BEFORE: It's too early to say whether Toni Garrn has a genuine shot at entering the welterweight title picture anytime soon but the partisan Barclaycard Arena crowd is ready to crown the six foot blonde as the next best thing regardless. Even Black Eagles owner/trainer Gina Wild has graced the VIP suites tonight and the word around Hamburg is the stable contract is only missing Toni's signature.

On the other hand we have former BBU lightweight champion Manuela Arcuri who continues to moonlight above 130 lbs even though her results have been poor lately. A crushing loss to the otherwise mediocre Peta Todd spelled the end of her contender's career but apparently that opinion only exists in Denise van Outen's mind as Manuela and her coach Martina Colombari enjoy unusually warm welcome in Garrn's backyard. This Italian cougar can still turn some heads at age 41!

Toni Garrn wears a pink bikini set and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Manuela Arcuri wears a black bikini set with silver trim and red gloves. Long dark brown hair straight with bangs. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Toni wastes little time in connecting with the brunette's high guard and the shear pace of her attacks brings her early success as Manuela fails to embrace the heat and gets picked off repeatedly which only fuels the blonde's production. Toni makes the most out of her supreme reach and bullies the fellow model around the ring even though she lacks the instant haymaker delivery that would truly open the floodgates. Arcuri tries to respond over the top but only grazes the flesh and gets trapped on the ropes late where Garrn methodically dissects her high guard to score easy punches much to the crowd's delight.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second however Arcuri shows improved mobility and whacks the taller opponent to the body which briefly halts the Garrn charge. The Italian tries to send more leather downstairs but becomes too exposed up high and Toni quickly wraps her in another head-hunting pursuit which drops the veteran onto the ropes. Manuela just doesn't have the legs to escape the steady assault though and has to follow the brawling plan instead which almost ends in disaster when the blonde land a vicious one-two combo on the mouth to slump the brunette against the turnbuckle. Arcuri locks a late clinch to buy herself some time but Toni still shakes her off and scythes across the nose before a belting punch on the liver area cripples the former champion right at the bell.

Round 3:
Manuela accepts the slugging war of attrition early in the third but Toni's punching resistance is too much to crack for the Italian at this stage so she gets wobbled to her heels when the German model overpowers her in a heads-up clash in the center of the ring. Garrn finally seeks success downstairs to boost her chances and she bends the older woman to the side when she pierces her liver area... the clinching attempt is neutralized and Toni delivers a clean shot to the jaw to spin the aching brunette back to the ropes. Manuela sinks on her knees and gets NAILED with a vicious hook on the brow ridge next... she tries to jump to the side but her feet don't respond so Garrn comes crashing down with more head-hunting menace... she hoofs the Italian guard aside and bangs in three shots on target THAT SEND ARCURI CRASHING DOWN ONTO HER KNEES!!! That's some raw power finally on display from the German elite hopeful. Toni quickly struts back to her corner while the Italian cougar takes the full eight count before getting up. She remains trapped on the ropes when Garrn squares up to her again but this time a booming punch cuts the left brow ridge into a bloody leak and leaves the brunette aching behind a desperate earmuff at the bell. Ugh! Coach Martina Colombari pounds the ropes in frustration but the writing is on the wall for the Mediterranean guests right now...

Round 4:
Toni slowly enforces her head-hunting presence again and Manuela's desperate punches from behind the guard bounce off the German's forearms while making no impact whatsoever. The six foot model keeps dropping bombs from up high and pounds the lacklustre cougar back to the ropes where only the Mediterranean spirit appears to keep Arcuri upright. Alas that doesn't last for long as Toni breaks free to connect with the brunette's jugs and when she drills the solar plexus with a quick left hand, it's too much for the embattled tourist... DOWN GOES ARCURI AGAIN... Toni begins to salute the Hamburg audience while Manuela signals she can't catch her breath anymore and gets duly counted out moments later! KO4 Toni Garrn!!!

AFTER: Toni maintains her perfect record but she was rarely threatened by a visibly slower opponent who made her best impression during the walk-ons before turning into a pumpkin in the ring. The Italian entourage should enjoy the appearance fee but it was doom & gloom stuff once Toni began to spread the punches around. Denise van Outen reckons the German wasn't even forced to give it her all tonight and that might work against her chances of receiving that phone call from champion Smalls sooner rather than later. But the partisan Barclaycard Arena audience doesn't mind that, they came here to witness the next best thing at work and Garrn did more than enough to mark tonight's International Cup as very successful indeed. Moreover when Gina Wild and Collien Fernandes join the six foot blonde during the verdict announcement, one can almost smell that ink on the Black Eagles contract!
