Intro:
Now it is time for the main event! Here in Antwerp's Lotto Arena Stella Maxwell has a homecoming against the tough American Jessica Clements, both have been in a slump over the past few months, who will step on the other to get out of their troubles and back towards title contention?

Stella was born in Brussels and lived there till the age of thirteen, now at thirty she returns to her home country to try to rebuild her career, she last won in 2019 over the dangerous Jaimie Alexander but since then has fell in her last four fights to knockout defeats.

A video was played from Stella over the big screens before the fight, Stella wearing a pink Victoria Secret satin robe tells the crowd "I can't believe I am back home and getting to fight in front of all you wonderful people, Jessica Clements I hope knows what she is getting herself into, I am here to make you all proud" a loud cheer rings out in the arena.

Teasing opening the robe, Stella replies "you'll have to wait a little longer", winking before a spotlight is aimed at the top of the aisle, there stands Stella with the same robe on as loud cheers greet her, Stella blowing several kisses with her pink gloves along with her hair in a ponytail, before she struts down the aisle on pink heels.

When she reaches the ring steps, the heels come off beside them so she can jog up the steps, getting into the ring soon after, Stella keeps the robe closed for now as she rests in her corner waiting for her opponent.

Who gets her own video as Jessica sits with a black tank top that shows her abs off along with blue denim jeans, Jessica tells the audience "I know you won't cheer me even as I have found visiting your country to be fun, that's OK as I am here for only one thing, that is to knock you out Stella, so you can bring your best but my foot is going to be on your face when the night is over", winking as the crowd mostly boo her.

The spotlight now goes to where she stands at the top of the aisle, Jessica ignoring the crowd as she heads to the ring, she is wearing a black satin robe with matching gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail.

Getting into the ring, Jessica pounds her gloves together as she stares across the ring at Stella, who stares right back in an icy exchange of looks, these two won't be hugging after this is all said and done by the looks of it.

When the introductions are read out, first Jessica is introduced to boos though some cheer when she gets help with taking her robe off to reveal a black lingerie set with black tights, she bangs her gloves together as her eyes are still firmly on Stella.

Who gets a loud roar as she reveals what is under the robe, black lingerie with pink trim, she also has on black tights as she bounces on her toes with her arms in the air, getting a pat on her back by her coach as they tell her tonight is all about her.

Coming to the middle of the ring, the two beautiful fighters touch noses as they stare each other down, referee keeping close as the final instructions are being read out, when they are told to touch gloves, it is more a quick swipe before they return to their corners, when ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" Off they go to a loud cheer, bouncing on their toes as they step out of their corners, quickly Stella gives the crowd something to cheer as she drills in a jab followed by a left cross through the guard of her opponent to knock her back a step.

It looks like Stella has caught out Jessica somewhat, with the American stepping back with her guard tighter as Stella comes at her, a one-two combo landing square into the chest of Clements to push her to the ropes, where a follow up right hook just misses the target as Stella really looks up for this.

Halfway through the round Jessica finally lands a good right cross to the cheek of the blonde, it's mostly been one way traffic since the opening bell but that punch allows Jessica to fight her way back to the center of the ring by landing a follow up double jab/straight into Maxwell's face.

Things start becoming more evenly fought now as they nearly bump heads while clashing at the middle, punches flying off both as defence seems to take a back seat, the crowd firmly behind Stella as she sticks in close to her opponent.

At the bell there's a loud Stella chant that has her smiling warmly to the crowd, her coach is telling her to keep focused on the job and not on what is happening around her, meanwhile Jessica might have thought she'd have an easy time, she learnt quickly there that Maxwell is here to fight.

Round 2:
Stella again tries to lay the groundwork quickly by charging at Jessica, this time the brunette knows what to expect so simply lands several counter shots cleanly across the face of Stella to stop the charge.

A double jab knocks back the head of Stella before a straight plows into her lips to knock her back towards the ropes, it's becoming a role reversal of the opener, Jessica herding Stella around near the ropes, getting clipped into her face in return but mostly keeping the blonde bombshell where she wants her.

Slipping a straight Stella still is showing some impressive fight, landing two right hooks to the body, just missing with an overhand left as Clements moves back a step out the way, a jab landing into Stella's face to stop her getting to the inside again so easily.

The crowd rallying behind Stella in the final minute, watching their favourite start to get her rhythm going again, both landing some pounding punches through the others mitts to mark up cheeks in what is becoming an energetic scrap between them.

When the round comes to an end Jessica knows she got the round on the scoreboard, she also knows she isn't going to have this her own way, sitting on her stool looking at her coach as if wondering what is going on, Stella meanwhile nods as she knows that wasn't great for her, still looking game to fight hard.

