BEFORE: "So, I guess Gemma really means business, huh? Well, I'm gonna punch her boobs off and that will be the end of her mini-run at the JMD straps!", former bantamweight champion Imogen Thomas appears to be in a fighting mood tonight as she plans to prevent long-time Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna from ascending into a title showdown versus Lacey Banghard in the near future.

Merna has bounced back into contention with an epic punchout of Sam Cooke at the Garden of Wrath PPV but she'll have to repeat that performance on hostile territory tonight as the Cardiff audience welcomes her with nothing but loud jeers as she's about to square off against the Llanelli native: "Look, I know Welsh fighters are struggling a lot in BBU these days and I might just wreck whatever hope Imogen has left in her. She's done as an elite fighter and when I knock her tits off that will become official! Sorry to give you the bad news but that's how it looks! Sam Cooke was trash but she's a better woman than Imogen!" (winks).

Not much sympathy between the two enhanced vixens ahead of the opening bell. Imogen refuses to touch gloves with Gemma and earns herself a lenghty death stare from the Hollyoaks veteran. Imogen Thomas wears a red bikini set & green gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Gemma Merna wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Round 1:
Imogen enjoys a rampant support from the Cardiff audience so she simply takes off and tries to bully the blonde upon the first impact. Gemma had this fast start covered but still a raw bantam power from the former champion drops her on the heels as Imogen works the uppercut drill on speed dial to gain the early advantage. She outworks the blonde in close range and lifts her boobs repeatedly to make Merna wince in pain before a quick left hook on the eye forces a break. Ugh! Imogen didn't like that regular punch and leaps after the younger woman but she fails to secure a similar connection as Merna shows that maybe teaching yoga classes helps your mobility as well. She yields too much estate for Denise van Outen to question her choice though and the brunette's spirited hassling should win her the opening round outright.

Round 2:
Another fast start from Thomas who gain the upperhand in close range as she beats Merna for the uppercut menace, both women keep duking it out in crowd-pleasing fashion but Gemma can't keep the tempo up past the one-minute mark and reverts back to the supreme agility which leaves the Welsh model chasing her around. Imogen appears to be winning the judges' votes again until she gets tackled over the top as she wobbles too far forward and Merna refuses to check out completely. She tags the brunette on the nose but neutralizes her just enough to follow through with a solid uppercut drive and dump Imogen onto the ropes. The former champion struggles to break away and soaks up more shots around the ribcage as the blonde piles on more pressure late in the going.

Round 3:
Imogen wins another opening tangle with her uppercut tactics and perhaps Gemma begins to feel some of that bantam power as she yelps in discomfort when the Welsh babe drives her onto the ropes to pound more jug. There's not much defense to speak of here and Merna can only clinch the older girl but Imogen still drops to punish her ribcage before blasting a left hook on the jaw that spins the blonde into spasms. Gemma fails to recover in time and gets blitzed on the rack again which traps her in the corner and Imogen goes for the immediate kill much to the crowd's delight! She pours more uppercuts to lift Merna's jugs against her slumping chin AND DROPS HER ON THE KNEES when the former Hollyoaks stunner simply can't take it anymore! Imogen shouts back at the fallen rival and thinks she's got the girl beat but Gemma refuses to give up the ghost and battles back to her feet at seven. She remains visibly gassed when the fight is resumed but Thomas just can't finish her off before the clock expires and verball taunts Lookout Atlantic manager Nicole Richie instead!

Round 4:
Gemma answers the slugging call early in the fourth and that's someting Imogen didn't really expect. She stormed out of her stool to resume the uppercut drill only to eat a crunching hook on the jaw that wobbles her into a east/west leather assault from the seemingly aching blonde. Both girls clash heads as they duke it out for jug muggin' supremacy and the delay helps Merna's cause who beats the overly-confident brunette for the punch thereafter. Gemma finds too much success working around Imogen's solar plexus and slows her down before drilling her to the body and wrestling back to the ropes. Thomas demands the ref to do something about this but gets crippled with a liver shot instead and soaks up a late flurry on the tummy that silences the Cardiff audience and has Merna shouting in delight at the bell.

Round 5:
Thomas is furious she's unable to knock Merna down again and becomes erratic early in the fifth while the blonde tears into her rack from both sides and glues her to the spot in the center of the ring. Imogen tries to land a big hook over the top but misses the target completely and gets whacked on the solar plexus as Gemma finds her range and dominates the phone booth angle. She lifts the brunette's boobs with a quick uppercut drive and dumps the glamour model onto the ropes before tearing a left hook into her mouth! Ugh! Imogen cries out in pain but has little time to react as Merna powers ahead with more vicious uppercuts on the money and almost shoves the Welsh babe through the ropes! Huh! Imogen tries to escape the trap but only bends to the right side and gets whacked on the exposed ribcage as Gemma rallies to beat her into a standstill just before the bell!

Round 6:
Imogen's no longer so aggressive to start another round and gets clobbered up the middle instead as Merna barks in her uppercut efforts that pile more damage onto the brunette's rack. Ugh! The Welsh stunner trips back to the side as she can't stay in another phone booth exchange before another right hook from Merna finds both jug & the chin on the carry up. Imogen bends forward with a whimper and gets SMOKED with a brutal right hook on the solar plexus that DROPS HER FLUSH ONTO HER KNEES!!! A nightmare for the Cardiff audience and Foxes' manager Frankie Cocozza who leaps from his seat in the VIP section! Imogen yelps in pain but still beats the count at eight alas Gemma piles into her rack after the command and pummels the aching model back to the ropes. Thomas tries to respond over the top but fails to match the blonde's intensity and cries out louder & louder as she gets her rack worked right over. She slumps into so much bother even Merna can't hold back anymore and just cracks a hook on the jaw to SEND THE WELSH WOMAN CRASHING DOWN AGAIN!!! Imogen collapses face-down at the blonde's feet and even the slowest of counts can't save her. KO6 Gemma Merna!!!

AFTER: Gemma yells out at the fallen opponent and quickly goes down to business amid some loud jeers from the Cardiff audience. She rolls Imogen onto her back and vows to perform some fancy yoga poses on her semi-conscious body before Nicole Richie shouts from the Lookout! corner: "Just smother the bytch OUT!!!". There's not much beaming soul left in Imogen's banged up flesh so she doesn't object when Merna applies the reverse breast-smother and drifts away into outer space following a few weak kicks. Ugh! Frankie Cocozza makes his way down onto the ring but not to check up on one of his proud Foxes but rather to invite Gemma for a private yoga session later tonight. He gets swifty rebuked by the buxom blonde though who eyes a bigger prize instead: "Now I'm ready to punch that golden bra off Lacey Banghard's saggy tits! And I can do sooo much better than Frankie!". She laughs straight at his face while twerking her enhanced assets to the camera moments later and well, that sight makes even the partisan Welsh fans celebrate this disappointing result which tells Denise van Outen that BBU appeal grows beyond borders... especially when you've got such a buxom talent like Gemma Merna available!
