CELEBRITY BOXING AFTER DARK

Pre-Fight: “She got a few lucky wins against amateurs and has-beens, it’s about time she got in the ring with a real opponent and I’ll make sure she remembers in” Alyson exclaims before entering the ring in a red lace bikini and matching mittens.

“She’s as boastful as they come, cheap intimidation tactics won’t help her win the fight and she knows it,” Maya responds and makes her way towards in the ring in a black bra and panties combo with white gloves.

Round 1: Maya isn't getting intimidated that easily, she moves quickly across the ring and starts firing for Alyson's face at the first opportunity. Aly bites backs, pounding her body with vicious hooks. Maya doesn't take the punishment for long before going downstairs and sticking an uppercut to Aly's gut. She bends forward letting out a gaspMaya punishes her gut with another uppercut before sticking one to her chin. Two more hooks rock Aly’s rack and a cross nearly sends her to the canvas early on. She covers up, preventing further damage and makes her escape. Maya doesn’t immediately follow knowing that the vet is cooking up something. Aly keeps distance trying to catch Hawke off guard, she gives in to the illusion and drops her gloves for only a second as Aly comes rushing in but Maya sees it coming and dodges well. She punishes the blonde with two more hooks to the rack just in time for the bell.

Round 2: Alyson won’t let the younger girl bully her, she comes out confident, swinging wildly for Maya's mouth. Hawke protests with punches of her own but proves too slow as Aly's flanks leaving Maya to hair air. She capitalises firstly with a hook on the jaw then a rapid face jabbing making the young brunette see stars. She aggressively works Maya in close range easily flanking her guard and smacking her all over the body before moving back upstairs. She hooks for Hawke's cheeks backing the wobbly girl to the ropes where she slams a big haymaker just for good measure. Maya fights from the ropes, landing a few shots to Aly's temple but is still dazed and takes way too many punches in return to make a comeback giving the round to the blonde.

Round 3: The girls are not letting up leading to an action-packed round. Aly looks to extend her lead but Maya doesn't let her have it, pushing her off and giving her rosy red cheeks some leather. Michalka responds with a one-two jab combo drawing blood form Hawke's nose but not fazing her too much as she bounces back hooking for Aly's ribcage. The girls engage in a punch exchange and it's clear that Maya's methodical punching gives her the edge over the Aly's plentiful but inadequate punches. She tags the blonde with an uppercut on the chin making her tiptoe backwards as she sets up a cross knocking her down for the first knockdown of the night. She’s up at seven but still shaken from the punch and is now looking a distance from Hawke’s deadly right. Nevertheless, the brunette chases her down and forces her to a corner with no escape in sight. She probes Aly’s defences with a couple of jabs before going in with a hooking series to close off the round.

Round 4: Both girls look beat in their corners; bodies filled with red spots, cheeks both red and blue. Gloves are up and they're ready to march, stopping at mid-ring and resuming. Aly looks to do more damage on Maya's nose but she isn't having any of it, ducking well and covering up then snapping back with a jab or two at a time. Aly doesn't waste time trying to probe her upstairs and move down with prompt uppercuts. Hawke tries dodging but her legs aren't there, she gets caught with two more hooks on the flanks before taking a cross straight on the nose. She’s hurt but not backing out as she goes back to working Aly’s ribs, hurting the blonde but still taking heavy fire. Final minute approaches and the girls are still at it, both hurt but fighting with no end in sight. Alyson takes the round by a close margin with Maya not far behind.

Round 5: Not a very exciting round it boxing but slow and steady wins the race, the rounds have certainly taken a toll on both fighters as they are no longer charging each other at will, rather walking towards the middle in a brisk pace. The girls still bang away at the first opportunity. Aly slams multiple jabs to Maya's badly damaged nose while Maya continues pumping hooks to her red ribcage. It’s unclear who came on top during the exchange but Aly capitalises when Maya makes the mistake of leaving her midsection open to prevent more damage on her nose without noticing that Aly had a snug uppercut waiting for the perfect opportunity. Before realising two more quick hooks smack Maya’s cheeks and a left uppercut sends her tumbling down to the canvas. She beats the count but looks too battered to continue as the ref waves it off.

Post-Fight: “As expected she didn’t prove much of a challenge for someone like me, it seems like nowadays the FCBA will accept just anyone who looks like they might be remotely capable of fighting. Maya’s got a long way to go if she wants to play with the elites.”
