Heidi Range vs Vanessa White

BEFORE: Vanessa White is no stranger to charity boxing events having beaten Hannah Spearritt on the BBC Relief back in 2018 but it's more serious here in the BBU with Heidi Range ready to take her down in the Lioness Club HQ tonight. Heidi has enjoyed more success over the years while Vanessa finds herself scrambling for any fighting opportunity available and she vows to upset the odds and knock the blonde Mersey singer out!

Heidi Range wears a red crop top, matching hotpants & white gloves. Long blonde hair wrapped in a loose bun at the back of her head. Vanessa White wears a purple crop top, black hotpants & silver gloves. Long black hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Heidi establishes the early jabbing effort and outworks Vanessa in close range but skims off top of her forehead which allows the younger singer to tackle her from the inside. Vanessa rocks Heidi's head with a nifty double combo and scythes her across the mouth which sends the blonde reeling. Vanessa jumps after her with a hectic jabbing effort but fails to trap her along the ropes and eats a nasty cross hook on the nose; she wobbles forward with a quiet whimper and Range bangs an uppercut flurry to resume control as she pounds the brunette onto the opposite corner thereafter. White clinches her into safety to let the clock expire though.

Round 2:
More free swinging early in the second as Heidi outworks her rival but fails to pinch her with that desired haymaker and has to fend off a steady counter-punching effort from the younger singer. Vanessa barks in her efforts but only lands single punches into Heidi's face and gets bounced around following a swift harpoon on the liver area that catches her off guard. Heidi bangs more body assault in quick order and gradually dumps White into visible discomfort as the former Saturdays singer just can't work around those low harpoons until she finally clinches the Mersey blonde. However Heidi shoves her deep into the ropes come this stage and hammers more tummy to leave the brunette gasping for air at the bell.

Round 3:
Another back& forth jabbing struggle has both girls throwing several crisp punches without breaking the other's resilience. Heidi settles for the body assault again come the second minute but eats a wild hook on the jaw from the inside that allows Vanessa to jump on the head-hunting pursuit thereafter. Both singers clash heads but Vanessa recovers first and slams a wild uppercut into the blonde's jaw that drops her into spasms on the spot. Vanessa immediately pounces on the exposed tummy and drills the flesh backing Range butt-in-ropes where she cleans out shop and silences the KO Club crowd with another nasty uppercut that spins the blonde to the side right at the bell.

Round 4:
Heidi comes roaring back but skims off top of White's forehead again as the younger singer ducks underneath the looping swings and clatters into the blonde's midsection instead. Ugh! A couple of brutal punches stuff Range on the heels and she just can't react fast enough when Vanessa NAILS her with a thumping hook on the jaw moments later! BLONDE GIRL DOWN!!! Heidi gets dropped flat on her back but recovers from the knockdown at six and taunts the brunette over an allegedly "lukcy punch" for a while. However there's nothing lucky about Vanessa's follow up as she storms into the blonde's face and pounds her onto the ropes sending one cruel hook after another to shut the Mersey lass for good. Ugh! Heidi barks from behind the guard but just can't stop White from tearing her up to the point there's a small gash under the left as only the referee halts the beating when the clock expires. Ugh! Heidi looks very much worse to wear now and Lioness coach Mel B. hits panic mode during the interval.

Round 5:
Vanessa realizes her opponent is hurting and mops her face with more pesky jabs before drilling the exposed navel as well. Heidi tries to lock the high guard but bends forward following that gut shot and gets SMOKED on the nose with a brutal hook that dissects her cover for good before White delivers a head-spinning follow up on the left temple that FLOORS RANGE FACE-DOWN moments later! Ugh! Vanessa quickly struts back to her corner but even the slowest of counts can't save the Mersey lass anymore so the Lionesses have to take a loss on the chin! KO5 Vanessa White!!!

AFTER: This is a mild upset here as Vanessa gloats in victory and makes some gestures aimed at Mel B. in the opposite corner. Heidi remains horizontal on the boards for a while yet before she gets picked up by Mandy Capristo and escorted back to the locker room with her head hidden underneath a towel. Talk about an unceremonious exit from the ring! Meanwhile Vanessa tells BBU TV's Georgie Thompson that her career is "by no means finished" and she signs up for more of these alleged upsets whenever "some lousy bimbos feel ready to issue a challenge!"
