At last 29 year old Amanda makes her debut in the ring, taking on 36 year old veteran Gemma, who hasn’t fought since being knocked out inside a round by Jessica Schwarz two years ago

The girls are both in the ring, Gemma in her black bra and knickers, Amanda in a baby blue one-piece outfit, both blondes looking determined

Round 1
Both girls clearly want to make a statement early – and Amanda is very quick! She’s nimble about the ring, and she’s rifling punches into Gemma’s face, landing four, five, six punishing shots in quick succession. Gemma is now defending, but Amanda hits her to the belly, and the gasp from the older blonde makes her supporters cringe, Amanda following up quickly, left, right – and down goes Gemma! The veteran fighter is down inside a minute, and gets up very gingerly at 7, the referee already concerned for her. There’s no concern at all from Amanda though, as the teenager wades into Gemma, splatting another pair of left hooks into her face, then, when Gemma’s backed into the ropes, to cries of ‘Finish her!’ from her corner, Amanda hits Gemma so hard in the belly, the older blonde loses her gumshield, and she can’t stop the teenager when she launches a left handed uppercut, Gemma’s nose almost exploding in a shower of blood as she’s knocked onto her back, and she won’t be breathing through that for a while, because she’s out cold

Result: Amanda Clapham knocked out Gemma Bissix in round 1

That was a fantastic first appearance for Amanda, and a it’s a sad sight to see Gemma being so brutally used, and maybe this is the end for her