Round 3:
Not as quick to rush out her corner, Stella is more boxing with Jessica as they plough in more hard headhunting shots, Jessica looking to be landing with slightly more volume but Stella isn't worrying about her looks tonight, purely focused on getting a massive win for her career.

After the opening thirty seconds of hard fighting, Jessica misses with a left cross as she tries to step it in Stella ducking down to dodge then dig in two punches to the body that leads to an uppercut that doesn't land flush, it certainly gets Jessica's attention as she backs off.

On quickly comes Stella as she gives Jessica a shove to the chest that only gets a cheer from the crowd, referee maybe letting the crowd dictate their judgement as no warning for the shove, instead they watch Stella crowd her opponent on the ropes, whacking her around the guard when she can't strike up the middle.

Clinching up with Stella, Jessica asks the referee "what the hell was that?", getting a shrug of the shoulders from them, both landing some kidney shots in when told to fight out of the clinch wasn't what the referee meant, causing them to be forcefully split up.

Jessica manages to come back at Stella at more scruffy inside fighting up till the bell rings, Jessica shakes her head not happy at what happened, the crowd meanwhile are loving it as Stella gets a rye smile from her coach.

Round 4:
That shove still seems to be playing on Jessica's mind, Stella banging in more punches through her guard to push her back early, Jessica's bottom lip looking a little swollen now after taking a double jab flush onto it.

With Maxwell really turning the heat up on Clements, forcing the action around the ring with the brunette needing to fight off the back foot, struggling to really open up though as Stella is working hard, throwing in more punches then Jessica as she keeps walking forwards.

The only thing missing for Stella is that big punch right now, Jessica is defending herself well enough to block the hook attempts from Maxwell, drilling in more nice counter punches as they head into the final minute of the round.

Trying to step in with an uppercut, Stella misses as Jessica steps to her left, then a right cross bangs Stella onto her chin to turn her head, the switch comes on for Clements as she beats back the Belgium born woman across the ring with a flurry landing into her face, crowd yelling for Maxwell to fight back.

Final moments of the round sees Stella nearly sitting on the middle turn buckle of a neutral corner, Jessica switching up nicely to get around the guard of her opponent, at the bell both glare at each other then head to their corners, where Stella gets the swelling under her left eye worked on.

Round 5:
Trying to keep the energy up for the fight, Stella is making a few more mistakes as maybe she is letting her emotions get the better of her, Jessica showing off her skills as she bangs in more clean counters to send sweat flying off the blonde.

A right hook lands onto the ear of Stella, Jessica following in with two punches to the solar plexus of the blonde to make her groan out, STELLA TRIES TO FIGHT IN CLOSE BUT DOESN'T SEE THE UPPERCUT THAT LANDS FLUSH ON HER CHIN! GUMSHIELD DROPS OUT HER MOUTH BEFORE STELLA DROPS FACE DOWN TO THE CANVAS!

That has stunned the crowd as Jessica stares down at Stella, referee nudging her back so they can check on the knocked down woman, NOT EVEN COUNTING AS THEY SAY STELLA IS OUT COLD!

Winner Jessica Clements KO Round 5

After:
What a dramatic fight fittingly ended by a highlight reel knockout! Jessica can't help roaring "come on!" As she looks to the ceiling, breaking her bad run of form against a very game Stella here tonight, she jogs back to her corner to hug her coach, thanking them for helping her through this period of defeats.

The ringside doctor rushes in to check on Stella, safely turning her to her side then using smelling salts to bring her around, Stella splutters away blinking as she was truly out cold there, the crowd in silence as they watch to see how she will be.

After several nervous moments Stella is sitting up raising her right arm in the air to show she will be OK to loud cheers, even Jessica applauds her as Stella gave her a real fright in the ring, Stella gets helped out the ring as the doctor wants to run more tests in the back, this has been a terrible homecoming for the beautiful Stella as she shakes her head.

In the ring once Jessica has her gloves taken off, she heads to the center of the ring for the result to be announced, getting her right hand raised to a respectful round of applause, Jessica blows a kiss with her left hand to the crowd as a thank you.

Putting her left arm around her coach's shoulders afterward, Jessica poses for the cameras with a beautiful smile framed with a fat bottom lip, her right fist clenched as she raises it up to show the other lightweight contenders what is coming for them.

Leaving the ring to head to the back, Jessica looking like a weight has been taken off her shoulders, she has been struggling since the Siren's stable cut her, maybe this is the start of her return to the contender ranks in the BBU.
