BEFORE: One can argue this is the best chance Lara Bingle finally snaps her losing streak as her tonight's opponent - Dutch lingerie model Sylvie Meis is still reeling from last week's pounding at the hands of Leah Perkins. Meanwhile Lara tasted defeat versus the other Perkins sister, Mimi, but believes she can outpunch a woman nine years her senior who must be feeling a little sore after last week's action: "I admire Sylvie for coming over here but she's be better off just sunbathing and drinking martini! She's stupid if her plan was to score some boxing wins in the meantime! Leah whupped her ass and I'm gonna clean her up too! What can possibly go wrong here?" (winks).

Lara Bingle wears a pink floral-themed bikini set & black gloves. Long blonde hair loose & straight. Sylvie Meis wears a pink bandeau bikini & orange gloves. Long blonde hair wet & straight. Both fighters are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Lara wants to find out how used up Sylvie really is after last week's fight and triggers a vintage flyweight slugfest to immediately gain a clear edge as she pummels through the high guard and snaps her opponent's head back in supreme fashion. Sylvie gets dumped on her heels very quickly indeed and just can't escape the slugging pressure as Lara hauls in one crisp shot after another and pounds the subdued fellow blonde back to the ropes. Ugh! Sylvie ducks low to avoid another hooking combo but eats a knee in the gut as Bingle gets so carried away she reacts in muay thai fashion... anything goes on home turf and Sylvie's protests are ignored as Lara shuts her down with a faceful of leather instead. Uh-oh! Meis appears to be totally overwhelmed here by the early attack but Lara is too predictable in her attacks - or maybe lacks genuine power - to end this contest inside the opening round. She keeps snapping Meis' head back but eventually gets clinched into safety as the Dutch woman fumes at the ref over the missed(?) knee shot.

Round 2:
More slugging galore from the feisty Bingle who sucks Meis into a punching vacuum and rips through her high-guard hand over fist! She glues Sylvie into punchbag mode and keeps beating her for every overhand punch until she cuts her lips up just past the one-minute mark. Meis spins to the side kicking up sand in the process but Lara can't quite maintain the high-octane blast in mid-distance and becomes desperate when she realizes the older blonde only bides her time before launching a proper response. Sylvie eventually runs out of real estate and rests on the ropes but Bingle still misses the target and eats a heavy cross-hooking response in the closing stages; Meis cranks up the jabbing volume enough to leave the Aussie fans annoyed but not enough to steal the round according to Sarah Cumming in the booth.

Round 3:
Lara races through the Bondi sand to resume the slugging dominance but... WALKS into a left hook on the brow ridge that stuffs her into a brief moment of outright shock... and Meis rips immediate follow up on the chin to spin the stunned Aussie to the side before clubbing a brutal shot in the liver area.. Oi, Lara!!! The younger blonde trips back onto the ropes and gets stuck in a hole while Sylvie tackles her with more ruthless body shots to turn the tables on the hitherto dominant woman. She simply wastes no time in drilling the Aussie midriff and Lara slumps underneath the steady barrage that wrecks her tummy into a bruised mush! Uh-oh! What the.... Sylvie digs her elbow into Bingle's boobs just to take more air out of her lungs before signing off her recovery with another left/right uppercut shot that leaves Lara spawled on top of the ropes with eyes closed at the bell.

Round 4:
Sylvie sits on top of the fellow blonde during a wicked slugging exchange early in the fourth, she works around her brow ridge again and cripples her with another ruthless gut-checking drive... Bingle clinches her thereafter but still gets shoved to the side... she slumps on her heels and just can't push off the loose surface as Sylvie beats her to the punch and damages the nostrils into a blood-seeping mess shortly afterwards. Ugh! Lara eats those orange mitts like skittles and suddenly can't lock a proper guard as the Dutch model wrecks havoc and silences the Bondi crowd with room to spare... Lara slumps on her heels, misses a weak shot from behind even a weaker guard before Meis SMOKES her with a right hook on the ear... DOWN GOES BINGLE crashing flat on her back!!! Sylvie struts back to her corner and flexes her right ankle while the slowish count bails Lara out of trouble... however the Aussie stunner keeps leaking blood from the damaged nostrils and Sylvie hammers more brutal punches on target taking full advantage of her foe's subpar resistance... Bingle gets pounded back to the ropes and slumps into spasms; she's unable to respond to the Dutch pressure while Sylvie is hell bent to rearrange her face by all accounts!!! AND THERE GOES THE TOWEL!!! BronzedOz trainer Nicky Whelan has seen enough and throws in the green & gold sheet onto the sand. It's all over!!! TKO4 Sylvie Meis!!!

AFTER: Lara slumps on her knees and bends her head against the sand before bursting into a tearful mess wholesale. Sylvie kicks sand over her and still wants a word with the ref over the missed knee shot from the opening round! Sarah Cumming suggests she might cool off with a drink or two soon but it's clear the Dutch stunner is a little upset over lack of respect shown her by the local media following the Leah Perkins defeat. Meanwhile Nicky Whelan faces another difficult decision as Lara's roster spot is in serious peril as she falls 0-6 in BBU competition. The raw talent like the Herbert twins ain't gonna be there on the free market forever so 2021 is the right time to make a contending move no matter how impressively Lara fills out her bikini!
