Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

BEFORE:
Winnick flashes a smile as she enters the press hall earlier, taking a seat at the long table before waiting for the rest of the proceedings to begin. The Doll’s dressed in a black tube top and denim jeans, her blonde hair wavy and flowy over her shoulders.
"So I wanted a big fight to end the year with...and Carmen delivered. I couldn't have asked for a better opponent than Michelle. She's a legend around here and…you know I love testing myself against the greats. And so far…I’ve been doing alright” She smiles. “I'm 3-0 against Hall-of-Famers. Not too bad, right? And I'm intending to make it 4-0 tonight. This year has been disappointing for me, no doubt, but winning tonight will put me at 4-4 for the year, which I can live with. Michelle is probably going to be one of my toughest fights to date… but I studied the tapes. SO many tapes.” Winnick laughs for emphasis. “I'm definitely ready for her. Is she ready for me? She better be! Bring it Michi!” Winnick looks over at Michelle with a final smirk.

Williams of course enjoying her HOF status from the other end of the room. The HISC starlet hasn’t had the most spectacular year either by her standards, but then again, she’s done more than enough in her illustrious career to look this confident at the table, crossing her arms across her chest as she replies:

“If there’s one thing positive to say about the Dolls, it’s Kat over here. She epitomizes the best the stable has to offer: her poise, respect and pure toughness. Not many girls would be so eager to fight me, not at her age. But hey, I’m here, willing and able to kick her butt. So I think we’re in for a hell of a fight tonight, whichever way this goes.”

Ladies square up at the photobooth and Winnick’s slightly bulkier figure means she’s packing more power with every swing. Other than that, both Hollywood blondes are of the same height and shape. Fight night hours later and our guest enters the arena first, Williams tying her short hair into a small bob on top of her head, yellow and black gloves shadowboxing on the ramp, dressed in a black sports bra and yellow trunks. She makes her way to the ring accompanied by the HISC team and the crowd is loving it. Winnick might be the crowd’s favorite here tonight but Michelle’s boxing repertoire is enough to earn her plenty of respect among even the most diehard Winnick fans. But noise levels rise even higher when Winnick finally makes her entrance, bursting from behind the curtains with a huge smile, the gorgeous blonde clad in her usual white and black sports bra and tights, similar-coloured gloves thrust into the air as she strides down the ramp with a grin, waving to the excited fans around her. The 43 year old actress, who JUST celebrated her birthday earlier this week, is followed into the ring by head coach Kristanna Loken and Carmen Electra for what is expected to be one of her biggest fights to date, and what a great birthday present a win will be for her tonight.

Referee calls this match to order and it’s clear the fans want the action to begin, cheering and shouting in their respective rafters. Ref waves his hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
A usual, balanced start from Kat Winnick, who’s always been the more tempered of the Dollhouse members. In part, it could be her opponent tonight, the ever-dangerous Michelle Williams, who’s also known for her defensive, balanced aggression. Ladies trade jabs from afar in the first minute, poking holes in each other’s defenses as they land early shots to the face and body. Nothing significant happens in this mutual dance, however, till the third, when Winnick shows off some of that power with an early jab-jab-straight combo that catches Williams off-guard for a second, blasting into the top of her eye and stunning her back with a grunt. A lesser woman would have given chase and tried to end this fight there and then, but not Kat, who grins and circles around for the next round of action.

ROUND 2:
Williams repays the action in kind, however, with an early left hand that streaks in hot, and scrapes the cheek. Katheryn grunts and weaves back, but otherwise remains undamaged. However, the Doll loses her cool as the punches keep comin’ at her, Williams showing her experience and seasoned hand as she controls the action with more precise punches fired towards the Doll, before weaving and blocking outta the way whenever Winnick tries to counter-attack with her own lumberous hook. Michelle definitely is moving lighter on her feet, and this plays to her advantage for the rest of the round, easily keeping her distance against the slower Kat. Wide round swings back to Williams, no doubt, leaving Kat evaluating her strategy going forward with a tired smile on her way to the corner.

ROUND 3:
Action picks up as Kat opts to test Williams’ defences a little more. Methodical swings at the head push Michelle backwards deliberately, and then, when Kat feels she’s got her foe trapped in a corner, she charges in, swinging, bashing hooks into the side of Williams’ arms and then a one or two hits landing hard on side tummy. But Williams manages to get out of range almost immediately each time, use her jabs to block Kat from chasing after her. Williams gets thrown off her high horse this round though, for the life of her unable to balance the scorecards by the time the bell rings, as Kat’s done slightly more with all those heavy shots landing to the body to edge out the round.

ROUND 4:
Though, those punches to the Doll’s face are also starting to add up: Kat focusing on heavy swings all this while, perhaps thinking her 40-year old foe is more than a little tired and ready to go down with a tiny swing to the head. But Williams is still moving like she’s 20, springing back-and-forth, arms raised, and shots aimed at Winnick’s head no problem, landing another early cross to Winnick’s nose in the first minute, which throws her entire rhythm off target. Ouch! Kat still hasn’t calibrated well for this Hall-of-Famer and her moves, and she spends the rest of the round blocking incoming damage and throwing her hooks back without venom.

