BEFORE: Alina Vacariu enjoyed a better than expected performance at the European Cup in the summer where she beat Elisabetta Canalis and she's back in BBU where she targets a swift destruction of popular German glamour model Micaela Schaefer tonight. The Romanian Invasion stable doesn't have a designated team leader however BBU TV's Georgie Thompson thinks Alina can answer the demand if she mounts a successful run of results in the foreseeable future: "Inna and Alexandra Stan have made some noise alright but Alina simply looks like an Alpha fighter! She beat Izabel Goulart before and she's got all the tools to become a true contender!"

Alina Vacariu wears a red bikini set & yellow gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Micaela Schaefer wears a black & white vertically striped bikini set & blue gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Micaela shows the fellow model no respect whatsoever and bangs a solid jabbing drive on target to trigger a hectic response from the younger brunette. Alina steps into her efforts and dissects the German's guard before a left hook nails Micaela on the nose and bends her to the side! Ugh! So much for that promising start that lasted all of twenty seconds as Schaefer begins to circle away from Vacariu's range and looks very desperate doing so! Alina refuses to jump after her in chaotic fashion and prefers to land single punches as she still controls the mid-distance. Meanwhile Micaela completely loses her range and cuts thin air as the Romanian methodically outboxes her from afar for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Alina remains a bit lethargic in her execution and allows Micaela to dominate the opening minute by numbers. However there's no real juice behind the German's efforts and Alina looks a little bored out there until she hears desperate screams from manager Corina Caragea who wants her Alpha fighter to stop fooling around. Micaela bursts into giggles but then eats a nasty left/right combo on the mouth and Vacariu blasts her high guard away pounding the older brunette onto the ropes. That's what the Romanian fans want to see but Alina hits the after-burners when she traps Schaefer butt-in-ropes and reverts into methodical jabbing with the German still struggling to embrace it. Maybe Alina wants to enjoy a lenghty session in the ring but she's clearly not firing on all cylinders here - and that's on purpose!

Round 3:
Micaela gets more aggressive as she flies from the gate but Alina's stubborn guard proves superior before the Romanian fires back downstairs and cripples the glamour model into loud spasms once she pummels her exposed ribcage. Micaela's defense has been shaky for several years now and she bides more time in mid-range but Alina remains the superior striker and lands one nasty hoom after another which slows the German right down come the two-minute mark. Schaefer tries to swing back but lands only a couple of punches on target and eats another laser cross hook on the mouth that wobbles her onto the ropes. Vacariu steps up and nails her on the chin with a swift follow up before adding a harpoon on the liver area that leaves the German scowling in discomfort at the bell.

Round 4:
Alina finally cracks a mean punch to open a round and she traps the German underneath a nasty barrage in the center of the ring which gives her a clear edge; Micaela tries to swing back but bounces off the Romanian's forearms and eats a brutal left hook on the jaw that almost decks her on the spot. She trips back to the side and Alina misses on the initial follow up before she barges a right hook into her boobs which sinks Schaefer into loud spasms for good. Uh-oh! Another big left hand tags the temple and Micaela goes flying onto the ropes where she's unable to escape the Romanian's wrath anymore. Alina dishes out one shot after another and tears down the otherwise ailing guard before she blasts a left hook on the nose that finally puts Micaela down for the count! Ugh! The German model sits down on her heels and takes the count all the way until eight but she looks more than rattled here and checks out behind a desperate earmuff when the fight resumes. She gets pounded back & forth and slumps into more shrieks only for the bell to save her when it looked another knockdown was ineviteable. Alina shrugs her shoulders and struts back to her corner but the writing is on the wall according to Georgie Thompson in the booth.

Round 5:
Micaela's inferior footwork prevents her from biding more time as Alina switches into a higher gear and BLOWS into the fellow brunette's face with pure aggression that breaks the German's resilience seconds into the fifth. Several hard punches crash off Schaefer's face as she's glued to the spot in center of the ring and succumbs to the leather abuse after thirty odd seconds. SHE DROPS TO HER KNEES and bends her head against the canvas as Alina mutters to her: "U done yet?" Yep, it seems like Micaela is done here. She sits down on her heels again and simply lets the count pass her by. There's some blood seeping from her nostrils as well which probably explains why the German more or less waved the white flag. KO5 Alina Vacariu!!!

AFTER: That's a very impressive finish from the Romanian model who admittedly didn't kick into a higher gear until the fourth round. Corina Caragea claims she's not that upset over Alina refusing to engage in more aggressive fashion earlier as she needs as much practice as possible and Micaela is an experienced fighter but on the soft defensive side. "We got a good win and that's all that matters! Alina knows the loss to Karolina Kurkova at the European Cup affected her elite stock and we're gonna try to book some contenders going forward. But this was a perfect comeback performance and we're gonna leave all the criticism for Tom Hilton & Real View!" (winks).
