(Fight Club UK vs Foxfire Atlantic Boxing)

Intro:

Tonights main event and the final fight of round four of the Contender Six tournament sees Lacey Turner and Rose Byrne clash, they have both looks impressive in this tournament, with Lacey still having an outside chance of winning this tournament.

Lacey is 31 years old; she stands 5'3, holding a record of 10 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 2 defeats.

Rose is 40 years old; she stands 5'6 ½, holding a record of 6 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 13 defeats.

This is a fight between the current tournament two and three ranked fighters, both have lost one fight and won two to stay near Alice Eve in that number one spot.

The big news heading into this fight is Lacey can still win the tournament, while Alice is now unbeaten in four fights, the final round of fights sees Lacey fight Alice, by virtue of head to head record if she won, then Lacey would win the tournament, that all hinges of course that she wins this fight.

A fact she makes clear when being interviewed by Georgie Thompson, she tells the interviewer when asked about it "first I have to get past Rose, who has shown like myself that she isn't going to simply be bowled over by anyone in this field"

Understandably she looks deadly serious, adding "I am confident though that I will beat Rose, while I have been a top fighter for years, Rose was average at best, this tournament has shown she can win big wins, I am not going to let her steal my chance at glory though"

While Rose is also looking intense when she speaks to Georgie, telling Thompson "I know my chances of even being still in the hunt after tomorrow are slim, Alice beat me and well she deserves to be running things at the top of the pile"

She continues "whatever happens I am after one thing, that is simply to keep winning and show that Katie McGrath isn't the only top bantamweight in my stable, I've been hidden too long and now I think people are starting to remember who I am"

Asked about her opponent, Rose replies "Lacey can certainly box, though she is more a power puncher with no real speed, a fact I will exploit till I have her flat out, she needs to get through me to win this tournament, I'm not letting her through so easily" Georgie shakes hands with Rose, before the Aussie heads off the set.

Out first is Lacey with her coach Katie Price, she thuds her gloves together as she marches towards the ring, only one thing on the mind of Turner, that is simply to win this fight and worry about tomorrow when it comes.

The Brit is wearing a green sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, while her brunette hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Stepping through the ropes into her corner, Lacey starts her warm up routine while Katie barks at her to make sure Rose is flat out corner to move her closer to a title shot.

Rose comes out with Sophia Myles beside her, she also looks like she means all business tonight, eyes firmly on the ring as she walks down the aisle.

The Aussie is wearing a green sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, gold gloves, while her brunette hair is tied back into a braid.

Getting inside the ring, Rose bows to each side of the ring before heading to her corner, Sophia telling her to stick to the game plan, getting into a fire fight with Lacey will only end badly for them.

Heading to the ring center at the orders of the referee, they square up nose to nose to show their opponent they don't fear them one bit, the referee keeping in close in case of things kicking off.

Instead they manage to keep their cools, a loud crack rings out when they touch up gloves, getting back to their corners as the crowd gets excited, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:

"Ding" coming to the ring center, they are circling with an intense look on their faces, both throwing out single punches as they are looking for better angles to strike from.

Lacey is the first to throw a big left cross, Rose takes it on her gloves as she takes a step back, Lacey moves forwards to try to be the aggressor.

After landing a straight into the face of Rose, Lacey just misses the left hook as the Aussie catches her with an uppercut that doesn't land perfectly, it looks to have gotten Turner's attention.

Heading into the second minute, Rose starts to slip punches before slamming in counter punches to the cheeks of her opponent, turning the head of the Cockney to make her groan out.

As they clash it is Rose winning the exchanges, dodging punches before drilling punches into the mouth of Lacey to keep her off to the outside.

The round soon comes to a close with Rose getting a nod from Sophia, Lacey being told not to let Rose breath, if she let's Rose stick to the outside then her face is going to get smashed in before she really digs away at Rose.

Round 2:

As they step back out their corners, Rose sticking behind her jab, trying to keep Lacey at range so the smaller fighter can't unload her power.

But as Rose moves near a set of ropes, Lacey ducks a jab to move inside to work the body of the older fighter with hooks, Katie yelling for Lacey to f*** up Byrne!

Rose needing to nudge back Lacey, landing a double jab to the top of Turner's head to knock her head, moving away from the ropes into space.

She can't get too far away from Lacey, both standing to trade as Rose seems to want to prove to Lacey she can match her for power, they bump shoulders as they get closer to work.

An overhand right slams into the ear of Byrne, Lacey now backing Rose into a corner with less then a minute ago, sticking to the body when Rose has her gloves up to protect her face.

Rose tries to fight her way out the corner, she isn't able to load up as much as Lacey can, the bell rings to end the round with Lacey seeing Katie jumping for joy after a much better round for her after the first.

Round 3:

Again Rose starts off the faster of the pair, drilling several punches clean between the mitts of Lacey to the top of her head, sending it backwards as Rose moves side to side.

After the first minute of control for the Aussie, Lacey catches her with a left cross to her cheek, a right follows up to the jaw of Rose to now turn her head.

Leading to Lacey being able to get in closer, forcing the issue at mid range, which is leading to more toe to toe exchanges to get the crowd more hyped up.

Lacey is winning most of the exchanges it seems, knocking back Rose towards the ropes when she lands stiff shots across the cheek of Byrne.

With less then a minute to go, a right cross slams into the mouth of Rose, blood starts to run from a cut on the bottom lip of Byrne, who steps back covering up more tightly.

Doing as she was told by her coach, Lacey isn't allowing her older opponent much room to get a breather, they go hammer and tongs in the final moments of the round.

At the bell they stare hard at each other, Rose wipes her mouth when they turn to their corners, seeing the blood and cursing herself for getting caught out.