ROUND 5:
Doll fires a lucky hook that catches Williams on the guard early, and Michelle looks flabbergasted for a brief moment as her head and upper torso get swung violently to the side from the impact. Kat’s power on full display, reminded that all she needs to do is land her shots to make it night-night for her blonde foe. But a follow-up swoosh hits the air in front of Michelle’s face, the HISC starlet already scooting backwards in a defensive stance. She’s faced off against plenty of aggressive fighters before, but none perhaps like Kat Winnick, who balances both power and grit on her side. Kat gives chase in a half-reluctant format, mixing her jabs with power hooks swung towards the blonde’s head, but doesn’t quite corner Williams again for the rest of the round. Still, she can be content with taking the fifth and taking it well, effectively pulling ahead now in terms of points as we enter the second half.

ROUND 6:
Williams looks deflated early, like a balloon with a puncture wound, quickly losing air as she stays behind a locked guard and constantly moves away from Kat. Kat exploiting, secretly smirking behind her own arms as she advances on the wounded blonde, tagging her on the forehead with a fast jab or bashing another hook into the side of the head. She takes the first two minutes no problem, and is on track for another shutout win, when there’s a FLASH of hands suddenly in the third minute, when Kat roared in to try and finish Williams off, but Williams locked and loaded, WEAVES to the side to avoid a knockout hook before bashing an uppercut into the base of Winnick’s chin!! OUCH!! Girls in close quarters combat by the ropes as they swing madly at each other now - little choice in order to stay alive / secure the win! Worried look on coach Loken’s face as Katheryn now looking dangerously groggy but still throwing everything she’s got at the slippery Williams, who takes some damage to her body but keeps her cool and GRINDS another uppercut into Winnick’s jawline, sending the older blonde reeling back!! Good lord! Tables turned as Winnick’s shaking her head with her eyes shut, barely putting up a coherent defense now as Williams smells blood, steps in to FINISH HER OFF and POWERS a cross-hand through her arms hitting the poor woman right on the temple and THAT’S IT! Winnick goes limp – She’s out on her feet the ref should stop this! But NO! Williams relentless, gets in TWO more clean punches to Kat’s unprotected face and the Doll COLLAPSES lifelessly to the mat on her side! BAM! IS THIS OVER?! Katheyrn lies splayed on her side, unmoving, eyes closed and drooling as her mouthpiece falls out of her agape mouth. Dear lord! This looks very over! What a brutal finish by the Hall of Famer! The referee wanting to give Winnick the benefit of the doubt but changes his mind after a quick look, the older actress is clearly finished and the ref has no choice but to end this contest!

Official Decision: Michelle Williams defeats Katheryn Winnick via KO6!

AFTER:
Trademark cocky grin from Williams as she proves to the naysayers once again that she still has what it takes to secure a win over tough opponents. A fist raised high as she bathes herself in the cheers and cries of her fans, before immediately heading over to Winnick to check on her opponent.

But Michelle can only stand and watch as it seems like it will be a while before Katheryn can respond to anything as Dollhouse medics rush to her, attempting to revive the limp blonde. A long minute or two pass by before Kat shows any signs of life, the crowd finally relieved and cheers her on as she is helped into a sitting position by the ropes. Still looking completely out of it, a battered looking Katheryn is shaking her head at the medics’ questions best she can, but ultimately, there’s disappointment in her eyes as she realises this is how she’s going to end the year.

Williams ever-gracious though (well, depending on who her opponent is), kneeling down and placing a hand on her fellow blonde’s shoulder, offering words of encouragement at the path ahead.

“She’s good. She’s super smart. Very skilled. Packs a wallop of a punch,” Williams later beams at reporters. “If she’d caught me earlier with a few more of those zingers, I’m sure our situations would have been reversed. I wish her luck though. She’s a hugely underrated fighter. I think she could have been very dominant in her early 30s….I guess we’ll never know. I’m just glad things worked out for me tonight. It’s a big win, and I’m honored to be here.” Classy words from the HISC hall of famer as she checks on Winnick one more time before leaving the ring to a standing ovation from some of the fans here tonight. A very disappointing result for the Doll who has slumped to a 3-5 record for the year, ending it with a negative win/loss ratio for the first time since joining the FCBA.

Katheryn and management will have to evaluate her road forward in 2021, and it will be interesting to see if and how she bounces back from this setback of a year. Here we go – the losing blonde finally back on her feet in the ring, which took 10 or so long minutes after that monster of a knock out. She quietly makes her way out of the ring and backstage with the support of her medical team as the fans do their best to cheer her on despite this stinging defeat. Hopefully we’ll see Katheryn back in action and kicking ass very soon!

Don’t go anywhere though, we’ve got the champion Bella Thorne coming right up!
