughlin vs. Leah Remini (Partial Report)

Loughlin wears orange short trunks with an orange bikini top and white gloves.

Remini wears black leather short trunks with a blue bikini top and also white gloves.

This bout was another one to feature surprising cougars in their card for covid 19 relief. Leah Remini and Lori Loughlin would be boxing.

Lori coming off her legal trouble was boxing to get the rust off and show she had more to give. Leah had been a major boxer on the female celebrity boxing scene for almost 25 years now but never on the FCBA stage until now.

The first round saw Leah win it widely as she showed some impressive punches. Lori was caught by surprise as Remini threw some hard hooks and straights. The second round saw Loughlin answered back as she hit Leah’s face with some mean uppercuts and crosses. Remini punched a shutout round in the 3rd as she had Lori on the ropes with her own body punching and seem to be close to knocking her out. But Loughlin showed great determination and never touched the canvas. The fourth saw Lori made a great comeback as she won it widely. Again she was able to surprise Leah by hard punching and close shots. The fifth round was another big punching round by both boxers. But Loughlin threw a couple hard hooks to Remini’s face and then punched her gut with a left straight to get her back to the ropes. Leah boxed back with a couple uppercuts of her own and the two were boxing along the ropes for all to see. The crowd rose in noise and standing as the two punched back and forth. Near the end of the round, Lori got in a great right hook to Leah’s gut and then two more crosses to her face. Soon a flurry of punches came into Remini from Loughlin. A couple hard hooks put Leah down on the mat. She was on her knees by 6 and that was about as far as she would go for the entire 10 count.

Lori would come and have her glove raised in victory. Leah watched from her corner as Loughlin posed in the ring.

After the bout, Lori spoke of how great it was to get back in the ring and box again. She said she was looking to catch on in the cougar division and keep boxing in the FCBA.