Round 4:

It's Lacey going on the attack the faster of the two to start, drilling in several body shots as she closes the gap on Rose, head down as she nearly smacks it into the chin of the older fighter.

Needing to nudge back Lacey, Rose surprises the younger woman with an uppercut as she comes inside, a left slams into the eye of Turner to make her step back blinking.

With a gap between them, Rose is able now to box at range, slamming some hard punches into the top of Lacey's cheeks, sending sweat off her head into the air.

Dipping under a straight, Lacey is able to get in closer to work the body before sneaking in some punches under the jugs of Rose, looking to anger her as much as wear her down.

Back comes Rose though as she surprises Lacey by turning her into the ropes, a left/right/left straight combo into the face of the smaller fighter makes her head snap backwards.

The round soon comes to a close as Lacey is covering up, a great round for the Aussie after finding herself be the one under fire the past two rounds.

Sitting on her stool, Rose seems fired up to get back at Lacey, Sophia smiling as she loves the look in her fighters eyes, though Lacey's got a similar look as both women know how important a win here is for their careers.

Round 5:

Sticking to moving side to side while jabbing the more flat footed Lacey, Rose is starting to build up real momentum, throwing more punches in groups to mark up the face of the soap star.

Lacey isn't going to be subdued for too long though, she parries a right to counter with one of her own to the abs, allowing her to back up Rose in the second half of the first minute.

Back comes Rose with a right to the ear, a left smacks Lacey near her eye again, forcing Turner to step back as there is some puffiness forming around her right eye.

A target that Rose locks onto with her jab, doubling it up to back up Turner to the outside of the ring, where Lacey is being forced to cover up more tightly as she is under fire.

Lacey is struggling to fight out her guard, Rose showing patience not to throw bombs right now, just focusing on keeping Lacey moving around the ring.

Late in the round is where Lacey finally is able to make a move, deflecting a jab to move off the ropes with a left hook to the ribs, nearly headbutting Rose as she charges into her.

It isn't pretty but looks effective as Rose is now driven to the ropes across the ring, the bell rings as Lacey begins opening up on Byrne's body, making her groan out as the referee has to nudge a frustrated Turner away.

Katie needing to work on reducing the swelling around the right eye of Lacey, who thuds her gloves together to try to release some tension in her arms.

Round 6:

Those jabs of Rose are looking the difference right now, Lacey taking them around her eyes, making her cry out as more swelling forms around them.

Needing to almost bullrush Rose, Lacey uses her left shoulder to bully her to the ropes, where Lacey lands some stiff overhand punches to the sides of Byrne's head to send sweat flying.

Clinching up with Lacey, Rose is happy to get a breath as both just take a break, the referee needed to break them apart so they can continue.

Resuming the fight, it's Lacey wanting to push the tempo, getting right into the face of Rose with some stiff hooks up top turning the head of the Foxfire girl.

Pressing Rose along the ropes through the second minute of the round, it looks like Lacey has her under warps now, focusing on throwing big hooks to try to end this quickly.

But as they head into the final minute, Rose slams a left hook across that eye, a cut opens above the right eye of Lacey, who yelps out before taking a double jab to it.

Rose now applies the pressure to Lacey, who looks worried as she has her right eye shut, blood running down her right side of her face.

When the round ends the ringside doctor is up on the apron, looking at the work being done to patch up the cut in the Fight Club UK corner, Katie doing her best with the cut man to stop the bleeding.

Round 7:

The ringside doctor warns Lacey to protect that cut, but they let her continue, even as that eye looks close to being shut, Lacey still steps out looking to fight.

The big problem is clearly her vision, a fact Rose wants to make clear quickly by moving to Lacey's right, throwing punches straight into that damaged eye and the cut, reopening it up again to cause Lacey to bellow out in pain.

If the referee is thinking of stopping this fight, Rose seems to help them by landing an uppercut that wobbles Lacey, A LEFT HOOK LANDS TO THE TEMPLE TO SEND TURNER DOWN TO HER SIDE!

Lifting her blood stained gloves into the air, Rose looks to be celebrating already as she jogs over to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4...5.. Lacey barely stirs as blood runs down her face to the canvas, 6...7... It looks academic as 8...9...10 Lacey is counted out!

Winner Rose Byrne KO Round 7

After:

That's the end of Lacey's chances of winning this tournament, Rose has handed the title to the one person who beat her, that being Alice Eve who must be jumping for joy in her locker room right now.

It doesn't matter about that for Rose, she yells "come on!" As her fans are standing to roar for her, she keeps rolling back the years with these wins, Sophia rushing into the ring to hug her tightly.

The Fight Club crew understandably look deflated by this result, Lacey looked to have taken her early bad result in this tournament and turned it all around, now at best it looks like she will be third place.

Worse then that though is that cut, Lacey helped out the ring and to the back so it can be fixed up, Katie just shakes her head as this wasn't how it was supposed to go in their minds.

Meanwhile Rose has her gloves taken off by Sophia, the winner getting her hand raised as she kisses the referee on the cheek and winks to the crowd as she looks to almost be bouncing off the walls.

This victory meaning a lot to her as she takes another tough scalp on this comeback, some pundits saying this might be the best she has ever looked in her career.

Rose blows kisses to the crowd as she goes on a lap of honour, Sophia clapping for her as she has been by her side since day one of their careers in the BBU.

After all that is over, Rose steps out the ring to head to the back with her coaching team, it'll be interesting to see if Alice sends Rose a present for helping her win this tournament without needing to win her final fight against Lacey.

While Lottie Moss will be buzzing off getting her first win of the tournament earlier tonight, she might not be looking forwards to clashing with a resurgent Rose.
