BLONDE AMBITION AT THE ASYLUM: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"Well, it's certainly disappointing that I've only fought twice the last two years and haven't had any action this year at all," says a hard-eyed Jessica. "I mean, I KNOW why. Girls don't want any of THIS. So, give Bennet credit. SHE'S not afraid. And, she's also not going to WIN."

"No question she can fight," Chloe admits with a nod. "But, tonight, she's in with the best bantam in the FCBA. So, you know how this is gonna go."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Rising' by Jeff Williams..."

McCarthy: "Not a bad song..."

O'Dell: "It's from the series RWBY which features the voice of the young lady coming to the ring right now, Jessica Nigri!"

Tess: "Which you would KNOW if you read the PREP MATERIAL!"

McCarthy: "Again, I REFUSE to read Lavigne's PROPAGANDA!"

Cassie: "BFF, HOW long as Avril been at The Dollhouse again?"

Tess: "Or, 'What color is the sky in your world, Mac?'"

McCarthy: "What ARE you two babbling about?"

O'Dell (sighing): "Jessica into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's looking PLENTY good in that bubblegum pink number if the crowd reaction is any indication. And, that's..."

McCarthy: "ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! WHY do I have to be subjected to this NOISE?

"

O'Dell (sighing more deeply): "That's 'Uh Oh', by the lovely lady now coming to the ring, the former Unified Bantamweight Champion, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

Cassie: "And, as we've said before this evening, Chloe right in the mix at bantamweight right now, and if she's going to stay there, she needs a win tonight."

O'Dell: "Bennet into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's got the crowd popping in that blue number we've seen before. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Bennet would be good if she had a decent trainer, but she has CAMPBELL. Nigri!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Ladies boxing early. Both are plenty physical, but, at the moment, we've got some recon going on. They've set up at range, and they're moving feet, hands, heads, probing, looking for openings, mostly working the jab at the moment, and, can't say this is a bad idea, Mac..."

McCarthy: "When you're in with a girl who can hit, no, it's not."

O'Dell: "Action picking up some as the round goes along. Seeing some combinations now. Ladies still showing plenty of caution, though, as tactics rule the day, at least for the moment. Nigri not showing much ring rust, despite not having much FCBA action in recent years..."

Tess: "That's one reason I thought Bennet might come out firing and jump on her early."

O'Dell: "Clearly not the fight plan. We're down to twenty seconds to go in the first. Ladies have ranged all around the ring, working the feet and the hands very well, both showing plenty of boxing skill. Five seconds left. Last exchange and there's the bell. Close. To Chloe."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "More aggression as we start the second. Ladies sitting down on punches, looking to impose some will here and NIGRI ROCKS BENNET! Chloe wobbled by a right hand and DOWN SHE GOES after a blistering flurry from the blonde including a NASTY left hook!"

Cassie: "Some BIG shots in there!"

O'Dell: "Jessica to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Bennet rolls to her belly at six. Seven. Eight. Chloe to her feet and looking plenty worse for the wear. Ref gives her the mandatory, thinks about it, and waives on JESSICA! Nigri all OVER Bennet now, driving her back into the ropes..."

McCarthy: "Now's the time to finish..."

Tess: "Sure is, considering how good Chloe is at getting up off the deck and overcoming big deficits..."

O'Dell: "Nigri just throwing flurry after flurry at the brunette. Chloe covering up, jabbing back here and there, just trying to survive right now. Ref looking in. Bennet tying up. Nigri stacks her, works a little body, then goes back upstairs. Five seconds left. Good right from Nigri at the bell."

Tess: "Bennet makes the bell, but Nigri's got the lead 19-18 after a 10-8 round."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Nigri right after Bennet as we start the third. Blonde definitely all about the finish. She's cleaning up in the mean time, but she knows, like everyone else, that the brunette can and HAS dug herself out of some big holes, so Nigri's plan is to absolutely BURY her."

Tess: "And, she's going about it the right way."

O'Dell: "Sure is. Committing on punches, keeping the brunette on D, punishing her at every opportunity. Chloe trying to manage a little right now, but not having a lot of success doing that. Jessica doing pretty much what she wants to do as we head into the final minute..."

Cassie: "GOOD right from Bennet there! Got the feet set."

O'Dell: "Sure did, and the brunette now stabilizing her front. Jessica still on the offensive, but Bennet able to hold some ground at least as we head down the stretch. Sharp exchange. And ANOTHER. And ANOTHER! Ladies hot tossing right to the bell. No doubt about the cards. Nigri. Wide."

McCarthy: "And she's up 29-27 after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Nigri keeping up the pressure and NOW we're seeing the heavy, physical exchanges both of these girls have been known to engage in! Chloe holding ground and banging back at the blonde and there is some SERIOUS leather being exchanged right now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Good move by Nigri. She's done some damage, keep pressing to finish..."

O'Dell: "RIGHT HAND, BENNET AND NIGRI IS HURT! Jessica staggers backward and nearly goes down and ON COMES CHLOE! Bennet winging away now, driving the blonde into a corner and having at her. Referee looking in as Jessica, in a high guard, is being buffeted by hard, accurate leather banging off her gloves..."

Cassie: "She's catching most of it, but some good punches are getting through..."

O'Dell: "GOOD right hand, Chloe and Jessica wobbles and clinches. Ref got to be thinking about it. He's stepping in to break the ladies apart and Nigri slides out of the corner, but Bennet keeping her on the ropes, banging away with both hands and there's the bell! And, just in time for the blonde. Chloe. Wide."

Tess: "And Nigri's lead down to one, 38-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Bennet right after Jessica as we start the fifth. Nigri not even trying to hold canvas. She's backing and covering, playing defense, trying to run some clock here to get the legs back under her. Blonde needs time and space, but those are in SHORT supply at the moment..."

Tess: "Chloe knows she can finish right now, and there aren't many better finishers in the FCBA..."

O'Dell: "Bennet working the jab, setting up those right hands. Nothing sloppy. It's clinical stuff from the former Unified Bantamweight Champion who ROCKS NIGRI WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT! Jessica stumbles backward and CHLOE DROPS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Cassie: "And that might do it..."

O'Dell: "Nigri flat on her back. Chloe to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Jessica, wide-eyed, staring up at the referee. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 in comeback fashion is, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

McCarthy: "Lucky. After I deal with THE FRAUD, SHE may be NEXT!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "Rough start tonight, Chloe, but, not the first time you've had one of those..."

Chloe (nodding): "She came at me hard. Knew she would, because she's got the physicals and she had a statement to make."

Tess (smiling): "Did she make it?"

Chloe (nodding): "Yeah, I think she did. This girl is the real deal and ought to be getting more work. But, she's not the best bantam in the FCBA. That would be the girl who just knocked her out."
