Both women sat on the set of the BBU TV to say their opinions of the tournament and of their opponent, with Bo up first wearing a red shirt and blue jeans, grinning as she sits down.
"I can't believe that I could be winning this tournament! I came into this tournament just wanting to prove myself and well I could be getting a title shot" says an excited Bo.
"Though don't get me wrong, I am definitely not sleeping on Melissa, she is a great fighter and someone I respect" adds Bo as she looks more serious.
That cheeky smile returns though as she says "but I expect to knock her out the first chance I get, I want this so badly"
Now it's Melissa up in a silver glittery dress, she has her smouldering smile on show as she says "I hope you guys are not writing me off"
She continues "while my tournament hasn't been all I hoped, I am aiming to finish strong and sadly for Bo; that means I am going to crush her dreams"
Standing up; Melissa finishes by saying "I'm going to be the one you all talk about when this tournament ends" smiling as she heads off the set.
Fight night in Mexico City's Arena Mexico, out comes Bo first with her trainer Nia Peeples behind her, she is full of smiles as usual with the cheerful woman.
She is wearing a red sports bra, with red trunks with gold stripes up the sides, red gloves with gold thumbs and red shoes, her hair is braided.
After getting into the ring; Bo jogs to her corner, where she mounts the bottom ropes to blow kisses to the crowd, then flexes her arms before she jumps down to warm up.
Now out comes Melissa with Henry Cavrill, she looks more like she is on the catwalk as she struts down the aisle with eyes firmly on the ring.
She is wearing a light blue sports bra, matching trunks with a green and red stripe up each side, blue shoes and gloves while her hair is in a ponytail.
Getting into the ring; Melissa points at Bo then at the canvas to show her plans tonight, grinning as she warms up as clearly she is confident of the upset tonight.
Both come to the center of the ring for the referee's final instructions, the fighters square up to each other as they simply stare into the others eyes.
When told to touch gloves they thud them together, returning to their corners ready for the bell to ring to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1: The early action sees both women feel the other out with their jabs, looking to find an opening to land their trademark power punches.
It's Melissa who lands the first real hard shot, parrying a straight before landing a right hook across the cheek of Bo.
The Italian follows up with more punches straight onto the face of Big Bo, forcing her onto her heels as Melissa keeps the pressure on her opponent.
Till Bo is able to land a jab to the nose of Satta, followed by a right across her cheek to knock her older opponent backwards.
Already the fighters are going back and forth; they seem similarly matched in terms of power as they look to batter the other into submission.
Late in the round Melissa slips under a jab; landing a counter overhand right that gives her the opening to land more punches clean to the face of Krsmanovic to knock her back towards the ropes.
Where Bo is till the bell rings to end the round, Melissa looking focused tonight as she jogs over to her corner, Henry telling her to keep watch of Bo's right hook.
Round 2: The fighters both start off trading stiff single punches, Bo starting to box more on the outside as she allows Melissa to come at her.
Melissa dips down to come inside; working the body with hard digging punches, till she gets nudged to create a gap between them for a right to land across the top of Satta's head.
When Melissa tries to slip inside this time; Bo moves backwards to land a counter right to the top of her head, followed by a left hook to knock Melissa back a step.
The Sirens fighter finds herself stuck behind her guard, Bo looking to break it open as she pounds the gloves of Melissa.
Melissa tries to fight out of her guard, but Bo is able to then smack the Italian on her face to knock her head backwards.
With the round ending; Bo looks over at Henry to wink at him, making Melissa look angry enough to shove her, the referee quick to step between them before more fists fly.
Round 3: This time both let their hands go straight from the off; the feeling out process looks to be over as both women land some leather will real ill intent.
Bo steps back to open up space; landing a right cross/left to the body, moving around Melissa as she looks to be too angry to think straight right now.
Allowing the Serbian fighter to counter Melissa, marking up the face of Satta to the delight of her corner team, much to the dismay of the Sirens corner.
After Henry yells at Melissa to box, she lands a double jab off the chin of Bo, dipping under a right hook to come up with an uppercut that puts Krsmanovic onto her heels.
Melissa pushes forwards as she now has Bo pinned behind her guard, who ends up on a set of ropes after getting caught with a straight to her nose.
Her head down; Melissa digs hooks to the body as Bo groans out, the round soon ending with Melissa telling Bo "I'm going to enjoy breaking you apart bytch" before whipping her hair into Bo's face.
Round 4: Bo looks to keep counter punching Melissa; problem is the older fighter is dipping down to dodge punches coming towards her head.
An overhand right catches Bo across her cheek as Melissa steps into the pocket to work, focusing mainly on the body as her head is dangerously close to the chin of her taller opponent.
Bo manages to create a gap with her left nudging Melissa back, where she lands a double jab off the nose of her quickly becoming enemy.
But as Bo looks to open up on Melissa; SHE MISSES WITH A RIGHT HOOK, LEAVING HER OPEN FOR AN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS HER TO HER BACKSIDE!
