Hailey Clauson vs Behati Prinsloo

BEFORE:
Lots to like on paper here, with Hailey Clauson set to square off with Behati Prinsloo for ten rounds of Welterweight action. These two have yet to meet in the ring, but they’ve each faced off against mutual opponents before, including Hannah Ferguson, Big Bo Krsmanovic and of course, Kate Upton. 

“At least I lasted a round longer against Upton than Hailey did,” Behati says, a little smugly, from her seat at the press table. “It’s surprising that I already have one more fight than her this year alone, and she’s supposed to be the one signed to a stable.”

The Namibian model is looking stunning for her age, her tummy bared and toned as she pushes her strawberry blonde hair towards the side, laughs a little at her own joke but obviously drawing a deep glare from Clauson across the table.

“Says the girl who got herself released from TWO stables. Behati’s been tossed around like an unwanted ping pong ball - no wonder why. I can tell nobody likes her attitude, including me,” Clauson bites back.

The sultry Siren certainly has the tools to stand up to Behati’s bragging tonight, with the two blondes almost the same height and built, though Clauson’s packing a little more power with her bulk. Besides that JMDD title loss to Kylie Jenner at the start of the year, Clauson spent the good part of 2020 knocking out girls like Georgia Mae Gibbs and Alina Vacariu. Let’s see if she can sustain the same momentum in 2021!

Hours later, ladies are settled into their respective corners, arms up and ready to rumble! Prinsloo is dressed in a simple black bikini, red gloves, whereas Clauson is in bright red, yellow gloves on each hand. HERE WE GO with the sound of the bell!

ROUND 1: 
Behati starts off very arrogant at the bell, arms barely up or locked, that smirk still on her face as she channels inwards and immediately gets socked to the face by one of Hailey’s drifting right hands. Clauson punishing her foe for her loose guard, strictly business as she pushes in with power shots, shoves another right hook into the side of the head as Prinsloo keeps getting caught in close quarters fighting. Serve the Namibian model for playing it so cool as she now struggles to get the fuck out of the way and save herself before she drowns utterly. Hailey not helping her out of dire straits, that’s for sure, powers another low hook into her abs before almost taking her head off with a strapping right swing. Close of the round and Clauson’s clearly taken it wide, with Behati barely knocking one or two fists back into the Siren’s face for the duration of this round.

ROUND 2: 
Behati finds a little more success with punching Hailey to the body good and early, sending in combos from afar right as Hailey tries to storm in and dominate once more. Prinsloo not allowing herself to get cornered like last time, keeps her arms loose but tightly formed in the face of each of Hailey’s wild swings in her direction, then shoots her hands out fast and rapid, landing crunching straight combos into Clauson’s body to fold the big blonde over multiple times. Clauson has to get over these tank traps in the sand if she wants to crawl in and bash Behati about. Unfortunately, her movements are slowed this round with having to fend off these many body swings her way. And for now, both ladies take a round a piece and stride back to their corners, thinking they’re each in the lead.

ROUND 3: 
Hailey gets too predictable upstairs, throwing the same combo at Behati’s head over and over again: a left-left fast jabbing series followed by a wide right hook swung high and mighty, designed to take her foe’s head off. Behati, however insolent she may be, is one smart cookie, eyes wide and DUCKS as each combo sails directly over head, leaving her free to punish Clauson to her thick body, strapping lefts and rights sent into the paunch and belly button, driving the air from the Siren’s lungs with a loud HOUUUFF at one moment in the middle of the third. Prinsloo dominating all of a sudden, alternating shots between the head and body, trying to get the battered Clauson to give up more air from her frame. Poor Clauson gets chased about the ring for the remainder of the time, determined to pay more attention to regain her stamina.

ROUND 4: 
No dice or breathing room for Clauson, however, as Behati sails in after her once the bell strikes for the fourth, the Namibian model hounding the head with one-two combos and then sticking her gloves into every inch of the blonde’s body she can find, squeezing shots in between or around the arms and drawing another loud grunt when she snags one of Clauson’s breasts to the side. Hard hit to Hailey’s pride, as the Siren growls low after she squeals high, comes at Behati with even more rage than before. It’s for all the marbles all of a sudden as Clauson RUSHES her insolent foe, bashing hook after hook into her arms and body, going into an absolute RAGE in the final seconds. Behati has to stay calm and survive, but takes a glancing shot across the chin, which DAZES HER BAD!! Prinsloo in TROUBLE as Hailey lands another snap uppercut to the jawline, which CUTS her strings on the spot! DOWN BEHATI PRINSLOO GOES!! It’s a fourth round KNOCKDOWN attempt from Clauson, who really drove her point home back there!

Thankfully, Behati’s still alive, shaking her head as she climbs back to her feet before the count hits 8. Her hopes of winning this are still alive if she can snuff out her opponent’s unbridled rage and negate her power! Meanwhile, Hailey’s looking smug from her own corner, both arms draped over the top ropes as she grins wide, ready to continue this battle.

