Ming Xi versus Grace Elizabeth

Ming Xi: 31 years old, 5’10”, 5-6 FCBA + BBU combined since 2017, Free Agent

Grace Elizabeth: 23 years old, 5’9”, FCBA debut, Free Agent

The lone non-JMDD match of the night sees two Victoria’s Secret models squaring off in the ring against one another. Ming Xi’s coming off a huge win in the BBU and is looking to return to a .500 record with a win tonight, while Grace Elizabeth makes her FCBA debut. Both girls walk into the press conference and waste no time going after each other – verbally.

“Grace doesn’t even deserve to be an angel – she’s modeled for what, a couple years?” Ming asks rhetorically, “The only reason she is an angel is that they realized they needed someone young and thought that Grace would be enough of a pretty face to pass the test without much else.”

“At least I’m not going to fall on the runway, unlike you,” Elizabeth fires back, “Remember that, Ming? You fell. In front of the whole world. That’s why you’ll never be the model I am. And tonight, I’m going to prove that you can never match me in the ring.”

“In your dreams, just like your being a competent model.” Xi retorts.

Grace gets up and takes a swipe at Ming and the two girls tussle as security pulls the two apart.

Come time for the fight, the more experienced Ming Xi is the first girl to make her way to the ring, donning a white sports bra and black spandex trunks with white gloves, her hair tied up in a bun for the fight. Once the Chinese model is settled in the ring, Grace Elizabeth steps out, wearing a bright blue bikini with orange gloves. The brunette American has her hair in a ponytail for the fight, and she gets right into Ming’s face. The Chinese model stares right back at Grace before pushing her away. Elizabeth tries to get back at Xi, but the ref blocks her. She backs off as he calls for the bell, and off we go!

Round 1:

The rookie Grace gets out of her corner quickly with big blows as the fight starts while the more experienced Ming comes out with efficient jabs flying, the Chinese model using her reach advantage over her American counterpart. Elizabeth stops throwing her lunges and instead blocks the onslaught of jabs from Xi, and the brunette model steps forward as Ming repositions herself. Grace tags Ming with a left before digging a right into her ribs, but Xi fires out a right into Grace’s mouth, leaving the rookie with a stunned expression as the more experienced model clocks Grace with a right hook, sending the brunette spinning into the ropes. Ming pounces and seemingly plays whack-a-mole with Grace’s head as the brunette girl doesn’t know what to do until she just throws out a desperation right that gets Ming in her jaw, giving Grace enough room to land some body blows to knock the Chinese model back and the round comes to a close. Ming easily takes the first round, wide.

Round 2:

Xi again comes out of her corner confidently shooting jabs at Elizabeth from range and the young Victoria’s Secret Angel is stumbling backwards as she holds off the veteran fighter for the time being. Ming tags the brunette’s midriff with a right body blow before swinging at her head with a left. Grace groans as she takes the body shot and ducks the head shot. The rookie jabs two rights into Ming’s mouth, snapping the Chinese model’s head backwards and forcing her to go on the defensive. Xi gets her guard up as Elizabeth charges forward, whipping in rights and lefts into Xi’s body, steadily working her backwards. Grace showing promise as she wallops Ming with a right hook before slamming a right into Ming’s chest, drawing a shout out of the older model. Xi lashes out with a left that clips Elizabeth’s right cheek, but she can’t turn the tide and Grace drives a right into Ming’s nose and draws a trickle of blood out of the Chinese model’s nose! The blood drips onto Ming’s white sports bra and Grace hammers the model in her midriff as the bell rings. Grace taunts Ming after the bell and the Chinese model fumes into her corner as the rookie took it to her this round, and Elizabeth easily takes the round.

