5. Luisana Lopilato vs Vicky Pattison

Luisana:

(33, 5’6, 34:13 FCBA, VIXENs)

Vicky:
(33, 5’6, 2:2 FCBA, Free Agent)

BEFORE:
A comeback fight for Luisana Lopilato as she licks her wounds after that brutal championship match with Naomi Scott that took place just a couple of days ago.

“I’m still reeling from that eighth round KO,” Luisana laughs, trying her best to put on a brave face. “Though I must say, I’ve been hit worse.”

The Argentinian blonde is one to talk, parts of her face above her right eye still a little puffy after that epic match last month. When the reporters ask her what the hell she’s doing coming back to the ring so soon, Luisana simply smiles and responds:

“I told Caspian I wanted a quick turnaround. No buts or maybes. Win or lose, Vicky was an opponent we lined up even before I got the title fight. So, no excuses. I promised Vicky a fight, and so here we are.”

“You’re gonna regret saying ‘Yes,’” Vicky wags a finger from across the long table, the Brit pushing her messy, shoulder-length brown hair to one side, before continuing. “I saw that fight with Scott. Front row seat, in fact, when Luisa got KO’ed at eight. On one hand, Luisa has my respect for keeping to her contract. On the other, however, I ain’t gonna show her any leeway after that bell rings.”

Ladies shake hands at the podium, showing off a healthy respect for the other girl’s achievements, Vicky of course usually fighting across the Atlantic over in the BBU, but most recently having KO’ed girls like Jessica Alba and Lucy Pinder, with no issue.

Hours later, we’re back in the arena and ready to go ten rounds of Bantamweight action! Vicky’s in one corner, dressed in a black sports bra and white boxing trunks, yellow gloves on either hand. Luisana’s in the other, white lingerie set she’s most accustomed to and feeling comfortable in, bunching together red gloves as the announcer calls her name. Not everyday you get a fight within days of a championship challenge! Let’s see what happens!

ROUND 1:
Vicky comes in with enthusiasm, immediately taking swings at Luisana’s head, trying to catch her early with a knockout blow. Luisana plays it cautious, keeping her arms up as she blocks and avoids, bashes the occasional jab back into Pattison’s face to let her know she’s still alive and kickin’. Vicky however with both volume and quality as she scores a powerful cross hand to the body, all of a sudden stunning the former challenger in place for more punishment. Early success reinvigorates the British starlet, who rushes in and tries again to knock Luisana down, with little success. Luisa got hurt back there but quickly composes herself, circling back out of range and continuing to control Vicky’s advance with that jabbing right hand. Round ends and it’s a close round for Pattison, who smiles slightly as she makes her way back to her corner, having gone toe-to-toe with the former Bantamweight contender and doing remarkably well.

ROUND 2:
More of the same in the first minute as Vicky comes forward with renewed confidence. Early jabs taken on the arms as Lopilato blocks them with her own, but Pattison relentlessly coming forth, emboldened by her first round victory as she sails in with another one-two punch combo aimed at the blonde’s tummy, another big cross sent in and aimed at Luisa’s face, only to get BLOCKED by Luisana’s firm guard, and then--- POW!! Luisa RETURNS with her own bashing overhand right hand to the top of the brunette’s head, and WHAT THE HELL-- VICKY COLLAPSES TO HER BACK!! GOOD LORD! IT’S AN EARLY KNOCKDOWN FOR LUISANA LOPILATO!!

Blonde Vixen looks equally flabbergasted that that move of hers worked, hovering over the fallen Brit, who’s lying there flattened on her back, Vicky’s chest heaving as she stares up at the stadium lights! That superwoman punch came OUTTA nowhere, landing right between the eyes and leaving Pattison sprawled out in the middle of the ring! Could this be it, this early?!

Vicky groans as she tries to get off her back, but her head’s swimming from that one knockout blow to her forehead. She clutches at the top of her head, her eyes squeezed shut and having a difficult time even telling where the hell she is. She might have a concussion here, folks, with the Brit not making it off her butt even as the referee gives her the full ten-count to try and recover! But it’s no use! Luisana still looks on, shocked, even as the ref hits the count of 10 and WAVES the rest of this fight off! It’s OVER in KO2 fashion!

Official Decision: Luisana Lopilato defeats Vicky Pattison via KO2!

AFTER:

Bittersweet victory as Lopilato immediately heads over to Pattison’s side to check on her status. It’s one hell of a comeback for the Vixen, but even she wouldn’t want to win this fight in controversial fashion, especially if her opponent ends up being hurt at her expense. Medical team is already rushing in and under the ropes, and moments later, Vicky looks fine, smiling and choking back tears as she congratulates Luisa on her hard-fought victory.

Good lord - part of Lopilato cursing herself as well - if only last week’s fight with Naomi Scott had gone down so easily in her favour. Of course, no time for regrets at this point in her career, with a difference of one week able to decide a change in direction. For now, she walks away with her arm raised high by the referee, a somewhat relieved smile on her face for having won this match in decisive fashion.
