BEFORE: It's never easy when you have to fill in on the undercard for fellow rival singers or compatriots but such is the fate for Vanessa White and Rhiannon Fish tonight. Vanessa must have starred at the BBC Boxing Relief back in 2018 but she remains buried in a crowded flyweight division where even bandmate Frankie Bridge seems to earn more opportunities despite an inferior record.

Meanwhile Rhiannon has no excuses after she succumbed to Leah Perkins in beach boxing rules last summer. She might ask for a shot at the other sister Mimi if she beats Vanessa tonight but even BBU TV's Charlie Webster calls it a stretch! Has Rhiannon's stock truly dropped this low in the last few months?

Vanessa White wears a black crop top with pink trim, matching hotpants & pink gloves. Long black hair tied in two braids. Rhiannon Fish wears a light blue bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Vanessa gets the early jump and outworks the Aussie brunette with some feisty jabbing before clocking her in the jaw with a powerful hook as well. Rhiannon tries to fire back over the top but struggles to feel the range off the back foot and gets bounced around the area as Vanessa cranks up the jabbing volume to dominate the opening minute. Rhiannon lands some single punches thereafter but remains in retreat mode until she runs out of real estate and gets pinned onto the ropes where Vanessa plugs her in the tummy. The British singer keeps piling more leather and renders Fish numb at the bell which leads into some verbal taunting from the older girl as well.

Round 2:
Rhiannon finally manages to use her superior range to land some nice head shots on target and slows Vanessa's high-octane attack but then eats a scything cross on the lips and wobbles to her heels again. Vanessa cashes in with immediate jabbing blast and backs the Aussie woman onto the ropes where she glues more leather into her midsection to drop the younger brunette into a clinching stalemate. However White shows some core strenght and punches herself out of the hole and lands a brutal left hook on the ear that bellows Rhiannon on top of the ropes. Ugh! A well-measured left hook finds the otherwise exposed solar plexus and FOLDS FISH ONTO HER KNEES much to the crowd's delight! Vanessa keeps taunting the fallen opponent which delays the count alas Rhiannon looks vulnerable even when she gets up at seven. Vanessa tries to knock her lights out almost immediately but fails to land that killswitch punch and gets pulled back by the ref as Rhiannon is saved by the bell.

Round 3:
White barges her way onto Rhiannon's face and gives her a nasty lump under the left eye; she fends off a half-hearted counter-punching effort and quickly begins to bang in more body shots to drop the subued Aussie into a standstill in the center of the ring. She ducks underneath a looping shot and SMOKES Fish from the inside crashing into her jaw with a vicious uppercut... Uh-oh!!! AND DOWN GOES RHIANNON AGAIN!!! Lioness coach Mel B. is ready to throw in the towel but Rhiannon is left down for the count in spread eagle fashion and this one is over!!! KO3 Vanessa White!!!

AFTER: The Saturdays might be officially done as a music force but Vanessa vows to build her reputation in BBU which has been tarnished by years of mediocre results. Bandmate Mollie King is considered a genuine flyweight contender and Vanessa thinks she's miles ahead of Frankie Bridge when it comes to pure boxing skillset. "The Boxing Relief was just a preview. I'm not anyone's frickin' punchbag here! Bring on the next tramp!", Vanessa signs off her impressive night with a double kiss onto the cameras and she has truly turned up the wick tonight - even though Rhiannon is a low-hanging fruit given her dismal run of results in recent months.
