BEFORE: Fresh off unsuccessful bid to reclaim the bantamweight straps Nina Dobrev browses the other side of divisional spectrum with HISC's Priyanka Chopra jumping on a rare chance to steal the elite headlines. Big Choppy remains a mysterious late-blooming prospect that is pressed into elite challenges in wake of stablemate Naomi Scott turning some heads in the so-called meantime. Time isn't exactly on Chopra's side but she's determined to justify her potential; she hopes to catch Dobrev on the down turn yet the odds are stacked against her. Nina hasn't enjoyed the busiest of campaigns in 2020 but she vows to run the table on everyone who thinks she's never shaken off The CW second-tier sticker and should relinquish LCA 120 lbs Alpha status to Selena Gomez.

Priyanka Chopra wears a golden one-piece swimsuit & black gloves. Long black hair tied in a curled ponytail. Nina Dobrev wears a silver one-piece swimsuit with purple trim & purple gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Nina blasts out of the gate and overwhelms the older brunette with a steady jabbing drive but lacks the big punch to spoil Priyanka's counter-punching response. Both women settle into a hit & miss dispute where Nina's slightly quicker execution eventually prevails however Priyanka stays in her lane and refuses to buckle even when Dobrev's punches begin to stack up and snap her head worryingly too often. She slips by with another overhand attack but this time it's the Canadian who holds on in the slugging heat and outmuscles the Indian stunner regardless; Dobrev caps off a solid jabbing display with a nasty belter on the breadbasket that finally stops the older brunette from more aggressive ideas late in the going.

Rounds 2 & 3:
Priyanka tries to beat Nina to the punch and finds considerable success tackling the younger brunette to the body. She enforces the close range stance repeatedly and secures a dominant spell when an accidental clash of heads wobbles the Canadian actress onto her heels. Nina struggles to stretch her elbows and gets dragged into a phone booth tussle along the ropes as Chopra maintains the harpoon drive to test her foe's ab muscles in the process. Nina begins to feel the heat in the third and stalls the Indian's attack by clinching her outright but Chopra is not to be denied as she shakes the Canadian off and drives several uppercuts into her chest that drop Dobrev behind a desperate cover down the stretch. Huh! Priyanka even gets vocal as she pounds more tummy late in the third which leaves Nina visibly worn out and fuming at coach Eva Mendes during the interval.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Dobrev comes roaring back and overwhelms the menacing veteran with a mix of speed & pure wrath. Priyanka wants to slug it out herself but soaks up a crippling left/right combo on the chin and simply can't match the Canadian's speed dial approach. She hangs on in close range until Nina wobbles her backwards with more chin-checking uppercuts that slice though the high guard and send Chopra into a hectic retreat late in the fourth. More misery in the fifth as a nasty left hook on the ear drops Choppy into spasms and allows Nina to blast her around the ring to the point there's a visible swelling around the Indian's mouth. She eventually gets trapped along the ropes and soaks up more heat as Dobrev races clear into a commanding position and sinks the HISC veteran on jelly knees come the final stretch. Nina smells the knockdown as she piles extra leather into the exposed ribcage but the ailing Priyanka somehow survives the ordeal.

Round 6:
Nina gives the subdued fellow brunette no quarter in the sixth and this time she catches Priyanka early enough to dump a whole bucket of leather on her and send her to the point of no return... She beats her for another drilling overhand and camps into her face gradually slumping her into loud spasms as the ring becomes too small for escape purpose. Chopra gets trapped on the turnuckle and barely throws a punch in response as Dobrev grills her high guard and finally secures an open field to BLAST the battered Indian on the left ear one time too many... DOWN GOES CHOPRA!!! That was simply too much heat in the last six minutes for Priyanka to embrace and she collapses down on her knees with a loud whimper. That looks to be that... but Choppy rises from the dead at eight and she gets the benefit of the doubt much to Nina's dismay. The Canadian tries to blitz the seemingly wasted opponent one last time but suddenly finds herself out of energy or that piledriver punch and gets clinched into safety as Priyanka hangs on to survive another test of attrition.

Round 7:
Nina has Priyanka at her mercy but gets sloppy with her initial push and gets clinched to the very extreme thereafter as the Indian stunner refuses to go away without one last effort. It's almost mind over matter stuff here as she drags Dobrev into a phone booth lockdown where she thumps response downstairs with more headbutts delaying the action. Ugh! Nina swings one over the top and almost performs a hip toss to shove the Indian veteran away but Priyanka keeps coming back and plugs a nasty hook in the solar plexus to drop her opponent onto the ropes. Nina barks in anger and shoots wide in response but drives off her heels to catch Chopra on the nose only to let a brutal left hook on the liver instead and spin back onto the ropes with a loud whimper. She's left hanging on soft knees and just can't move fast enough as Priyanka NAILS her with a vicious hook on the nose again! DOWN GOES DOBREV crashing on her backside just as the clock expires! Saved by the bell! But she's leaking blood from the squashed nostrils and suddenly there's panic in the LCA corner as the wound can't be patched up soon enough!

Round 8:
Nina rises for the eight and wants to prevent a famous Chopra comeback but eats more wild overhands as the Indian woman catches a second wind and brutalizes the Canadian in a heads up swarming display of fury! She cleans out all the resistance and cripples Dobrev into a standstill bashing her face into a swollen mess during a speedo demo run in the opening minute. Nina goes all numb and drops her gloves just to Priyanka can SMOKE her with a monster left hook on the nose. Cue in a bloody nightmare... NINA CRASHES DOWN in lifeless spread eagle fashion and that's all she wrote, folks!!! KO8 Priyanka Chopra in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Most of the experts don't know how Big Choppy won this battle of attrition and she's too exhausted to even celebrate it. She collapses on her knees and bends her head against the canvas before she realizes Nina is basically out cold with torn up nostrils marking her gruesome demise. If anyone still had doubts why Priyanka retains the Consortium support it's time to accept she simply deserves it pure and simple!
