Intro:
Maisie Williams and Cheryl Cole duke it out in a battle of two English sweethearts, Maisie wanting to take over from the legend Cheryl, while Cheryl of course wants to keep the younger pack behind her as she seeks the FCBA flyweight title.

Coming into this fight both have had a mixed year, they are still in the top twenty, a win could certainly get them into that contendership race they are just looking in from the outside at.

Before the fight FCBA Network's Alicia Atout got word from both fighters at their gyms, first up heading into the Girls Friday gym to see Maisie, who had finished her training session and was heading to the locker room, a towel over her left shoulder while she smiles at Atout.

"Hey Alicia, as you can see I am deep into training, I am going to enjoy the spa after I get past this fight" says a cheerful Maisie before she takes a drink, Alicia joking she'd enjoy a spa day herself as both giggle.

The subject turns to the fight, Maisie tells the interviewer "well I've been wanting a crack at Cheryl for awhile, I mean look at her career, I have the utmost respect for what she has done" a more serious look to the actress.

"But I've heard all her insults, telling people when my name is mentioned that I am too small to be a success in this sport, trying to talk down to me when we are at the post pay per view parties, this is my chance to shut her up once and for all" says Williams as she clenches her fists, showing how much this fight means to her, she heads off to the locker room after nodding to Alicia.

While when Alicia goes into the Lioness Club gym, she gets to watch Cheryl sparring with Mandy Capristo, the two going hard to the bell where they bump fists with a nod, Cheryl taking out her gumshield as she heads to the side of the ring where Alicia is standing.

Waving Alicia into the ring, Cheryl jokes "I promise I won't hit you, here I'll prove it" putting her arms behind her back as Alicia smiles, stepping into the ring after slipping out her heels.

"I can't believe Maisie actually grew a spine, I mean that short arsed cow thinks she can actually match me? Her manager needs to check their head" Cheryl laughing as she shows how little respect she has for Maisie.

"Once I've dealt with this little prick, I want Smackey to fix those rankings he put out, no way should I ever be below Maisie or for that matter most of that lot he sees as being above me" says Cole as she playfully taps Alicia on the shoulder with a jab and a wink.

"Oh I didn't mean I'd hit you during your interview, now it's done I could show you how good I am with these on" Cheryl mischievously says as Alicia's expression turns to a little fear, Alicia turning to get out the ring as Cheryl jokes "maybe next time" with a big grin.

Fight night; out comes Maisie first with her coach Ming-Na Wen and cut woman Eva Carneiro beside her, a more serious look then she normally has as she heads down the aisle, she thuds her gloves together before she jogs up the steps to get into the ring.

Maisie is wearing a red sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail as she gets into her corner, Ming-Na telling her to show up Cheryl for the bully she is.

With Cheryl now heading out with her coach Melanie Brown, she looks more relaxed as she jogs down the aisle, blowing a few kisses to the crowd, before she heads up the steps to climb into the ring.

The singer is wearing a black and white striped sports bra, black trunks with white stripes down the side, matching boots, her gloves are white with black thumbs, her hair is tied back into a ponytail too.

Stepping to the ring center, Cheryl can be heard saying "time to see where you stack up" putting her right fist up to her waist as if saying that's where Maisie matches up to her, making Maisie shake her head as Cheryl jogs to her corner.

The referee waves the fighters to come to them at the ring center, staying between the fighters as they listen to the final instructions off the referee, though their eyes are firmly on the other fighter.

When told to touch gloves, Maisie puts her outs and is greeted by Cheryl slamming hers down on them, showing her lack of respect fully for her opponent, Maisie telling her "you'll learn bytch" before they jog back to their corners, the bell rings to start ten rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell Maisie jogs out to the ring center, up on her toes moving around Cheryl when the veteran comes out to fight her, Cheryl finding out quickly the hand speed of her younger opponent when they first start to trade, Maisie not throwing probing punches, already landing two or three punch combos.

The Geordie comes firing back on the inside with a right to the stomach, a left cross lands up top to turn Maisie's head, Cheryl showing off her power as she starts to back up Maisie with most punches banging off the gloves of the actress.

Who ducks under a sweeping left cross, Maisie now lands two right hooks under the ribs of Cheryl, moving into space with her eyes locked onto her rival, looking very intense.

While Cheryl is landing some hard single shots, it is Maisie outworking her so far with skirmish attacks, darting in with body shots before she moves back out when Cole starts to land across the top of her head.

A missed right hook by an annoyed looking Cheryl leaves her open to an overhand left across her face, followed by a right hook as Maisie lands the best punches of the round just as it comes to a close, Maisie jogging back to her corner looking anxious to get back out to fight.

Round 2:
Using her jab to pinpoint Maisie more, Cheryl is slightly more deterring the smaller fighter from getting in as freely, though Maisie is still getting inside to land some digging body shots.

After a minute of this, Cheryl seems to have gotten Maisie's timing down better, stepping back as Maisie comes in before landing a rifle like straight down the barrel into Maisie's face to pin her to the spot for a left cross.