ROUND 5: 
And FORGE ahead we go, with Hailey Clauson eager to end this fight early with another blatant charge at the sound of the bell! She rushes in wholeheartedly, taking tight swings at Behati’s head and body, landing some nice, stiff shots off the model’s side before trying her luck with her chin. Prinsloo, however, is doing more than surviving the rush assault, her defences finally fully formed as she only lets out the occasional grunt when one of Hailey’s fists crash into her ribs. Meanwhile, she’s moving about the ring on those white boots, her arms swinging back in counter blows across Clauson’s shocked expression! Hailey’s eating some choice shots across the face but doesn’t realise what’s happening till it’s too late… gets caught by a hook across the eyebrow, which draws a loud shout of pain from the Siren. Parts of her face already look reddish-pink and bruised, and for now, Clauson has no choice but to keep away and reevaluate her strategy.

ROUND 6:
Prinsloo’s all fired up for a comeback, now the one rushing in and spittin’ out combos, but she too underestimates Hailey’s resolve in this fight. It’s only round six and the two ladies are BARRELING into each other with spiteful energy and purpose, Prinsloo headhunting with a constant stream of jabs bashing the arms, occasionally landing on the nostrils, but for the most part, can’t quite score her punches clean on Hailey’s face, and neither to her body. Clauson’s big frame should present a bigger target, but no - the Siren’s been training hard as she angles her body slightly towards her attacker, tilting her head low and her shoulders squared up for BIG, strappin’ counterattacks that slam into Behati’s being, towards the end of the round fully deterring the Namibian from going all in and all out on a foe clearly alive and kickin’.

ROUND 7: 
Hailey lands the power punch to floor Behati for the second time. Behati gets up but is finished along the ropes and ref stops the fight.

Behati moves a little more slowly, cautiously, but still eager to put Hailey on her back. She takes great strides forward in a straight line, her right hand already pulled back and ready to let rip into the middle of Hailey’s guard. That’s her first mistake, however, as Clauson’s just sharper, faster, socks her to the cheek with a straight hand dug into the face hard, then a follow-up hook almost folds the blonde over in half with a shocked grunt. Behati suddenly blunted and stunned on the spot, powerless to stop more big blows from landing all over. Clauson having her way with the paralysed girl, bashing more hooks into the side of her tummy before breaking her arms apart completely (and easily) with a squared swing from the right. ARGH! Prinsloo flying awkwardly to the side, in tatters, her eyes wide in panic. No ropes can save her as Hailey literally LEAPS in after the injured blonde, ROCKS another hook across her chin square to SEND PRINSLOO DOWN for the second time in this fight!!

OUCH! How much more of this can Behati take?! Kudos to her though - she’s left stunned on her side by the ropes by that last number, but her eyes are still blinking rapidly, her lips parted as she tries to make sense of what needs to happen in the next ten seconds. Referee actually already reached the count of three nearby, but Prinsloo’s one tough cookie indeed, slowly willing her body up to her knees, then slowly pushing her way back up by the skin-of-the-teeth 9th count! It looks like this fight is set to continue!

Noone else is more frustrated than big bad Hailey Clauson, who’s surprised by the other blonde’s resilience after she turns around and sees Prinsloo shaking and wobbling by the ropes, one her hands dug into her hair, supporting her woozy head. Might there even be a flash of respect in the Siren’s eyes? 

Nonetheless, the fight continues, with the referee waving for the last two minutes to continue. AND HERE CLAUSON COMES!! Prinsloo barely moves off from her spot by the ropes when the big bad blonde comes rolling into town! GRUNT and an URRRK as Clauson feigns high with a left hook only to swing her right hand deep and down the middle, landing an uppercut right smack into Prinsloo’s body, which bends her over in two. Behati’s doing her best in these final seconds, either shoving a hand into Clauson’s face or shoulder,  trying to blunt the attack, or take a wild swing back at Clauson’s hide, but it only bounces harmlessly off the Siren’s flanks. Prinsloo taking all sorts of punishment in turn, her head swiped left, then right, then upwards, one low grunt emitted after another as Clauson keeps up the abuse, one final hook across the cheek finally drawing blood as Behati stumbles down the line, her hands clutched at her throbbing chin and the area right below the eye rather than punching back - FINALLY the ref has seen enough of this, JUMPS in to wave Clauson OFF!! IT’S OVER!!

Official Decision: Hailey Clauson defeats Behati Prinsloo via TKO7!

AFTER:
Behati secretly happy that the fight was stopped - it saved her a most humiliating KO loss. Still, the Namibian model sinks down to her knees at the very sound of the bell, her face still buried in her hands as she tries to stem the bleeding from the superficial cut. 

Meanwhile, Clauson is already circling back to her corner, arms up in the air and pumping her biceps, as the Siren adds another big blonde’s scalp to her collection. Those smug, luscious lips highlight the fact that this big Welterweight is long overdue for a title shot - ANY accolade, really, as Clauson walks away with the win tonight.
