“I cannot believe Missy Pergrym acted like that,” fumes Rachel Nichols to press, “who does she think she is: Jenny McCarthy? Gena Lee Nolin? Of course, you never know how low those Lookout boxers will go. Sophie? She will be fine, no thanks to Missy Peregrym. Sophie got careless there in the 7th and Missy took advantage, Sophie will learn from this and be back. And don’t think she’ll forget Missy Peregrym any time soon!”
It was an interesting fight. Sophie looked like she had Missy ready to go I the 4th, but Missy clawed her way back in the 5th. Then Sophie again seemed to have control of the fight after 6, but ended up being beaten down herself in the 7th. Goes to show a veteran like Missy Peregrym isn’t beaten until the count gets to 10, Very good win for Missy. Painful loss for Sophie, but she may have learned a hard lesson from the setback. In any case, fans got to see a great fight and can look forward to what comes next for Missy and Sophie. |
