Pre-match

Tonight’s card features five new debuting stars! Starting the night off are two girls who formerly worked together in the same modelling agency.

Before the match, the media team got a chance to speak to these fighters backstage.

Michelle: “Happy to finally be invited to participate in the local boxing scene. I have been training ever since the first VIX scouting event was held here. Although Aurelia is my friend, I’m not going to hold anything back!”

Aurelia: “I’m a little nervous if I were to be honest. I’m used to punching sandbags but never a real human being, let alone a friend. But I will do my best!”

Fight time! Michelle is clad in a blue sports bra and black tights, complete with red boxing gloves. Opposite her, Aurelia wears a full black outfit with black gloves. Both their hair tied up in ponytails. DING starts 10 rounds of action!

Round 1:
The two debuting stars touch gloves in the center of the ring and begin to circle. Being pretty green, the pair starts off slow pawing each other’s face with no serious damage. However, Aurelia lands more shots than Michelle before the round ends. Giving her the wide lead.

Round 2:
Getting comfortable in their gloves, the pair returns to the center and begins slugging it out. The bronzed-skin fighter makes a few shots that lands on Aurelia’s tummy and cheeks but Aureilia fights back with a left-right combo that sends Michelle backpedalling. However, that was only temporary as Michelle flies back into action once more, catching Aurelia in the obliques and forehead that stuns her a little. Aurelia collects herself and fights back before the round ends with Michelle with a close lead over her opponent.

Round 3:
Aurelia comes charging in after the break, pressuring Michelle into the corner where she manages to connect with several tummy and face shots, forcing Michelle to clinch onto her.

After taking the fight out of the corner, Michelle breaks up the clinch and begins to fight back. Michelle catches Aurelia on the jaws, but is unable to put enough strength behind the shot, allowing Aurelia to come back with an uppercut to the tummy before the round ends. Third round goes to Aurelia with a close lead over Michelle.

Round 4:
Aurelia comes in strong, buffeting Michelle with jabs and crosses but Michelle’s guard proves difficult to break. Michelle looks for an opening and fires a precise uppercut that sends Aurelia’s sights to the rafters! Aurelia quickly collects her groggy self and defends, albeit rather weakly, as Michelle dismantles her guard by cutting her down at her trunk, Once, Aurelia’s face begin to expose, Michelle slams a stiff right hook into Aurelia’s cheeks that sends her sprawling on the canvas! The ref ushers Michelle back to the neutral corner as Aurelia rolls onto her back, struggling to sit up. The ref eventually counts to TEN and waves his arms!

Official Decision: Michelle Tan defeats Aurelia Ng via KO4!

Post-match:

Michelle goes on a celebratory parade right after the match, ecstatic after winning her first competitive match. After the excitement settles, Michelle removes her gloves and checks on her friend. “You okay, Aurelia?”

“Yeah...I won’t die from this….”

Relieved, Michelle hugs and pats Aurelia on the back as the ringside staff prepare to escort them backstage for medical attention.
