If Cheryl Cole's flyweight reign was still alive then this would have been the next divisional title defense alas Diana Korkunova is the new 110 lbs BBU queen so this battle comes down to unofficial eliminator status for Zara Holland who firmly believes she can become the champion within the upcoming summer period: "I know Diana is a new champ and she's got a fight lined-up next month BUT I'm as good as it gets and it's a real shame I couldn't be the one who strips the overrated Geordie bimbo from the straps. But I still want to beat her up to prove just how good I really am so bring it on, bytch!"

Meanwhile Cheryl shows no signs of slowing down despite three consecutive losses across both sides of the Atlantic. Cheryl is very much in her groove but Zara shows proper slugging traits as well and wobbles the singer when she nails her with a vicious double combo on the nose. Ugh! Cheryl barks in anger and whips an overhand response from her heels but the blonde powers ahead with more facial menace and backs the former champion onto the ropes where she switches downstairs to punish some exposed tummy. Cole's moans are no longer a sign of anger as she struggles underneath the onslaught but secures a late clinch to slow the blonde down. Zara whacks one on the groin in response and tries to hip toss the Geordie brunette down before the ref steps in as both women seethe in verbal animosity to close out the round.

Round 2:
More high-octane offense to please the crowd but it's Cheryl who lands the big shots now as she wades into the blonde's body and catches her off guard a little. Zara tries to smack the overhand juice but wobbles forward and eats an uppercut drive on the chest that allows the brunette to cash in with a freebie drive before a mammoth right hook catches the blonde on the nose... Ugh! We have early blood here as Zara scowls in pain upon the damage and gets pounded onto the ropes with Cheryl working on jabbing speed dial. She buries the former Miss GB behind a tight earmuff and drops more harpoons down around the waist line which includes a proper dirty shot on the groin that folds the younger girl into spasms. Ref turns a blind eye on that one and Cole enjoys a steady ride thereafter banging more leather into her foe's soft tissue.

Round 3:
Zara's really upset over that previous round but she can do nothing about Chezza drilling her ribcage during the opening minute until she finds the seemingly wayward hook on the temple that throws the singer off her stance. Holland quickly pounces on the phone booth response and both women are in mind over matter mood before a clash of heads clams them down. Chezza riffles a quick hook on the nose moments after the command though and has Holland leaking blood again but this only ignites a furious head-hunting response from the wounded blonde. Cheryl dances away from danger and avoids getting trapped on the ropes while she drills the bloody nose with a steady run and sinks Zara with a belting hook on the liver area late in the going moments before crashing into her jaw with a wicked uppercut that leaves Zara on jelly knees at the bell.

Round 4:
Cheryl assumes the jabbing command and bangs quick assault into the blonde's chest which leaves Holland very hittable all of the sudden. That's the champion's skillset coming to the fore as she blows into the blonde's rack to cripple her in the center of the ring while Zara doesn't have the required footwork to avoid the punishment. Her response skims off the top of the singer's forehead and Cole zips a left cross on the nose to trigger more bleeding. Ugh! Zara's gloves are covered in her own blood now as she rides the desperate earmuff but Cheryl folds her with a dose of nasty midriff assault anyway and lands the big haymaker when she splits the mitts and tags the blonde's jaw with a wicked uppercut jackhammer. DOWN GOES HOLLAND crashing onto her back amid a loud ovation from the audience. The former pageant winner tries not to scowl too much here but smears more blood across her face when she tries to wipe whatever sweat from her pretty face. She's given a standard eight count but then is ordered back to the corner to address the seeping wound on her nose. Cheryl begin to play along the crowd and vows to "fuck the bytch up" next but even a spooked Zara survives the late pounce as woeful as it might look like. She avoids another close range juice and has Cole barging into her shoulder upon the bell which leads Denise van Outen to claim the pretender is indeed looking very bleak right now.

Round 5:
Cheryl wants to finish this one now as she steers her mitts into Zara's bloody face but the seemingly wounded blonde responds to the phone booth stance and whips a series on the brunette's boobs to slow the Geordie train down. Both women trade more head-hunting leather but Zara's almost too aggressive to allow her foe to stretch the elbows and another clash of heads throws the action sideways on the one-minute mark. Chezza refuses to back off but the younger opponent settles down in mid-range thereafter and neutralizes the full-scale attack before landing a single-punch response over the top that frustrates the long-time champion. Chezza runs her mouth again in order to tick the pageant winner off alas Holland stands her ground and keeps swinging upstairs to force the singer into a duck & weave closing period.

Round 6:
The plan is simple, work around that nasal injury and beat Zara into a bloody mess! Cheryl's glued on following it so much she ignores the slugging attempts from the younger foe who regains her mood as she settles for the gruesome phone booth tactics again... sure enough, Cole tags the blonde's face as she gets vocal in her KO pursuit but leaves too much open space downstairs and as Zara avoids another clash of heads, she bends into blasting a harpoon on the liver area that drops the brunette to the side... Cheryl squeals in pain but still wants to push off with a cross hook only for Zara to beat her to the punch and slams a brutal hook on the nose instead... Oi, Chezza! Blood errupts from the damaged nostrils and now both girls are wounded but the Geordie stunner is trapped on her heels and fails to raise her gloves in time as Holland NAILS her with a left/right double on the jaw. Ugh! DOWN GOES COLE!!! The former champion is unable to fight the gravity and crashes onto the bums as the blonde lets out a primal scream of joy. The count reaches six before the singer gets up and she wants more blood - like it's a proper slasher movie in the ring now - alas Holland drops the buzzsaw into her face and dominates the phone booth slugfest come the two-minute mark. Ugh! Time for some fancy avoidance for the Geordie stunner but she can't shake the furious drive off at all and Zara nails her on the wounded nose one hit after another and backs her into the ropes... blood spills everywhere from the wounded nose and Cheryl cries out when she's on the verge of some broken bones according to Denise in the booth... Zara just ups the drill and tears another bloody patch under the left eye while rocking the brown ponytail back & forth until she punches the gumshield out of Cheryl's mouth and literally leaves her out on her feet! Another quick uppercut is almost uncalled for but the ref apparently wants to see this one go all the way regardless... Chezza is DONE!!! She cries out one last time before dropping to her knees and FACE-DOWN AT HOLLAND'S FEET with her eyes closed moments later. Forget the count, it's KO6 Zara Holland!!!

AFTER:

This is a bloodbath for the ages here in the Battlelines Main Event and even Zara looks a little concerned she's had her nose cracked by the champion's assault. But she can ignore all that as she's defeated the best fighter in BBU according to several polls and maybe that gets her over the championship hump at the expense of Diana Korkunova sooner rather than later. It's a real shame the blonde sexpot couldn't enjoy this moment last month but she still plants her foot on Cheryl's back and celebrates with the audience who jumps quickly on the blonde's hype train. It looks like we have several fans of 'Love Island' in the stands tonight and Zara vows to dominate the division going forward: "That's right, folks! Cheryl's run is sooo over! I'm like the frickin' best right now! Don't say a word about that Russian kiddo, she's getting her butt kicked one way or another. It's only a matter of time! (...) I'm not invited to Cheryl's birthday party but cares. I know her wounds won't heal in time so everyone knows who busted her up like that! I'm her worst nightmare right now! And it feels sooo great!"