Henry yells "Yes!" At ringside as Melissa nods at him, 1...2...3...4.. Bo shakes her head as she rubs her jaw, 5...6...7...8.. She doesn't look too badly hurt as she stands up.
Once they are told to continue; Bo has to work on the back foot as Melissa charges forwards, punches landing off the gloves of Krsmanovic as she protects her chin from another pile driver like punch.
Forcing Melissa to switch up to the body, with several of her punches digging into the sides of Bo's jugs, making the Serbian hiss out.
The round ends with Melissa telling Bo "that's your first time down, next time you won't get up" as the fighters stare daggers at each other.
Returning to their corners with their faces marked up, Bo's body is starting to get a pink hue as Nia tells her off for getting caught so easily.
Round 5: Melissa looks to end the fight now judging by her marching straight on with punches aimed at the head of her opponent.
Who is boxing off the back foot; not looking to get caught out again as defensively she is looking good, blocking most of the punches aimed at her, only a few finding a home on the face of Bo.
Leaning out the way of a right cross; Bo counters with a left that lands near the temple of her opponent, making Melissa step back with a little shake to her step.
Suddenly it's Bo piling pressure on Melissa, landing more cleanly with her punches, knocking the head of the Sirens fighter back, sweat flying into the air as Melissa ends up on the ropes.
Where she has to cover up as Bo slams punches into her body, when Melissa starts to fight back, it leads to a fiery exchange between the two women.
Bo looks to win that exchange with a jab that causes blood to run from Melissa's nose, followed by a right across her face to put her back behind her guard.
The round ends with Bo now the one taunting Melissa; telling her "you'll never be good enough for him" pointing at Henry, leading to both trading a few more punches till order can be restored.
Round 6: The fighters head straight to the center of the ring to trade, sweat getting sent off them as they slug it out, neither fighter wanting to give the other an inch.
Bo hits Melissa on her bloody nose, allowing her to knock the Italian back onto the ropes, where she gets to land more to the face of her beautiful opponent.
Ending up with Krsmanovic getting clinched up; the referee needing to step in as the fighters grapple, the pair broken apart with their eyes locked in nasty glares.
They resume with Melissa now the one dipping under a straight, coming up with an overhand right that crashes into the side of her opponent's head to knock her back.
Momentum switches as Melissa now bullies back Bo towards a corner, where she rips in body shots when Bo covers up top.
It's Bo now who needs to clinch up, both can be seen spitting insults into the others ear as Blood can now be seen running from the nose of the Serbian fighter.
The final moments of the round sees the fighters stand to trade, a hard fought finish to the round gets a loud roar from the crowd.
The fighters sit on their stool looking happy to be getting cleaned up, their coaches tell them to take any chances they can, this fight is too close for the coaches comfort.
Round 7: The fighters trade stiff single punches as they look for an opening to take their chances, getting close to landing on the bloody nose of their opponent.
Melissa dips down to come inside, Bo lands a right near her temple though to knock her back to the outside, with a follow up jab land square on that nose.
Making Melissa cry out as Bo starts to open up with her punches, Melissa trying to match the volume of punches Bo is throwing, she can't though and ends up being pressed onto her heels.
Bo lands two punches across the nose of Melissa; SHE WOBBLES AS BO ADDS ANOTHER RIGHT ACROSS THE CHIN OF MELISSA, FINALLY A LEFT CRACKS HER OVER THE FACE OF THE ITALIAN TO SEND HER DOWN TO HER SIDE!
The Pretty Little Punchers fighter flexes her arms as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Melissa stirs as she reaches for the ropes, 4...5....6... As Melissa reaches, she misses and lands on her face, 7...8...9...10 ending up getting counted out!
Winner Bo Krsmanovic KO Round 7
After: That's the win Bo needed; she has won the Contender 6 tournament and will get a shot at the BBU welterweight title in future.
She rushes over to Nia to hug her, the two are fighting back tears as this is the best moment so far in Bo's career, this is what they have worked so hard these past few months for.
Meanwhile Henry helps Melissa to her feet, she looks shaky as she uses the ropes to stay standing, she looks furious with herself for getting knocked out.
Henry tries to console her but Melissa tells him "no" angrily, heading over to her own corner without his help as she isn't in the mood to be helped it seems.
As soon as she feels better; Melissa leaves the ring and marches up the aisle towards the locker rooms, eyes burning a hole through the floor as she will need to hope that she can win her final fight of the tournament to make this worthwhile.
In the ring Bo gets her hand raised by the referee, a big smile on her face as tears of joy trickle down her face, she gives a thumbs up to the crowd as they chant her name.
She won't get the trophy tonight, like Tiffany Mulheron who won last years tournament, she'll get the trophy after the next fight, though she'll be hoping to go undefeated unlike Tiffany.
For now it is simply about leaving the ring with her coaching staff, Nia promising they'll celebrate properly after the final fight for Bo, only the winless Jourdan Dunn stands in her way of a perfect tournament.
