Sandy Moelling vs Danielle Lineker

BEFORE: We kick off tonight's action with a Black Eagles revenge-seeking mission as Danielle Lineker spoiled the other flyweight Collien Fernandes' debut over five years ago. She'd like to clean up Sandy Moelling as well and comes in as slight betting favorite based on her win over Kym Valentine last time out. On the other hand Sandy nurses a three-fight losing streak but claims she was handed an unfavorable draw and is much tougher than the Welsh model overall. Coach Gina Wild dismisses the usual match-making issues and urges Sandy to "slam dunk the vulgar bytch" but it's always easier said than done - especially for someone with such a mediocre record like Moelling.

Sandy Moelling wears a red bikini set & golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. Danielle Lineker wears a purple bikini set with black trim & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Sandy jumps into a high-octane attack and snaps the brunette's head back in quick fashion but eats a nasty hook on the chin herself as Danielle's desperate swing from the back foot neutralizes the German's attack against the odds. Both women tangle in the proverbial phone booth where Sandy finds more success down the stretch and backs the Welsh foe onto the ropes. Danielle refuses to back off even when she soaks up more punishment straight up the middle yet she has to eventually clinch the singer who plugs her in the exposed breadbasket when she's unable to break free wholesale. She keeps Lineker pinned butt-in-ropes for remainder of the round and shakes her glove in delight at the bell.

Round 2:
Sandy continues to land the better punches in another close range dispute but she has to rely on her work rate instead of outright power which keeps Danielle very much afloat despite giving away the artistic impression value. Moelling hassles the Welsh tourist around the ring as Danielle tries to stretch her elbows in mid-distance but this proves to be a bad idea as the German is allowed to showcase her superior mobility and pummels the model onto the ropes where she plugs her in the midsection to leave Lineker scowling in pain. Sandy also barges the brunette in the chest with a shoulder attack and chops her into spasms with a late harpoon flurry that triggers a wild response from the scattered audience.

Round 3:
Most fans around the arena believe Sandy will bulldoze Danielle over sooner rather than later but the Welsh tourist stuns everyone when she delivers a double uppercut bomb to sink the blonde on jelly knees early in the third. Sandy never expected such a powerful response from the hitherto struggling rival and learns her lesson the hard way while Danielle keeps thumping more uppercuts on the exposed chin until she dumps the stunned blonde onto the ropes. Danielle gets vocal as she circumvents the earmuff cover and whacks Moelling up the chimney. The relentless slugging pressure cripples the local favorite into spasms come the final minute and Sandy is simply unable to respond from behind the guard whereas Lineker lands unanswered head-hunting assault and leaves the German nursing a fat lip at the bell.

Round 4:
Gina Wild orders a high-flying attack but Sandy runs into a jabbing wall and suddenly begins to lose all the close range exchanges with Danielle working her to the body which gives the Welsh model the decisive edge. Sandy is left glued to the spot and she can only clinch the charging brunette but struggles to embrace the body attack wholesale and gets shoved back onto the ropes where Lineker head-butts her without a good reason. Ref steps in to separate the two hellcats but Sandy fails to cash in on a lucky break and eats more scything hooks before Lineker whacks her on the liver area right at the bell. Ugh! Moelling almost goes down in a heap but is somehow rescued by the ref alas the Welsh entourage believes the writing is firmly on the wall here.

Round 5:
Sandy is slow to get up for the fifth and gets picked off in the center of the ring with Danielle dissecting her high-guard at will before a belting change-up catches the singer off guard. Ugh! Sandy wobbles forward with a whimper and meets a crunching uppercut on the jaw before Lineker flies a left hook on the eye THAT DROPS THE BLONDE DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Sandy rolls onto her left side and struggles to recover from the knockdown; she makes a half-hearted effort to get up at six but sits down on her heels and bursts into spasms when she realizes her left eye is starting to swell in troublesome fashion. She is done! KO5 Danielle Lineker!!!

AFTER: There's just little hope for Sandy to turn her career around like stablemate Collien Fernandes did in the last few months. Even Gina Wild can't be all that upset over this result despite Sandy building an early lead on the cards that ultimately vanished due to Lineker's supreme comeback effort. BBU TV's Denise van Outen suggests the Eagles should upgrade their flyweight roster at Moelling's expense but it's not exactly a top priority right now so one can only speculate how long she keeps getting these undercard opportunities going forward.
