Intro:
The opening bout here tonight in the Johan Cruyff Stadium sees Lottie Moss and Samaria Regalado want to turn their fortunes around, some seeing this as a battle not to be bottom of the pile in the Contender Six tournament this year.

Lottie is 22 years old; she stands 5'5 ½, holding a record of 3 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 4 defeats.

Samaria is 26 years old; she stands 5'7, holding a record of 1 win, that coming by way of knockout, with only 2 defeats.

As it stands this is a fight between the bottom two fighters in the tournament, Lottie Moss having the worst of matters as she still hasn't won a fight in the tournament.

While Samaria kicked off the tournament with a great win over Lacey Turner, it has been downhill since then against the veterans Rose Byrne and Alice Eve.

The fighters were interviewed by Georgie Thompson before the fight, first in the hot seat is Lottie, who comes in looking not in a particularly good mood.

First up she is asked about why she has struggled in the tournament so far, Lottie replies "it just hasn't been my tournament, I feel great going into these fights, one mistake or a lucky punch has stopped me, I still don't think the fighters that have beaten me are better then me"

Asked about her opponent, Lottie quickly says "Samaria proves my point, she fluked a win against Lacey in my eyes, look at her performances the last two fights, woeful!"

When Georgie says she thinks Samaria has been great against Rose and Alice, Lottie shakes her head and replies "that's your opinion, I guess you don't know what you are doing" standing up, Lottie leaves muttering "dumb bytch" Georgie looks upset at that as she stares at Lottie.

Next in the seat is Samaria, she shakes the hand of Georgie as they smile, Samaria gets asked how she sees the tournament going for her, she chuckles before answering "not great wouldn't be a bad statement right?"

Tucking a loose hair behind her right ear, Samaria adds "look I came into this tournament with no pro experience, so getting a win and pushing two elite fighters has been excited about what I can do going forwards in my career after this tournament ends"

She is asked about Moss, the American model tells Georgie "honestly this was the fight I felt I had the best chance to win when the tournament was made, I felt I could win it all of course, realistically though both of us are young, fit and inexperienced at this level, so she scares me the least of anyone" Samaria hugs the interviewer when told that's all she needs, getting a message of good luck before she heads off.

Fight night; out first comes Lottie with her trainer behind her, she looks fully focused tonight as this is very important personally for her, another loss will really make people question her abilities, she will want to end those discussions tonight.

She is wearing a white sports bra, white trunks with "Moss" in gold letters, white shoes with gold toes, gold gloves and her blonde hair is tied into a braid.

Stepping inside the ring, the Brit raises her arms in the air when she gets to her corner, her supporters cheering her as she bounces on her toes waiting for Samaria.

Who comes through the tunnel onto the hollowed turf, Samaria has her coach beside her as she waves to the fans in the packed stadium, she looks relaxed while walking towards the ring.

The American is wearing a red sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves with red thumbs, her hair is tied back into a braid.

Getting inside the ring and heading to her corner, Samaria flexes her arms for her fans, then gets down to warming up as her demeanor becomes more serious.

The referee brings the fighters to the center of the ring, neither has any prior bad blood, the intense looks on their faces though show this is still a very important contest for them.

Asked to touch gloves, they quickly bump them before turning back to their corners, the referee happy they are ready to go, signals for the bell to begin ten rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both fighters start off trading behind a stiff jab, Samaria looks to be wanting to land the bigger shots first as she swings a right cross that Lottie leans out the way.

While Samaria takes the center of the ring, it is Lottie who is landing the cleaner shots, dipping under a right to dig to the body before moving away.

Lottie moving side to side looking to be a hard target to hit, so far she is proving that as she is dodging most of the punches aimed at her in the first half of the round.

Landing a double jab into the chest of Lottie, Samaria lands a right across the face of the Cockney as she seems to freeze the blonde on the spot.

Samaria now is beginning to put several punches together, pressing back Lottie onto the ropes, where Moss pulls her into a clinch to stop her rhythm.

The final thirty seconds sees Lottie happy to trade in closer with Samaria, barking with effort as they clash in close up until the bell rings to end the round.

It's Lottie who looks happier after a strong start, Samaria being told by her coach to try to close off the ring more, stop Lottie getting off so easily.

Round 2:
Back out their corners with a stern look to their opponent, they again start off moving around the center of the ring, testing the others defences out as they look for angles to strike from.

A feint by Samaria allows her to see which way Lottie is going to try to dodge, landing a right across the face of the blonde to turn her head.

Allowing now Samaria to force Lottie to cover up, the American seems to have found her second gear, landing some nice combos around the guard of Moss to make her groan out.

Needing to shove back Regalado with her left forearm, Lottie makes her way off the ropes, slipping a right so she can counter with a left to the ribs, a right follows across the cheek.

Moss beginning to push back Samaria now to the ropes, targeting the body of her opponent as she puts her head under the chin of the brunette, trying to show off she can bully opponents.

Shoving back Moss now, Regalado lands a double jab square into the nose of the blonde, just missing with a right hook to the chin of Lottie just as the bell rings.

This time it is Samaria having a little smile to herself, getting some praise from her coach for an excellent round, Lottie being told where to change things up.

Round 3:
Samaria is out towards the center of the ring more jabs coming from the American as she looks to establish her control again, drilling several punches into the cheeks of her opponent.

Who slips a jab to counter with a right under the ribs, an overhand left smacks Samaria across the side of her cheek, forcing back Regalado a step.

