Nicola Mimnagh vs Danielle Herrington

These two welterweight models certainly came to punch tonight as Nicola Mimnagh and Danielle Herrington boxed for an exclusive crowd last evening.
They split the first two rounds widely as both punched hard and quick at each other. The first saw Nicola really dig into Herrington’s body and in the second Danielle tagged Mimnagh’s face hard with some great punches.
The third round again seemed to be a hard punching one until the second minute when Nicola knocked Danielle down. Herrington was on her feet and checked by the count of 7. She boxed defensively for the rest of the round. Nicola won the round widely thanks to that knockdown. She smiled and posed as she went to her corner. Danielle had her body worked on but did not seem to be as out of the fight as some at the ringside thought. Salli Richardson and Jeri Ryan spoke to her as they worked on her.
The fourth round began with Nicola looking to work Danielle’s body again. But Herrington’s gloves were there. She hit Mimnagh with a right uppercut and left cross to her face. Those shots move Nicola back. Danielle advances and then gets into Nicola’s gut and soon she is grunting from Herrington’s punches. Nicola hits Danielle with a left cross to her face and then gets inside on Herrington with a couple nice hooks. Close punches were then exchanged before the round ended. A close round was scored but Herrington won it.
The fifth round opened with both fighters trading single punches as Nicola seemed to be moving Danielle back. She works a couple punches to Herrington’s face to put her near the far ropes. Mimnagh missed with a left cross and pays for it as Herrington throws a straight left just above her bikini bottoms. Nicola is winded as Danielle now seems to be punching her backwards. Mimnagh tries to defend better but is taking jabs and crosses to her face. Then a big straight right comes into her body as Nicola moved her gloves up. Another left hook AND MIMNAGH GOES DOWN! The crowd cheered as Danielle went to a neutral corner. Soon Nicola is being counted over as she turns to face the referee. Her corner yells for her to get up but 10 is counted and Mimnagh is in tears on the canvas.
Herrington poses in the corner as the bell rings. Then she walks to center of the ring and has her right glove raised.
Danielle poses some more for the cameras and fans. Ryan and Richardson then come in and congratulate her. |
