Joey King – |5’3”|20|5:2|Emilia’s Empresses|
Daisy Ridley – |5’7”|28|21:10|Knockout Babes|

Pre-Fight: „I feel like I'm growing a little after every fight. Losing is a chance to learn from my mistakes and winning is showing off what I've learned. Daisy will definitely be a difficult challenge but a challenge I’m capable of overcoming with enough hard work.” Joey talks to the press.

“I’ve been in the FCBA a few years longer than Joey, which should give me an advantage. That being said, I’m not expecting a walk in the park. I like a challenge and from what I’ve seen Joey is a decent and capable fighter. I hope she doesn’t run out of steam too early.”

Joey enters the ring first wearing a red bra and panties combo with black gloves and her hair in a loose. Daisy enters in a blue sports bra and shorts with blue gloves and her hair in a topknot.

Round 1: Daisy rises off her stool with a plan on her mind. She methodically approaches Joey, smacking her with her left while keeping her right at Joey's waistline. Joey fully focuses on defending and doesn't pay enough attention to her surroundings, ending up ropeside while Daisy starts striking her belly. Joey goes in for a clinch, turning Daisy to ropes but it doesn’t help her situation as Daisy outpunches her, leading Joey towards the middle where she continues beating the brunette without mercy. Daisy keeps her momentum, bullying Joey until the very last second, patiently tucking punches into Joey’s face and body as the younger brunette fails to fight back or defend. Joey’s in survival mode, soldiering on and refusing to go down but taking a massive beating in the process. Bell: Daisy confident after her shutout, ready for the second round while Joey gets worked on by the med team.

Round 2: Joey enters the round prepared, fighting from a distance where she can work around Daisy punches. She ducks under or sidesteps, making Daisy miss but being 3” shorter, Joey isn’t able to follow up or counter any of Daisy’s attacks. Calm and composed, Joey waits for the perfect opportunity and strikes when Daisy leaves herself open with a single jab or hook. Slowly but surely, she picks away at Daisy’s face swaying her head with each precise strike causing a bloody nose and lip. Taking all those punches makes Daisy dizzy going into the final minute, she’s baby-stepping, practically walking into Joey’s punches and missing the shorter brunette by a mile when she responds. The final seconds of the round see Joey in charge, upping the pace and doubling the jab, looking to do as much damage as she can before the bell, settling the score and winning the round by a wide margin.

Round 3: Daisy’s clearly hurt from all those punches, looking dizzy as she rises from her stool. Joey chases after her from the start looking to blast her face some more. Daisy uses footwork to get away from Joey’s punches and counter-attacking with body blows. She puts effort into each strike leaving Joey with a new bruise with almost every punch. Later in the round, Joey manages to finally get away from Daisy, striking her cheeks with a right hook as she hops to the other side of the ring. Daisy chases after her, walking into another hook but still manages to shove Joey to ropes where she continues blasting away at her body. Despite Joey’s best effort, she isn’t able to escape now, finding herself stuck ropeside while Daisy does a number on her midsection. Bell rings quicker than Daisy hoped for but she takes the round nevertheless.

Round 4: Despite taking a beating in two rounds, Joey still retains her fighting spirit rising from her stool with confidence ignoring the bruises and keeping distance. Looking to capitalise on the success of the previous round, Daisy marches forward; dukes up and battle-ready. She opens up with a left hook hoping to push Joey to ropes but failing to do so as the shorter gal ducks under, stepping around Daisy and responding with a right uppercut landing on her chin, sending her to ropes instead. Joey fires a couple of jabs to her mouth but Daisy is quick to defend, denying her from landing more punches. Joey persists, mostly hitting Daisy’s arms, hurting them in the process and making Daisy drop her arms after which she wastes no time sending two more uppercuts to her face as Daisy hits the canvas. She beats the count at six just before the bell, losing out on the round in a very back and forth contest.

Round 5: Eager yet patient, Joey enters the round with her chin up, elbows high and ready. Daisy mirrors meeting her in the middle, exchanging blows with Joey. Both girls focus fully on offence, ignoring the pain and committing to hurting each other. The exchange ends in a clinch, followed up by a ref break as the fighters take a few steps back. They fight from a distance for a while, slowing down the pace of the fight but it only takes until the 2-minute mark before they’re back at each other's faces. They keep exchanging punches until their arms grow tired after which the fight slows down again. The final minute is spent by either fighter circling the right, throwing a single jab at a time. With the bell around the corner and both fighters' stamina nearly depleted, there isn’t much more they can do, ending the round in a draw.

Round 6: Battle-scarred outcome the fighters and it soon becomes apparent that Daisy is in significantly worse shape. Her footwork just isn’t there anymore and she seems to be seeing start. On the other hand, Joey’s problems only stem from her midsection, making her walk with a slight limp yet able to outwork her opponent. Daisy puts up a fight in the first minute but as the round progresses, she seems to be doing worse by the second, taking more punches and giving less resulting in a second knockdown at the halfway point. She’s up at eight, looking to get away from Joey, only to get herself stuck ropeside as Joey takes charge, banging her face via hooks, then goes downstairs and striking her ribs. The bell rings as Joey earns her shutout while Daisy clings onto the ropes.

Round 7: Joey looks to finish, no longer playing it patiently and using the last of her stamina to finish Daisy off. The retaliates, putting up a good fight but ultimately being outboxed by Joey. She bosses the taller girl around the ring, directing her with punches as Daisy fails to respond. She pours punches into Daisy’s body and face, hurting her ribs and swelling her right eye. Daisy looks tired but refuses to take a knee. Joey keeps persisting, switching to uppercuts, swinging her head left and right, working her over as Daisy's legs give a shimmy. It doesn’t take long for her to hit the canvas and it’s a strong right hook that finally finishes her over, sending Daisy flying face-first onto the mat. She looks too tired to get up and fails to do so.

Winner via KO in Round 7: Joey King

Post-Fight: “Like I predicted, Daisy was a really tough opponent and a stepping stone in my career. But she wasn’t quite tough enough to beat me. Nevertheless I feel great, despite not looking it and I hope that this win gets me more recognition with the higher-ups of FCBA.” Joey talks to the press
