BEFORE:
What a disappointing end in 2020 for Nina Agdal, having lost the title rematch to Taylor Hill and narrowly escaping another round of fat-trimming within the VIX Lightweight ranks.

“Let’s just say I’m grateful that I’m still talking to you,” Nina says before the fight, choosing her words carefully from the press table. “Kelly, Georgia and I all had our differences, but I want to make it clear that I had no influence over their release. You’ll have to take it up with higher management. As for Morrone, I can’t speak for Caspian - maybe this is another one of his scouting missions, but personally, Camila and I have a score that needs settling.”

Agdal perhaps referring to the fact that Morrone brought Nina’s own ex-boyfriend to the show, the famed Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCarprio known for going through girlfriends and supermodels like a hot knife through butter. The Wolf of Wall Street actor himself is seen seated in the front row, smirking at the sight of his two love interests vying for his attention. When asked to comment on the proceedings, he politely declines, saying, “It’s between the two gals.”

Camila, of course, has been grilled before on her relationship to the weathered actor, and in particular, the huge twenty-three age-gap between them. When asked for her response to Nina’s remarks, however, the younger girl is surprisingly confident:

“Nina’s acting a little sour, huh? A little like spoiled milk. She just can’t seem to face the truth, like the fact that she’s yesterday’s news, and also, a yesterday-lover. I know I’m coming into this fight as an underdog, but honestly, I don’t have much to prove in there tonight. If I lose, I still have everything I could ever want, and if I manage to win… well, that speaks volumes about Nina and her future instead. I say bring it on, b*tch.”

Ladies come face-to-face at the podium, and the rest of the room holds their breaths in anticipation of a pre-match clash between these two lanky models. Nina and Camila of the same height and built, with the Vixen of course bringing her vast experience to bear, whereas maybe Morrone will have the backing of Mr Hollywood himself in the front row seat of the arena, cheering her on.

Thankfully, the ladies separate without further incident, striding backstage as the rest of the room awaits the next pair of fighters to show. Hours later, we’re back in the arena: Camila walking through the curtains first, strutting tall and proud in a leopard-print bikini and black shawl over her shoulders. Cameras catch the wide smirk from Leo seated by the ring as he watches his pride and joy strut down the ramp, holding up white gloves. Agdal’s face on the other hand is focused and steady as she marches towards the ring: no time for smirking as she enters in a baby blue bikini and red gloves, her blonde hair braided and in fighting form.

Ladies take their positions opposite each other in the ring. Referee calls for the touch of gloves but is met by stone-call silence and hated glares. Shrug of his shoulders and a wave of his hand, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Tall, lanky models get right into foxy boxing mode, striding forward with their arms loose and fists waving precariously in front of their chests. Of course, Nina initiates the first attack, slamming a quick right jab into Camila’s face to get things started, using her better experience and speed to push the newcomer around in the opening moments. Camila gets the first taste of competitive leather to the cheek, grunts as her head’s rocked backwards over and over, the impact of those stiff blows throwing her off balance. But what the newbie lacks in prowess she makes up for it with sheer tenacity, barreling into Nina later in the round with a wild flurry of lefts and rights thrown and let fly, simply swinging for the fences at Agdal in the hope that one or two punches would stick. Nina, not used to this kind of haphazard attack, of course, lets out a shout of pain herself as she takes a grazing glove to the cheek to end the round.

ROUND 2:
Camila gets reminded in her corner to pay more attention to her defences, and it shows here. She spends the first minute actively blocking and moving, managing to intercept Nina’s attacks a little more effectively this time. Agdal’s still the aggressor, coming in hot and fast and blitzing blows all over her opponent’s frame. One or two punches smack into the body or the top of Camila’s head but the majority are intercepted by her arms or hitting the air as Camila shows off her potential. Third minute sees Agdal groan as a right glove gets shoved in pass her arms and into her chin, as Camila surprises with a counterattack. Agdal shocked, bothered and breathing hard, forced to defend herself for the remainder of the round, with Morrone over-excitedly taking the fight to her with great leaps forward and even wilder swings, with the American landing several punches on the Danish model’s face.

