CELEBRITY BOXING AFTER DARK

Tonight we have Ili Cheng of Revolution Boxing, 1-0, fighting Katya Jones, a free agent, who has a 6-3 record. Katya arrives in a sports bra and spandex shorts, both black, and Ili arrives in a white bikini.

R1: Katya nearly takes Ili’s head off with her opening strike, but Ili strikes back nearly just as hard. Katya’s opening blow has shocked her, though, and she is scared to get close to her opponent. This allows her opponent to take more risks and succeed when she would have not if Ili was braver. It takes not two minutes before Katya forces Ili to the ropes, and slams a few punches into her stomach. Ili tries to strike back, putting her entire body behind a strike at Katya’s chest, but takes another hard shot to the stomach for her trouble. After this she merely defends against Katya, trying to find a hole in her guard, but finds none.

R2: The first two minutes has Ili defending, and her defense is impeccable. Katya’s strikes are blocked with expert precision, and this brings her to rage. She lashes out harder and harder as the seconds go by, without a goal other than to bring Ili down, without a target other than Ili, but could not make any strikes find home.

One such strike sails by Ili’s head, far from its intended target, opens her up. Like Georgius with the dragon’s underbelly, Ili wastes no time sinking her fists into Katya’s exposed body, and Katya soon falls. Jones tries to crawl to her feet, but she has expended too much energy in her rage, and falls back down.

Winner: Ili Cheng via KO2!

Post-Match: The founder of Revolution Boxing nods to himself. Another enemy of the revolution taken out, he thinks to himself, as he recites the names of the enemies who still stand. Topping that list is Bethany Lily April, one who has not fallen yet, and threatens the success of his revolution.

That sort of power is either your greatest tool or the most irksome thorn, depending on where you stand relative to it. How I wish that power were under my control, but alas, it plagues me.

As he guides Ili from the ring, stratagems swirl within his head.
