Fergie vs Kylie Minogue

BEFORE: Tonight's card kicks off with a couple of big names from the music charts however BBU TV' Kate Abdo wisely points out that both Stacy Ann Ferguson aka Fergie and Kylie Minogue display more skills with a mic in their hand rather than boxing gloves. Fergie continues to blow hot & cold on this side of the Atlantic while Kylie never matched her sister Dannii's AWUBA & ACB production over the years. However it's all about selling those tickets and Wembley Arena is packed in full with several "I luv Kylie" and "Fergie rocks" banners visible in the audience. These two have loyal fanbases all around the world regardless of their boxing careers seemingly stuck in neutral for ages!

Fergie wears a black lace corset, matching knickers and red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Kylie Minogue wears a red basque top, matching hotpants and silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Kate Abdo expected a few giggles between the two singers in the early stages but Fergie goes strictly business instead and begins to stack up punches against Kylie's guard. The older blonde tries to respond in equally brawling fashion but gets pegged back when the American whacks her on the mouth with a cross double and adds a belting hook on the tummy. Ugh! Kylie wobbles on her heels and misses with a desperate heave from the back foot while Fergie lunges at her to connect with another hooking double. She pounds Minogue towards the ropes where the Oz cougar starts to groan in discomfort when the American ups the tempo of her attacks. The precision goes away in the final minute but the shear intensity keeps the older blonde weaving around on her feet unable to match Fergie's efforts.

Round 2:
Fergie's aggressive style proves problematic for Kylie early in the second when more clean hooks connect with her jaw. The Aussie guard simply isn't up to the task here as the older singer tries to escape the heat in mid-range but still gets caught with the American's aeria attack. Fergie barks in her efforts to dominate the fellow blonde in a classic slugging brawl but soaks up a rare combo on the mouth that stymies her attack. Kylie jumps into immediate follow up but despite her best efforts, she's unable to pound the American onto the ropes and only gets clinched instead. Fergie eventually bumps her off but misfires on the aerial connection allowing Minogue to escape into safety just before the bell.

Round 3:
Head trainer Lauryn Eagle would probably blast Fergie into pieces by now however Kylie doesn't carry that kind of experience and skill which means she bounces off the American's guard while trying to sting her in close range. Fergie responds with a vicious cross double that dissects the high guard and allows her to cash in with a vicious hook on the brow ridge. Ugh! Kylie sinks on her knees and simply can't lock her mitts in time so Fergie NAILS her with a brutal uppercut on the jaw to open the floodgates... the Aussie cougar wobbles into a piercing uppercut double that whips her onto her heels with eyes closed... forget about that guard, folks since Fergie BLASTS the stirred opponent with a wild hook on the temple SENDING MINOGUE DOWN ON HER BUM!!! Hah! The Wembley Arena roars in delight as the "Fergie is my queen" banners take center stage here... Kylie recovers upright at seven but stares at the fellow singer in pure disbelief which only fuels the American's prowl... Minogue heads for the exit door but gets trapped in her own corner where she soaks up more jabbing punishment as Fergie becomes a little erratic in her pursuit of instant knockout. She fails in her efforts which visibly upsets her but it's the Bondi Babes entourage is the one in real trouble now.

Round 4:
Kylie doesn't have the legs to avoid another Fergie rush and has to accept the slugging exchange which only exposes her vulnerable guard even further. The younger blonde stacks up punches on the fly and seemingly hurts the Aussie with her jabbing alone before a wild left hook finds the brow ridge and wobbles Kylie onto her heels again... Ugh! Kylie's almost too desperate for her own good now as she tries to push off and slam a quick overhand but Fergie still gets there first and blows the fellow blonde's nostrils into a blood-leaking disaster! Ugh! MINOGUE IS HURT!!!! She bends forward so much she literally slams her head into the American's boobs AND THEN DROPS ONTO HER KNEES... She immediately grabs her nose which only wipes more blood across the face and Lauryn Eagle has seen enough... she has the towel ready in case the chief doctor allows the downed singer to continue... but he doesn't and the fight is waved off a few seconds later. TKO4 Fergie!!!

AFTER: Kate Abdo reckons the Australian singer escaped a lights out knockout demise by the skin of her teeth even though Lauryn Eagle was ready to accept the mismatch with the towel throw. Kylie might draw the big crowds but her boxing skills remain very fragile even when facing a fellow cougar like Fergie. The nasal injury prevents any post-fight antics but the former Black Eyed Peas singer hopes to add to the sibling misery by calling out Dannii Minogue while having a good laugh with the announcer: "Who knows? Maybe I'm even good enough to give that cheap slut Cheryl Cole a beating? Huh? That sounds like a great idea!" (laughs). Kate Abdo doesn't share that opinion and neither does Lauryn Eagle who gives the flamboyant American a really long death stare before escorting the bleeding Minogue to the locker room. Let's hope we haven't heard the last of these Bondi Babes on UK soil yet!