ROUND 3:
Agdal retakes the narrative, blunting Camila’s early attacks with more powerful return shots sent straight into her arms, using her strength and steadiness to blast Morrone to the body for her earlier insolence. Camila lets out a grunt of surprise as the stakes suddenly get turned up, her arms wavering a little as Nina drives another overhand into the top of her head. Camila opts to turn tail and retreat for now, with Nina’s follow-up jabs chasing her across the ring. Third minute and girls actually tie-up in a wild, brawlin’ melee, arms wrapped around shoulders as they use free hands to shove gloves into the other girl’s cheek and tummy. But Nina manages to push her rival back into the ropes before the referee can close in to separate, slams a final kiss or two to the side of Camila’s body before the rookie can wiggle free.

ROUND 4:
BLAST of a cross hand right back as Morrone surprises Agdal early with a warning shot to the face when she wasn’t looking. Agdal complacent, most definitely, coming forward with her guard loose and a wide smile on her face. Camila ain’t having any of the disrespect, shimmies both her fists in front before unleashing another left-right jab combo to the nostrils, before another attack bashes Nina on the lips, as the newcomer continues to hammer punches into Nina’s arms. Agdal sent on the retreat in tatters, her head covered up with her hands, but her body taking a further beating, Camila emboldened, rushing in to try her hand at some bullying of her own. Nina’s in trouble on the ropes as fans on both sides of the aisles make their excitement known in the growing cheers. Cameras in the arena particularly zoom in on that widening grin on DiCarprio’s face by the side of the ring, at the prospect of his current squeeze dominating his prior. Nina tries to clinch up multiple times to save herself, using the rookie’s inexperience to wrestle her along and about on the ropes, pay her back with a thumping shot to the belly once or twice, but meets a growling Camila as well, who returns fire with a hook sent across the Vixen’s chin later, sending Nina reeling down the line, her mouth hanging open in shock. Bell rings soon after, however, which saves Nina from a humiliating first knockdown attempt.

ROUND 5:
Camila shows off her boxing chops indeed - definite potential in the ring as both ladies enter the fifth with a firm determination to win or go down fighting. Nina looks more and more frustrated at not being able to put down this rookie, however, rushing in fast at the bell and hoping to dominate. Camila holds on to her marbles in the first two minutes, covers her head in her arms as she weathers multiple flurries fired from the Danish girl. Agdal however mixes up her attacks north and south, scoring a couple of lucky and painful shots to the lips or the side of Camila’s chest, which draws loud grunts, Morrone looking as though she’s getting picked apart by the more experienced fighter. By the third minute, the contest is looking more and more one-sided, as Camila runs out of steam, her lips parted as she focuses more on fending off Nina’s attacks rather than throwing any of her own. All that’s left is for Nina to pick her opponent off from afar: precise jabs fired over and over again as Nina finally drives her rival into the ropes and then proceeds to bash her silly: Camila groaning as her head’s whipped left and right, any moment now in danger of losing her balance and go crashing down to her knees. Fans on their feet as Nina wades in close to RAM an uppercut straight into the rookie’s chin, and THAT SEEMS TO HAVE DONE IT!! Camila stacked upwards suspended for a brief moment in time, before falling face-down into a sputtering heap!! Referee performs his last rites as he hovers over the fallen woman, but Morrone ain’t making any moves to recover! Nina leaps into the air as he waves for the bell and the end of this match! It’s OVER!!

Official Decision: Nina Agdal defeats Camila Morrone via KO5!

AFTER:
Nina gesturing wildly to her ex-lover in the front row, Leo still left unperturbed with a satisfied smirk on his face, ignoring all the taunts and insults. For what it’s worth to the A-list actor, this has been a win-win scenario for him at getting to see two beauties beat the living sh*t out of each other.

Meanwhile, Camila’s getting looked over by the medics by the ropes, slowly brought around and nodding slowly as the official asks her if she’s alright. Well, not for long, we think. Because here comes Nina, grinding the salt into the wound as she circles back round, standing smug before pouncing - she pulls Camila up to her knees with two fistfuls of hair, continuing to taunt her to her shocked, almost pleading face, before delivering a couple of tight slaps across her cheek in a show of dominance. It’s a marked contrast to how both ladies felt coming into this fight, with Morrone happy to get tossed back down to the canvas with a shout of pain, and Nina strutting back to her corner, arms in the air, satisfied to have ended this rivalry for now.