Back and forth goes the action in the first half of the round, Samaria lands to the face of Lottie, when she misses though Lottie punishes her to the body.

As Lottie dips down to land a jab to the body, Samaria steps back before landing a right across the top of Moss's head, following up with two straight punches to the face to send back the head of Lottie.

Now Samaria builds off her success, backing up her opponent with another jab/straight into the beautiful face of Moss to send sweat off her.

The final seconds in the round sees Lottie stuck on the back foot, covering up as Samaria tries to break her down, most of the punches land on the arms of the blonde.

The round ends with Samaria raising her fists into the air as she heads over to her corner, her confidence is growing as her coach tells her to keep Lottie on the back foot till Lottie opens herself up.

Round 4:
With that confidence flowing Samaria is more aggressive while looking for a chance to bash Lottie to the ropes, Lottie needing to move her head more to dodge those punches.

A double jab again to the chest of Lottie gives Samaria the range set up for a right hook to the cheek of Moss, allowing her to back up the smaller woman to the outside of the ring.

More punches to the jugs and chest of Lottie are making her wince, a red mark forming on her chest, she is getting pinned back to the ropes, which makes her clinch up with Samaria.

Once they are split up, Lottie sees a jab coming and deflects it, an overhand left smacks Samaria near her ear as Lottie steps into it to send sweat flying.

Now it's Lottie bringing the fight to her opponent, both landing on the inside as Lottie nearly headbutts Samaria, the crowd cheering the fighters on louder.

A left forearm opens up space for Regalado to land a right cross, a left then smacks Lottie across her face as she gets backed up towards a corner.

Where Lottie is kept in the final moments of the round, the round ends with Samaria again looking strong, other then the opening round she has mostly had control of things.

Across the ring Lottie getting her marked up face cleaned up, her coach telling her to not to get overwhelmed, she can still pull this around, making her nod before standing up.

Round 5:
Coming out their corners quickly, Lottie is looking less tense as she ducks a straight, landing a right to the abs of her opponent, then a left to the ribs before moving to the outside.

Samaria though lands another beautiful double jab to the cheeks of Lottie, the aggressive American is looking to keep that pressure on Moss.

Who after being pressed back behind her guard, is able to slip a jab as she comes at Samaria with a left cross, a right then lands to the other cheek of Regalado as Lottie moves into space.

Things are starting to pick up for Moss, while she is still taking some punches into her face, her dodging skills are coming back to the fore as she slips punches before countering with hooks.

A straight though drills her to the top of her head, the left hook that follows sends sweat off the head of Moss as she finds herself knocked towards the ropes.

Trying to fight her way off the ropes though, the fans are loving seeing these two women go at it hard, it becomes a little scruffy the inside fighting as they nearly bump heads several times.

At the close of the round Lottie has something to put her hopes on after a much better round for her, her coach reminds her she still has plenty work to do to win this fight.

Round 6:
Lottie looks to be out her corner faster then before, Samaria not able to cut the ring off as easily now, with both locked in a jabbing war in the opening part of the round.

When Samaria tries to step in with a left hook, Lottie leans back before coming around with an overhand right that lands squarely to the chin of the brunette.

Back goes Samaria as her guard is open, Lottie swinging two more hooks into the jaw of Samaria, who stumbles towards the ropes to the delight of the Moss corner.

Trying to clinch up with Lottie only earns Samaria an uppercut to the body, THE OVERHAND LEFT FROM LOTTIE SMACKS SAMARIA TO HER CHIN, SENDING HER TUMBLING TO HER LEFT SIDE!

The comeback is certainly on now, Lottie jumping for joy as the referee has to remind her to go to the neutral corner, 1...2....3... Samaria turns to all fours as she crawls towards the ropes, 4....5...6... Grabbing the ropes she tries to stand up, 7....8... But Samaria stumbles from jelly like legs back to the canvas, 9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Lottie Moss KO Round 6

After:
After a horrible time of things the past few months, Lottie finally rights things for herself with this great knockout, she is beaming as she looks to the heavens, her fans probably wondering where that had been hiding.

Samaria on the other hand looks absolutely shocked at what happened, she was winning the fight hands down, a few mistakes crept in though and she got punished for them in brutal style.

The winner though doesn't care about any of that, she mounts each corner of the ring and raises her arms into the air, taking in the loud roars from her fans who've flew over to support her.

Jogging over to her corner last and thanking her coach for not giving up on her, a pat on the shoulder of Lottie from her coach as they say "don't mention it, use this as a launch pad to get back up those rankings" Lottie promising she will do.

While Samaria is finally back to her corner after help from her coach, she looks a beaten woman as she stares at the canvas, wondering what happened for her to lose.

Her coach needing to kneel down to give her a pep talks, plenty of positives they can take, just needs to get rid of the mistakes that cost her a second career win.

She has to watch Lottie get her hand raised, the winner jumping for joy as if it were her first ever win again, Samaria shakes her head but can't complain about what happened.

Leaving the ring with help from her coach, Samaria will need to build on the positives it seems as she heads into a clash with Maya Jama in her final tournament fight.

Lottie on the other hand is still celebrating as she hugs her corner team, one reminds her that now she is off the bottom of the tournament rankings with this win, Samaria going there thanks to the head to head record.

That makes the smile grow on the winners face, she leaves the ring with Rose Byrne in her future, Lottie will be hoping she can build off tonight for her future as she is definitely still young enough to grow as a fighter into maybe an elite one.