Knocking back Maisie to the outside of the ring, Cheryl is forcing the issue now, beating Williams in heated exchanges with more hooks coming from the former champion, turning Maisie's head when she lands cleanly.

Taking some confidence it seems from the youngster, who is shielding more as she finds herself being faced with more punches coming towards her head at a time, though Cheryl is being yelled at to go to the body, the singer looks to be enjoying bullying Maisie too much to care.

At the end of the round, Cheryl taunts Maisie "too easy" banging with gloves together with a grin as if warning her foe, who just stares angrily back at Cole, not hiding her animosity towards her fellow English lass.

Round 3:
Coming out in a similar manner to the last round, Maisie is trying to find new angles to strike from, Cheryl is trying to find the pattern to these attacks as she sticks out the jab to get the range down first.

Ducking under a jab to pound in three short sharp hooks to the body, Maisie gets groans from her opponent as she pushes her backwards, taking a shove though as Cheryl pounds a straight into her face.

After the first minute though Maisie looks in good shape this round, till she gets caught coming in with a left hook to her cheek, another straight lands square on her face to knock her head back.

Cheryl presses back Maisie towards the outside of the ring, using all her experience to try to stop the firecracker being able to explode over her, banging in her punches to the face of the Game of Thrones star.

Who again has to go back behind her guard as they enter the final minute, this time Cheryl steps in with a shove with her left forearm across that guard, knocking back Williams into a corner so she can work the body with her own short sharp hooks.

Maisie tries to fire her way out the corner as both women let their fists do the talking, Cheryl looks to be winning the exchanges though as Maisie can't pull back her punches, the round coming to a close with Cheryl looking calm on her stool compared to the pissed off looking Maisie being told to calm down.

Round 4:
After a talking to by Ming-Na, Maisie takes a deep breath before she heads out her corner, Cheryl looking to meet her at the center as quick, show how dominant she is in the early exchanges which sees both plant their feet more.

This doesn't suit Maisie, who switches to moving more side to side, feinting so she isn't as easy to read, leading to her landing an overhand left to the cheek of Cheryl, followed by a right to the abs to drive air from Cole's body.

Keeping herself compared, Maisie surprises Cheryl back sticking in close to work the body, it isn't pretty as her head is right under the chin of the Geordie lass, who clinches up with Maisie when her back touches turnbuckles.

Separated, Cheryl starts to come on strong again with a good jab/straight punch catching Maisie to the top of her head to ward her back, a double jab further driving Maisie to the outside of the ring.

Where Williams slips a straight to counter with a right cross, then a left hook under the ribs of Cole, getting herself back to the ring center as the Lioness thuds her gloves together, showing some frustration for the first time in the fight.

The round comes to a close with Maisie getting a nod from Ming-Na, Cheryl on the other hand is being told off Mel to stop being overconfident, Cheryl taps her cheeks with her gloves as if to find her zone.

Round 5:
Maisie sticking to dancing around the ring on her toes, drilling in single punches when she isn't feinting to try to keep Cheryl off balance, the veteran has her eyes firmly locked onto her.

Coming in with a right cross, Maisie misses as Cheryl takes a step back, THE UPPERCUT FROM COLE LANDS SWEET AS A NUT! MAISIE'S HEAD JARS BACK AS HER GUMSHIELD GOES FLYING, DOWN GOES WILLIAMS EYES SHUT, REFEREE CHECKS HER AND WAVES THE FIGHT OFF, RULING HER OUT COLD!

Winner Cheryl Cole KO Round 5

After:
A possible knockout of the night contender; maybe the year! Cheryl shows no compassion though for her foe as she pushes the referee out the way to place her foot on the chest of the napping Maisie.

"Welcome to the big leagues kid!" Yells Cheryl down to Maisie, who looks lost to the world right now, Cole posing for the cameras before Ming-Na can shove her away from her fighter so she can check on her with the ringside doctor.

Laughing as she returns to her corner, Cheryl gets a high five from Mel as she can be heard saying "I told that bytch that she is too small to fight people like me" Mel agreeing with her as she helps take off Cheryl's gloves.

Happily Maisie wakes up with help from smelling salts, though she is still disoriented, the doctor waving for a stretcher so that Maisie can be taken to the back, a rude awakening it seems for the youngster as she walked into that punch.

The crowd applaud Maisie as she is carried out the ring, Ming-Na and Eva looking worried before Ming-Na turns around to stare angrily back at the ring, no doubt eyeing up Cheryl thinking of how she wants revenge, training Maisie or Elizabeth Henstridge to beat Cole.

In the ring Cheryl cups her left ear with her hand, the referee raising her right to make it official that Cheryl is the winner, her fans are chanting "Geordie Power!" To her.

After giving the camera a kiss and a wink, Cheryl steps out the ring to head to the back, showing tonight why she has the nickname "Geordie Power" keeping herself firmly in title contention.
