Jennifer Hawkins vs Izabel Goulart
(Downunder Boxing vs BBU Independent)
(4-4, 3 KO vs 0-1)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: "Look, I know that ACB holds this big card in the next few days but since Krystal Forscutt is ready to roll in Europe again, I feel like I have to copycat her moves not to be forgotten again!", former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins expains the reasons behind her BBU comeback while talking to Kate Abdo before the fight, "I'm equally as good if not BETTER than Krystal so it's a no-brainer in the end. I know, that copycat thing looks bad or even desperate on paper but it will look a lot better when I knock Izabel's lights out!" (laughs).

Meanwhile Izabel Goulart believes she's learned her lessons following a rough BBU debut that saw Petra Nemcova knock her out in five back on the July PPV: "I know some people have questioned my choices but let's get real, I have to make a quick move up that ladder, I can't waste my precious time against random no-names. Jennifer has achieved at lot but she's like a local ACB star at best. She's kinda underperformed in the BBU thus far and comes off a long spell on the bench. Advantage ME!!!" (giggles) "Okay, I don't want to sound too arrogant here but I expect to pound her into a pulp tonight!"

Jennifer Hawkins wears a yellow bikini set and brown gloves. Long blonde hair straight. Izabel Goulart wears a red bikini set and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Jennifer settles in first with a high-octane jabbing which sends the brunette into defensive circles; so much for that pre-fight arrogance here as Izabel tries to respond from behind the guard but only bounces off the stubborn guard while Hawkins keeps picking her off with single-punching route instead. The former Miss Universe lacks the agile footwork however Goulart looks equally sluggish on her feet and fails to embrace the head-hunting assault down the stretch which fuels the blonde's approach according to Kate Abdo. Jennifer thumps the otherwise lacklustre model onto the ropes but takes too much time in setting up a proper haymaker blast so Izabel clinches her late to avoid further trouble.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second as Jennifer spends majority of the action chasing the seemingly spooked brunette around the ring. Izabel's lack of experience could affect her tactics but she soaks up too much head-snapping menace to be comfortable with it while Hawkins plugs away at her to gain more confidence with every second passing by. She traps the Brazilian in the neutral corner come the two-minute mark and gallops into her body; Goulart swings back with a desperate hook to connect with the blonde's nose alas she eats more shots to the ribcage and yelps in pain when she's unable to shake the Aussie woman off during the final stretch.

Round 3:
Downunder coach Nikki Visser has every reason to be satisfied with Jennifer's comeback tonight however Izabel finally shows signs of life early in the third when she tackles the hitherto dominant opponent to the body. Both women clash heads as they tangle in the center of the ring but the brunette recovers first and drills the exposed ribcage before clipping Jennifer's breasts on the follow up. She lands a couple of additional uppercuts on the chin to force the older woman back which forces a brief dire period with the blonde dancing on her toes and staying clear of the Brazilian's range. Izabel tries to smack her right up but bounces off the high guard in mid-distance while another late burst from Hawkins gets checked-down with a zipping cross on the mouth. Bell.

Round 4:
Izabel channels the uptempo swinging to find her groove in mid-distance whereas Jennifer's production stalls dramatically as she only grazes the brunette's forearms in a lacklustre effort from behind the guard. She tries to close the younger model down but eats another nasty cross on the jaw which allows Goulart to whip her onto her heels with an uppercut double. The Brazilian beats her foe for a quick overhand shortly afterwards and rattles the Downunder hopes when she fires a vicious hook on the jaw that SINKS Jennifer on soft knees.. Oh, boy... she adds a belting hook on the liver moments later AND DOWN GOES HAWKINS!!! Whoa! Most of the Wembley Arena crowd didn't see THAT coming and the former Miss Universe kneels down in the center of the ring while aching her shock out. She gets back onto her feet at seven but keeps blinking at the ref and it's obvious she really felt that Brazilian rally. She's allowed to continue but suddenly Goulart scythes her over the top and splits the guard WIDE open to demolish that pretty blonde face! Ugh! Petra Nemcova would be proud of that demo job as Izabel rocks Jennifer's head back & forth, side-to-side until the blonde flies back to the ropes with eyes closed amid more spasms... she's unable to raise her gloves anymore and gets KNOCKED OUT with a brutal right cross on the jaw that simply dropped her resistance into sub-zero level. SHE CRUMBLES ON HER RIGHT SIDE with a loud oomph and quickly drifts away into semi-consciousness as the Brazilian swimsuit model secures her maiden BBU victory!!! KO4 Izabel Gouart!!!

AFTER: That's a huge win for the lingerie model who finally lets it all loose as she twerks some booty over the fallen blonde: "Told ya, bytch! You're soooo overrated!" Downunder coach Nikki Visser squares up to the joyful winner to defend the Oz pride but almost gets taken down by a high-kick no less and Kate Abdo begins to wonder whether Izabel can achieve even half the success of her compatriot Alessandra Ambrosio going forward? Petra Nemcova was a mis-match from hell on anyone's debut but the second fight offered some real potential even though Goulart looked a little unsettled in the early stages. Once she unleashed the offensive weapons, it was a different story though! And Jennifer's downfall can't really be blamed on that lenghty spell on the sidelines since her last outing. She didn't do anything wrong in booking this fight but maybe Izabel is indeed much better prospect than her Nemcova debut indicated? We need to see more tape on the Sports Illustrated/Victoria's Secret stunner!

Final result: Izabel Goulart def. Jennifer Hawkins KO4.
