BEFORE:

"Yes," says Lindsay with a smile, "It's hard to believe it's been five years since I made my debut here. Those years haven't been as active as I'd have liked. But, tonight is another opportunity to show some things. And, that's exactly what I'll do."

"She's no pushover," says Gemma with a nod. "She's long and she can box. But, she's not coming out on top tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Human Behavior' by Bjork, and here comes Victoria's Secret Angel Lindsay Ellingson!"

McCarthy: "ONE FCBA win. This might be Weirdo's new go-to..."

O'Dell: "Ellingson down the aisle and into the ring. Helped off with the robe, and, the crowd again appreciative of the way the blonde beauty looks in that deep blue number..."

Cassie: "But, I'm sure SHE couldn't be a centerfold..."

McCarthy: "You're finally LEARNING, Scabbo! Too skinny!"

O'Dell: "Aaaaannnnddd that's 'London Calling' by The Clash you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Gravesend Gladiator', Gemma Arterton!"

Tess: "Gems another Front Street light looking to get a chance to win the belts back in 2021, and, she definitely needs the 'W' tonight if she's going to get that shot."

O'Dell: "Gemma into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's looking good in that violent number we've seen before. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Gemma. Mac?"

McCarthy: "ONE FCBA win. Arterton!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Ellingson making with the jab and she's using it effectively to create some space and get her box on. Lindsay has the reach advantage on Gems and she's making good use of it at the moment. Arterton doing some recon, looking for ways past..."

McCarthy: "Ellingson moving very well."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. She's shown before that she's plenty athletic. Arterton patient. She's not going to force anything. She's willing to work the feet, look for opportunities to get to her spots and get off. But, for the moment, she's not getting many of those. Ellingson doing a good job of keeping her at range..."

Tess: "And on the defensive. Lindsay pretty busy this round."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. We're coming down the stretch now, and the blonde's had much the better of things. Good combination there from Ellingson, adding some additional points to the lead she's built up over the full three minutes, and there's the bell. Lindsay and not close."

Cassie: "And, Ellingson takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Lindsay working the jab, trying to enforce distance. Brunette angling, getting inside the jab now and getting off, backing the model up. Gems stepping forward, grabbing canvas, backing Ellingson up again. Lindsay getting out-powered right now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Yep. She's got to get that jab on and keep Gemma off."

O'Dell: "Can't do it at the moment. Arterton continuing to take canvas, force her rival back. Blonde firing back in counter, but counter-punching is all she can manage at the moment, because the brunette is fighting lead now, and she's taken control of things in a major way..."

Cassie: "Ellingson going to need to adjust. She's not going to win on these terms."

O'Dell: "Likely not, as the brunette continues to pour on the pressure. Gems really in rhythm now, and that's not a good thing for the blonde. Lindsay backing and covering, lands a good right hand counter, but Gems backs her up again with a solid flurry and there's the bell. Not close again. This time, Arterton."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Ellingson showing more movement, giving a little ground, giving herself a bit more time to get that jab on and slow down Arterton. And, it's working, after a fashion. Gems still able to get to spots and get off, but, not consistently, and that's making a difference..."

McCarthy: "Like I said, this is what Lindsay has to do, keep Gemma off."

O'Dell: "Managing to do that now, not all the time, but, enough of the time to make this more of a two-way round. Gems a nice combination there. Lindsay responds, gives some ground, circles back behind that left. Gemma patient, working hard, looking for her opportunities..."

Tess: "This is one of things that makes Gems such a good fighter. She's always patient. Never gets sloppy."

O'Dell: "Down to about twenty seconds to go. SHARP exchange there, and both ladies landed some solid punches. Ellingson giving a little ground behind the jab again, circling away and there's the bell. Much closer than either of the first two rounds, but Lindsay gets the points..."

Cassie: "And moves back into the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Blonde working the jab and the feet. Brunette angling, looking to get to spots and ROCKING ELLINGSON WITH A RIGHT HAND! A NASTY straight right from Gemma and Lindsay is HURT! Ellingson backed up to the ropes immediately and Arterton making with the heavy leather..."

Cassie: "Lot of time in this round. Lindsay is in TROUBLE."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. Ref looking in closely as Gemma calls in artillery strike after artillery strike. Arterton looking to finish, but, again, not getting sloppy. She's setting up those rights with the jab, working some body to try to bring the guard down, but concentrating upstairs..."

Tess: "Ellingson doing a good job defensively."

O'Dell: "Definitely is, and, as we head down the stretch, she's looking like maybe riding this out. Gemma continuing to pile on the heavy leather, but the last seconds of the fourth are ticking away and the blonde is still on her feet. There's the bell. Shutout, Arterton, but Lindsay survives."

McCarthy: "And, we're all even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Arterton on the offensive, backing the blonde up with hard shot. Lindsay still looking a little buzzed. She's giving ground, countering in spots, playing defense as Gems cleans up and looks to finish up. Brunette, as ever, patient. She's setting everything up with that heavy left jab..."

McCarthy: "DO NOT CALL IT A 'FRONT STREET JAB'!"

O'Dell: "RIGHT HAND, GEMMA and Ellingson is hurt again! Arterton with a straight right that sends the blonde wobbling backward. Lindsay quickly forms the tight earmuff along the ropes and GEMMA DROPS HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK! What a shot from Arterton!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiigggghhhhtttsss. The party's ohhhhhverrrrr...."

O'Dell: "Gemma to a neutral corner. Lindsay down on her right side parallel to the ropes. Ref's count at three. Four. Five. Lindsay rolling to her belly at six, draping an arm over the bottom rope at seven. Eight. Nine. Not going to happen. TEN! Ellingson can't beat the count and it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is 'The Gravesend Gladiator' Gemma Arterton!"

Tess: "Not unexpected, but, still, good stuff from Gems."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Gemma Arterton, and, Gems, good, solid win tonight..."

Gemma (nodding): "She can cause problems in there with that length. And, she can box. But, like I said, she wasn't coming out on top tonight."

Tess: "So, what's next for you?"

Gemma: "You know what the best thing about having management is? I don't have to worry about that. I just train, show up, and fight."