Round 3:

Though this may be the lone non-JMDD fight of the night, you wouldn’t know if from how these two models go after each other as both girls charge each other, Grace now with a full head of steam after taking the second round, and they start absolutely pounding the daylight out of each other. Grace trying to keep herself in close proximity to the slightly taller Ming as the thuds of gloves off of bodies rapidly fills the air. Grace hits Ming in her chest and much to her displeasure again, and the Chinese model sends a short but sure uppercut into the brunette’s jaw, forcing her to back off. Xi now goes into attack mode, jabbing the American twice in her mouth, busting open her upper lip. Grace with a stunned expression on her face as now the blood trickles onto her bikini top, and Ming tags the brunette’s chin with a left and she nearly goes down! Grace backpedaling as Ming chases – and the American plants her feet and pops the Chinese model back in the head. Ming backs off and the two girls lay off until the end of the round, with Ming striking back to take the lead again.

Round 4:

Grace dials back her aggression after Ming battered her in the third, but the American is still trying to keep up the tempo, going for a hit and run technique, never sticking around for more than two or three blows and retreating before Ming can find a counter. Xi is covering up early as Elizabeth just retreats a split-second before the Chinese model can land a blow. Grace slowly ups the aggression as the round progresses, slipping a right through Ming’s guard as the older model repositions herself. Grace fires off a left that bounces into Ming’s gloves and the Chinese model strikes back, driving leather into the brunette’s mouth. Elizabeth drops back as Xi starts to gain momentum, the taller model taking control as her jabs keep Grace further away, not allowing her to get into range to hit and run. Xi throws a big right in the final seconds of the round that Elizabeth dodges and slips in a body blow as the bell rings that Ming takes exception to. Grace already is back in her corner as she brings it back to a tie.

Round 5:

Ming races out of her corner, clearly still angry about the end of the last round, and fires a laser right into Grace’s mouth. The rookie lashes out wildly and whiffs badly, leaving herself open to a left from Xi to her mouth, drawing more blood from the American model’s upper lip. Grace charges Ming, shooting out a telegraphed right that the Chinese model easily avoids and Ming drives two rights into Grace’s cheek, just below her right eye, and the American model lunges after her Chinese counterpart. Xi neatly steps out of the way and hammers Elizabeth square in her jaw and stuns the brunette. Grace with a blank look on her face as the ref lets Ming wind up with an uppercut that she hammers into Grace’s jawline and drops her into a heap as the brunette crumples, rolling over such that she is on her back motionless as Ming towers over her, a fire in her eyes. The ref doesn’t even need to look at Elizabeth as he calls for the bell – your winner in a brutal KO5 fashion, Ming Xi!

After:

Medics flood the ring to tend to Grace as Ming mounts the ringpost, celebrating her victory to the cheers of the crowd. After celebrating for a bit, Xi returns her attention to Elizabeth, who is at least conscious now, and the Chinese model forces her way through the medics. Grace’s eyes zoom in and out of focus before they grow wide, seeing the other model towering over her.

“What was that about showing that you are better than me?” Ming taunts Grace, who sputters jibberish as tears flow out of her eyes before Ming bends over, pressing her finger to Grace’s mouth to silence the rookie. “It’s okay. Now we all know that you can’t compete with me.” Xi pauses, “And frankly, I don’t think you can really compete with anyone, other than the girls who have become the legendary jobbers of the FCBA who are here to boost records and make mediocre fighters look amazing.”

With that, Ming gets up and plants her foot on Grace’s chest, drawing a wimper out of the American, raising her arms again as the crowd cheers, giving her another moment in the spotlight before leaving the ring and striding right by Ana Beatriz Barros, leaving the Brazilian with a surprised look on her face.

Minutes later, Grace Elizabeth makes her way to her feet and leaves the ring, tears streaming down her face. She looks at the crowd and covers her face and stumbles into the barricade, drawing even more tears out of the young model. Ana Beatriz Barros leaves the mic and goes over to hug Grace Elizabeth, helping her to the back before rushing back to the ring for the next fight. A massive loss for the rookie, but a major win for Ming Xi, as she’s making a strong case for being added to a roster.
